She Eats A Balanced Diet

 

Jessica makes sure to eat a healthy diet, but she also believes in having a cheat day once in a while. “I just try to eat really healthy,” she said to The Los Angeles Times. “I mean, of course I have cheat-days and will go out and have, like, cookies and pizza. If I’m training, maybe I up the protein intake…. I don’t do so much eating for training unless I’m really training for something specific.”

She Cooks

One way Jessica ensures that she eats healthily is by cooking her own meals. She tells ELLE that she buys a lot of good ingredients from the store, and creates delicious dishes with them. “You can find healthy food pretty much anywhere. I do a lot of cooking at home using grains and vegetables.”

She Loves Yoga

Jessica shared some of her workout tips in an interview with SELF. She says that she loves doing yoga to keep herself in shape. “You put in effort to learn and memorize all these movements, and then you can be in almost a completely meditative state when you’re going through the process, because you’re going at your own pace and the speed of your own breath,” she says. “It’s been a wonderful way to practice my at-home yoga.”

She Works Out With Her Husband

Jessica and her husband, Justin Timberlake, are one of Hollywood’s power couples. And they even like to exercise together. “I actually love mommy-daddy workouts, they’re the best,” she said to SELF. “It doesn’t always happen, but it’s so nice to have a partner when you’re doing a workout. It’s something my husband and I really enjoy doing together—we both are workout enthusiasts. When we can, we make it happen.”

She’s Consistent

Despite her busy schedule, Jessica makes time to workout. She shared her approach for doing so in her interview with SELF. “Either be really kind to yourself and say, ‘I’m missing it today and it’s not the end of the world, but I’m going to make time for myself tomorrow’ or whatever day works for you. Or, pick something you can do in 20 minutes.”
