She surrounds herself with positivity…and puppies. She said on Instagram, as she plays with her dog, "Anotha day, anotha dolla…" After getting her breakthrough during the pandemic in 2020, she has had to overcome quite a few battles to work through her goals. Here is what Brady does to maintain her health and stay at the top of her game.

1

She plays tennis

It's a huge part of her life and her workouts. "A year ago I wouldn't have believed if you told me that I'd be playing on Ashe this time around. Thank you to everyone who helped me get back to this stage. Still got a ways to go but I'm so grateful to be back competing. Anyway come watch me and @luisastefani play some dubs today lol," she said on Instagram.

Setting goals and working to achieve them can lead to great results. "There was a time where I was just like, 'OK, what can I do to give myself the best opportunity to see where I can go in tennis? How can I achieve or [maximize] my potential?'" Brady said to the Los Angeles Times. According to Positive Psychology, "setting goals helps trigger new behaviors, helps [guide] your focus and helps you sustain that momentum in life."

She worked with a coach

She works directly with a coach to work towards her goals. "It was a process of over a few months. I was thinking about finding a coach and I was able to find a coach and he was based out of Germany, and I had no problem going over there training if I know this is worth it and is going to make me better," she said. "The worst that could happen is I don't like it. I really, really enjoyed it and was able to get a lot better."

She does strength training

She prioritizes strength training. "Ain't here knitting sweaters," she said on Instagram. According to the Mayo Clinic, "your body fat percentage will increase over time if you don't do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose over time. Strength training can help you preserve and enhance your muscle mass at any age."
