Jordan Chiles In Swimsuit Stuns For Sports Illustrated

Jordan Chiles is best known for being on the US gymnastics team for the 2021 and 2024 Summer Olympics. Jordan is also pursuing a modeling career, as she appeared in the recent edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She shared some highlights from the shoot on her Instagram page this week. In it, Jordan wore a brown-two piece and posed on the rocks overlooking the ocean. Sports Illustrated captioned the post, "She doesn't just stick the landing—she defines it." How does Jordan Chiles keep herself in shape? Here are 5 of her tips.
She Eats Lighter Snacks
Jordan broke down her typical diet when she's training to EatingWell. She says that when she needs a snack between practices, she grabs something light. "For me, I think it's just the simple things, whether it's fruit or cheese and crackers," Jordan said. "I'll make a bagel—just something that's kind of light but allows me to still function throughout my second practice. The heartier stuff is what I eat for dinner like steak, salmon or pasta."
She Believes In Self-Care
Jordan prioritizes recovery when she's training. She shared her favorite ways to unwind with EatingWell. "I have two little dogs, their names are Chanel and Versace. So typically that's my time where I can play with them and let them just roam and do whatever they need to. Normally during that time frame, I'll watch TV. It's like recovery, getting your mind off of your sport and just paying attention to yourself. That's something that I typically do. I'll most likely be in my bed on FaceTime with my best friend, but if I could just stay in my room every single day, I would."
She Listens To Music While She Works Out
One thing Jordan needs when she works out? A good playlist. "I like anything that you can dance to," she said to EatingWell. "On my playlist right now, I have Megan [Thee Stallion], I have Beyoncé, I have SZA, H.E.R., Drake, Lil Baby. Recently I was on a Beyoncé wave and my favorite song I always liked listening to was either 'Summer Renaissance' or 'I'm That Girl' because it always felt a little motivational, for sure."
She Has A Healthy Relationship With Food
In an interview with People, Jordan revealed that she struggled with her body image, and didn't eat as much as she should've. She says that she has learned to have a better relationship with food. "When I moved away from that toxic encouragement and ate what I wanted, my body responded more. My body needed fuel. We train 34 hours a week so our bodies can do insane things, and we need food to keep our bodies moving."
She's Confident
Jordan has a lot of confidence in herself, and she wants to use it to inspire others. "I'm really proud of the fact that I've found this new confident side of me," she told Mind Body Green. "When I was younger, I wasn't allowed to use my voice a lot in my sports. Or I was always ashamed of what I looked like. So being able to embrace who I am makes me proud. Now I love showing off my personality and showing people I'm not just this shy girl who can't use her voice. I'm actually this strong, independent woman who feels like she can encourage others."
