Jennifer Garner Loves These High-Protein Ina Garten Recipes

Jennifer Garner does it all. She's an actress, a businesswoman, a spokeswoman, and a great home cook. The celeb also hosts "Pretend Cooking Show" on her Instagram, where she entertains her followers by preparing different recipes. Jennifer even had Ina Garten—who she refers to as "my Queen, my friend, and my Cooking Fairy"—on an episode. In fact, the actress recently revealed that she's a huge fan of Ina's recipes, including a few healthy high-protein picks.
"Ina's recipes are so ingrained in me, I don't even realize it," Jennifer told EatingWell.
Let's dive into the high-protein Ina Garten recipes Jennifer Garner can't stop making.
1. Roasted Shrimp and Orzo
One of Jennifer's go-to recipes is Ina's Roasted Shrimp and Orzo. "She does a shrimp orzo situation that I love," the actress told EatingWell.
It includes a few extra ingredients like cucumber, red onion, scallions, fresh dill, and feta cheese. Thanks to the shrimp, this dish is packed with protein.

2. Crispy Chicken With Lemon Orzo
Shrimp isn't the only thing Jennifer likes to make with orzo. She shared with EatingWell another one of Ina's recipes she's obsessed with: Crispy Chicken With Lemon Orzo.
"In Modern Comfort Food, [Garten] makes these chicken breasts that are crispy on the outside, and then you put them in the oven, and she makes them with an orzo salad. That is a big hit as well," the celeb said.

3. Perfect Roast Chicken
Jennifer shared more of Ina's recipes that she loves making in another interview with Harper's Bazaar (via EatingWell). Ina's Perfect Roast Chicken, which is seasoned with black pepper, thyme, and Spanish onions, is a treasured keeper. Jennifer stressed, "Obviously, it's classic."
"My kids would say that a 'mom dinner' is a roast chicken, which you can make really quickly and they're great with everything: rice, mashed potatoes, crispy potatoes, really you cannot go wrong," Jennifer told EatingWell.
