Josephine Skriver In Bikini Asks “What Are We Doing This Summer?”

Josephine Skriver is best known for being a Victoria’s Secret Angel. And a recent Instagram post of hers shows why she got that gig. Josephine is ready for the summer weather, and she shared a black and white photo of herself lying by the pool. In it, she showed off her figure in a bikini. She Does Workouts She Enjoys
Josephine’s biggest piece of workout advice? Do things you actually enjoy. “I’ve tried every workout, and I think that’s a journey everyone has to go through to figure out what works for your body,” she said to Byrdie. “The best advice I can give is to make sure that it’s fun. Working out doesn’t have to be lifting weights or spinning—it can be Zumba dancing, swimming, or hiking.”
She Lifts Weights
One of Josephine’s go-to workouts is lifting weights. “I’ve tried everything from yoga to spinning to Pilates, and the workout that I’ve landed on is weights,” she tells Byrdie. “I finally got past the myth that girls develop muscles so quickly that I was scared I would lift one weight and be bulky, but really, if you stick with it and take a few weeks off, muscle memory helps you snap back.”
She Makes Working Out A Priority
No matter how busy Josephine’s schedule gets, she makes sure to workout. She tells Byrdie that she makes sure to make working out a priority. “On a good week, I go to the gym five days a week, sometimes three days a week, or sometimes I can’t even make it one, so I really try to listen to my body. I always say that every day is a good day to go to the gym, and because of the schedule I have, I can’t say Oh, I’ll go on Mondays, because I don’t know what I’ll be doing next Monday.”
She Stays Hydrated
Josephine shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Coveteur. One of her biggest secrets is keeping herself hydrated each day. “I always have a bottle of water next to my bed and that’s the first thing I chug. I think it’s super important to stay hydrated and nothing clears my skin up more and gives me energy like water.”
She Does Burpees
One of Josephine’s favorite exercises to do is burpees. “Nothing will give you a better workout than burpees,” she said in her Coveteur interview. “It’s a full body move and I hate them more than anything, but I can’t not love them because they do so much. When you’re just in your hotel room and there’s no gym, just see how many you can do.”
