Dancing With the Stars host Julianne Hough is incredibly disciplined when it comes to her health and fitness regimen. Hough, 35, shared a video of herself wearing black shorts and a matching sports bra, doing a kettlebell workout at the gym. She also does a mat workout and uses dumbbells. “Up in the gym just working on my fitness 😜,” she captioned the post. “Hot stuff hot haircut,” commented Chelsea Handler. Here’s how Hough is thriving in her 30s.

1. Relaxing By the Lake

Julianne.Hough.2Julianne Hough/Instagram

Hough relaxes with wine and friends. "I love unwinding with people on a lake, having a glass of wine and playing games, because the sense of community feeds my soul,” she told E! News. “I also love my space and unwinding on my own."

2. Mental Health

Hough knows how important exercise is for mental health and wellness. "The more you move, it directly affects the way you feel," she told E! News. "Whether it's a Kinrgy class or doing Pilates or yoga, the fact that we get to combine all of those modalities is my favorite because I love versatility… I need a little bit of something different and unique so that my brain stays active."

3. Dancing Queen

Hough is an accomplished and talented dancer. “I have been fortunate enough to try so many different forms of expression over the years but dance has always been the beginning and end for me. I will always come back to dance. This year I made an intention and concerted effort to bring dance back into my life through really challenging myself artistically and athletically. Training! Zoi was a person and choreographer that I have been a fan of for years and that I felt was going to test my limits as that artistic athlete and dancer and I was not wrong. I hope you enjoy this piece. This is the first of more to come ✨” she captioned an Instagram post.

4. Energetic Health

Hough believes in a holistic approach to health and fitness. "This is the age of energetic health," she told E! News. "Because if you can change your energy, then you can change your mindset, and then you can change your physicality. We've been going about it the other way, which is: If I'm physical, then my body is going to look good. But if you focus more on your energy, then you get fitness as a plus."

5. Daily Movement

Hough needs to move her body at least once a day to feel her best. "I know that I can walk around the hills with my dog," she told E! News. "That's key because I have to get her out, too. But movement in general, whether it's 10 minutes or five minutes of something, I have to move my body."

Jana Kramer has been working hard to get into the best shape of her life, and it shows! The actress and country singer shared a mirror selfie this week, flaunting her rock hard body in a two-piece swimsuit. How does the mother-of-two keep herself so incredibly fit? She recently revealed some of her diet and workout secrets. Read on to see 5 ways Jana Kramer stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Worked “Hard” For Her Body

In the new Instagram post, Jana explains that it isn’t a “thirst trap” photo, or an “I want attention post” or a “post to make you compare your body to mine,” but is more about her feeling proud of her body. “Because when I look at this photo, I see strength. If I’m honest, I lost a little too much weight after my divorce, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the number I saw. But that’s an unhealthy way to look at it. It should never be about the number. It should be about how you feel,” she explained. “I have been actively becoming strong again for me. I look at this pic now and I’m proud of myself for the hard work and commitment to loving myself. This body made two beautiful humans. I’m proud of my body." She mentioned feeling even better after her breast augmentation and promoted Natrelle Breast Augmentation.

2. She Works Out with a Trainer

Jana does a lot of cardio on her own in her home gym, but works out with Nashville based personal trainer-to-the-stars Erin Oprea as well. In a recent Instagram story, she revealed that they pretty much follow Oprea’s Pretty Muscles app workouts. “I work out with Erin two times a week,” she explained. The duo do “a ton of squats, sumo squats, lunges.”

3. Running Helped Her “Lean Out”

Oprea also got Jana into running. “I hated running and now I love it,” she confessed. “It’s helped me lean out.”

4. She Is Proud of Her Body

Jana’s go to diet rule? “I personally think everything in moderation,” she revealed. “I had a chocolate chip cookie last night. I will eat another one tonight. I don’t think you should deprive yourself of anything. I think, eat when you are hungry. But all-around diet is how I do it.”

5. Exercise Boosts Her Mental Health

“Still not feeling 100 percent,” Jana explained earlier this year in an Instagram story video. “But I'm still going to run it out, sweat it out." She once explained to Us Weekly that the mental health benefits of exercise are a motivating factor. “Working out for me is my sanity…Even just going for a walk, that is a place where I come back and I'm like, 'I feel good, I feel balanced. Working out is 100% how I stay level."

