Jeannie Mai Shares Swimsuit Photo in the Snow "Cuz She Can"
Jeannie Mai is celebrating her birthday in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the television personality, who turned 45 on January 4, flaunts her fitter than ever figure in a bathing suit while posing in the snow, "Cuz she can," she explained in the caption. "Heck yeah she can omg 😳 thirst trap loves it," one of her followers commented. How did the star, who gained almost 20 pounds of muscle, transform her body into the perfection that it is? Celebwell has all the details about her workout.
Strength and Weight Training Transformed Her Body
In 2018 Jeannie shared some photos of her transformation from skinny to fit. "On the left is the first time I tried on this dress, at a weight I've kept for 12 years, 103 lbs. Staying 103 came from my self control to lose 'chubby' teenage weight and a stressful idea that my body was built to look best 'thin'. As I'm nearing my 40s, I realize that I've been thru so much shit mentally and emotionally, why the hell should my body be forced to suffer (from my over controlling ways) too? So 3 months ago I started a new eating plan and training program and gained 17 lbs," she wrote. "So far I'm 3 months of eating more, (clean protein and saying Yes to carbs!!), lifting heavy weights (best therapy ever!!) and truly loving all of Me. Not sure where I'm headed but I know I'm gonna look the best I've ever looked because Im spending quality time on ME."
Bench Squats
In another post she revealed the workout responsible for her body, starting with bench squats. She revealed that she squats 95 to 115lbs, doing 12 reps and 3 sets. "Clean up form, watch them knees, get low to see that femur (thigh bone) parallel to the floor. (Twerkers rejoice)," she wrote.
Hip Thrusters
Next she does 95-pound hip thrusters, 16 to 18 reps and 4 sets, "but my goal is to build up to 6 sets, and I WILL lift my own body weight in Jesus name ha!" Mai continued. "QWEEN of building booty, hamstrings, back muscle. This exercise gives you optimal hip extension- power in your glutes, the most powerful muscles in ur bod."
Cable Kickbacks
Next up, cable kickbacks. She sticks to 30 lbs and does 12 per leg, 4 sets. "Cable kickback: Targets all 3 glutes (minimus, medius & maximus, low-back, builds the BOOTY SHELF," Mai continued.
Deadlifts
Lastly, she does 115 pound deadlifts, 12 reps and 4 sets. "Deadlifts: legit Mai fave exercise of all time. All-bawdy, all day. DLs train from your feet to your hands and everything in between," she concluded.
