Josephine Skriver is a very successful model. She’s best known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Skriver and her fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel, Jasmine Tookes, have their own clothing line called Joja. She modeled some clothes from the line on Instagram. Skriver captioned the post, “My go-to summer outfit.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Josephine Skriver stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
1. She Takes Care Of Her Skin
Skriver shared some of her skincare secrets with Vogue. “I always travel with Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water, it’s good before and after make-up. My skin changes a lot, so I use just serum but then layer with a moisturiser as it dries out on planes but then if it gets oily, I switch back to just applying serum. I try and use organic as I can’t control what goes on my face whilst I’m at work but if there’s one thing I swear by, it’s wearing an SPF."
2. She Does Burpees

Skriver shared some of her favorite workouts in an interview with Coveteur. “Nothing will give you a better workout than burpees. It’s a full body move and I hate them more than anything, but I can’t not love them because they do so much. When you’re just in your hotel room and there’s no gym, just see how many you can do. My trainer used to have this thing that every minute you’re late you would have to do 10 burpees. One time I was stuck in traffic and had to do 100 burpees before we could start the workout. I felt like it took me a whole hour and it was hell [laughs]. I was so sore the next day. I was never late again.”
3. She Strength Trains
Skriver tells Byrdie that she’s a big fan of strength training. “I've tried everything from yoga to spinning to Pilates, and the workout that I've landed on is weights. I finally got past the myth that girls develop muscles so quickly that I was scared I would lift one weight and be bulky, but really, if you stick with it and take a few weeks off, muscle memory helps you snap back.”
4. She Eats Healthy
Skriver also talked about her diet with Byrdie. "I don't follow anything strictly. I just eat a lot of protein and a lot of veggies, and I make sure I get my carbs because the way I work out, I need healthier carbs like brown rice or sweet potatoes because if I cut out carbs, I would have no energy to do what I do. For breakfast today, I had scrambled eggs, spinach, and a cup of brown rice. I would say most of the time it's grains, protein, and rice, but sometimes for lunch, I don't do as many carbs because it makes me sleepy. But for breakfast, it's such a good start—especially after my workout, I'm dead tired and I need fuel for the whole day. My biggest meal is breakfast—sometimes I have it twice because I'm so hungry.”
5. She Works On Things She Struggles With
Skriver tells Coveteur that she wants to practice workouts that she struggles with. “I had a really, really hard time learning how to jump rope. For a good year and a half to two years I just refused to do it. I wasn’t even good at it in school. It was never my thing! But there was one trainer that was really patient with me and he tapped into my competitiveness and taught me. I’m still not great at it but I can manage to workout with it. I think it’s like that: if there is one workout you do not like it’s probably because you should practice it more.”