Dancer and fitness guru Julianne Hough is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how intense—and very fun—training can be for the star. Hough, 35, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a matching crop top, during a dance rehearsal with the text “sounds dancers make” over the footage. “Whatever it takes, I guess! 🤷‍♀️,” she captioned the post. Hough is incredibly busy these days with hosting Dancing With the Stars—here’s how she stays fit and healthy.

1. Sleep and Nutrition

Hough loves spinning, hiking, weight training, and cardio, and obviously dance; frequently changing up her workouts depending on what her schedule looks like. “My rituals have to be slightly different,” she told Hamptons Magazine. “My biggest thing right now is I’m less concerned about [getting in] the right workout every day... Because I have so much movement in my life, the thing that I need right now is more sleep and healthy nutrition, so that is fueling me because I’m already moving a bunch. So I just look at it like, what is my life calling for right now?”

2. Morning Workouts

Hough makes a point of carving out time for herself first thing in the day. “A lot of people put work and other things before personal time but then are too exhausted at the end of the day to do anything for themselves,” she told PopSugar. “I believe that whatever it is you decide to do for yourself, whether it’s yoga, painting, or cooking, it’s best to do it in the morning so that you can feel inspired and energized for your day ahead. You can give more of yourself to your work and to others once you’ve given yourself some attention.”

3. Less Is More

Hough takes good care of her skin, and wears as little makeup as possible on a day-to-day basis. “I always start with skin, so my EltaMD sunscreen is really important to me,” she told Women’s Health. “I love lip balm, so Laneige is a lip balm that I really love. It's like a mask, it's so thick. I love making sure my environment is like, candles lit or incense burning, just to create the experience and get my mindset in a really calming way, so I can self-regulate before I get crazy again with work stuff.”

4. Blonde Hair Care Tips

The,Top,Of,A,Dish,Detergent,Bottle.Shutterstock

Hough is careful about the products she uses on her hair. “So here’s the lowdown. If you’re blonde, your hair tends to get a little brassy, so you can use a purple shampoo to revive your hue,” she told PopSugar. “But sometimes if you leave it in too long, your hair can turn slightly gray. In order to get that brassy color out, you can rinse your hair with some dish soap, and it'll cancel out that ashy hue. It’s not something I recommended doing often or in place of your shampoo, but it definitely helps in an emergency.

5. Her Own Wellness Brand

Hough started her wellness brand Kinrgy to help others with their health from a holistic standpoint. “The reason why I started Kinrgy in general was for my own growth and transformation and how dance really helped me with my own anxieties,” she told Women’s Health. “What it did for me, I wanted to share that with people. It gives permission to be fully expressed for your own unique version of who you are, that there is no right or wrong way to do anything. There is no perfection, it's about expression.”

Meghan Trainor is shaking her glutes in her workout clothes. In a new social media post, the All About That Bass singer croons some tunes and dances all around, showing off her amazing body. And, according to her followers, she is teasing a new single, Been Like This, from her upcoming album. How does the mother-of-two stay fit? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She “Worked Every Day” to Lose Her Baby Weight

Spotlight: Meghan TrainorRebecca Sapp/Getty Images

Meghan revealed to Entertainment Tonight Canada that when she gave birth to her first son Riley, she was at her “heaviest” and it impacted her emotionally and physically. “I was my heaviest I've ever been, I was like over 200 pounds when I C-sectioned him out. I just wasn't feeling great”’ she said. “I've never had stitches, so to have this C-section scar, I was in a really dark place and I wanted to be in a great place for my son,” she added. To lose the weight, “I worked every day and challenged myself,” she continued. “I was like, ‘If I can survive a C-section, I can do anything!’ I was very dedicated, and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time, one pound… I learned that I do like healthy food and I learned what portions mean. And I learned my brain is so happy when I exercise, so I’m just [feeling] better than ever.”

2. Her Son Motivates Her

Her biggest motivation to get into shape was her son. “I want to run and keep up with my kid. I want to be able to put on a bathing suit and run out there and not be in my head about it. And I want to climb up a treehouse with him,” she told PEOPLE. “I've lost all the baby weight and 10 extra lbs., so I'm just going to keep going and do this for my younger self.”

3. She Lost One Pound Per Week

Goal,Weight,Date,On,CalendarShutterstock

Megan told PEOPLE that she had a slow and steady approach to weight loss. “I did it the healthy way, the long way, the one pound a week way. And it's a proud accomplishment that I never thought I could ever do,” she said.

4. She Works Out with a Person Trainer

Meghan has been working with Rebecca Stanton (@rebeccabroxfit) for years. The two do everything from simple strength and weight training to HIIT style workouts.

5. Her Husband Is Her Workout Buddy and Fitspiration

In 2018, Meghan told Entertainment Tonight that her husband, Daryl Sabara, is her workout buddy. “He really changed my life. He showed me how working out can be fun. I didn't believe it, but now it's true and it feels so good when you're sore -- I love that feeling now, I'm addicted to it,” she said. “He cooks for me and taught me to cook. I never knew how to cook. He taught me, like, secrets how to make your food taste great but also be healthy for you.”

6. She Eats Smaller Portions

Meghan maintains that it isn’t just what she eats – but how much of it – that is crucial to weight loss. “I learned what portions mean. I was very dedicated and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time,” she said.

A few months back Julianne Hough posted a video of her grueling workout with trainer Mark Pulse, set to the tune I Took a Nap, and it was so hardcore that it went viral. Now, the 33-year–old is back in action, revealing all the exercise moves responsible for her fit figure—while showing off her impossibly flat abs, of course. A few days later, she posted a video of her jumping in a bathing suit. "1st week of 2022 down and feeling high on life! Grateful for all that has transpired so far and ready for what’s to come!" she captioned it. Read on to see Julianne Hough’s grueling workout video and learn about 5 other ways she stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Julianne Doesn’t Mess Around at the Gym

“Back by popular demand… I took another nap! 💪🏼💤” Hough captioned the video. “Thanks for workin’ me out and capturing my goody side @markpulse - who says you can’t dance and play around while you kick some 🍑” In the clip, the dancer, actress, and host shows off her impressively toned midsection as she completes a bunch of strength training exercises like burpees, deadlifts, and a variety of ab exercises using weights.

2. She Eats Vegan and Gluten-Free

Hough is pretty strict about her diet, eating gluten-free and vegan. “I sound so L.A. right now,” she revealed in a “What I Eat in a Day” video with Harper’s Bazaar, “but it’s because my body needs it. Because trust me, do I love flour, I love sugar, I love cookies, I love all the things. But I’m really just trying to focus on my health from the inside out.”

3. She Drinks Lemon Water

Julianne is one of the many stars who swear by lemon water. “This is how I start my morning every. single. day,” she explained in an Instagram video. “Having a strong morning routine gives me a sense of stability and puts my mind at ease knowing that I’m waking up, cleansing my body and committing to my wellness.” Sometimes she pre-makes the drink the night before, which “usually consists of lukewarm temperature water with half of a lemon—and sitting overnight, really getting all of those juices flushed out in there,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

4. She Loves Green Juice

“I usually find a way to do some sort of celery juice, or something that also gives me a little bit of sugar before I go do a quick workout,” she said about her green juice of choice. “Or I’ll do like, amino acids [vitamins] or something like that to give me that support, that energy that I’m looking for.” One of her favorite green juice recipess? “I usually like it a little sweeter, less bitter, so I put in a green apple, some spinach, kale. Again, if I want it sweeter, I’ll put some carrots in. But I love ginger, and lemon too, so I’ll put that in,” she added to Elle in 2016. “Cucumber, celery, anything green, really. Sometimes I’ll add beets too, depending on my mood. And then I’ll go work out, it just depends.”

5. She Cheats

Julianne allows herself to indulge every once in a while. “If I could give you any words of encouragement with what you eat, it’s enjoy yourself, everything in moderation, and if you love your body and love what you’re putting into your body, your body’s gonna know,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “So if you’re gonna have a drink, if you’re gonna have a yummy sweet tooth, enjoy it. Take the pleasure in it.”

6. She Enjoys Group Fitness

Julianne also does group workouts at SoulCycle. "I love being around people and community," she explained to Women's Health. Another favorite? Hot Power fusion yoga at CorePower Yoga.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
