Skye makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She shared her secrets and fitness routine in an interview with E! News. "I work out with my trainer like 4 to 5 times a week. I do 45 minutes of cardio, then we do dynamics and end with some weight training and abs work outs."

She's True To Herself

Skye tells Coveteur that she makes sure to be true to herself throughout her career. "At almost every single point of my career, whether it was with the first label I was signed to or the second, there were so many opinions being thrown around left and right about what type of artist I should be, how I should do my hair, what makeup I should put on, the clothes I needed to wear. I respected everyone because they've been in this industry for an extremely long time, but I really had to take it upon myself and ask myself what it is that I want to do. I don't think I found that voice until recently. You have to take a step back and focus on who you want to be as an artist because if you don't have an idea of yourself, someone is going to try and make you their vision."

She No Longer Blames Herself

Skye is open about being a survivor of domestic abuse. She shared how she was able to move forward in an interview with Billboard. "I chose to stop blaming myself. I would think about the situation asking what I did wrong. I am focusing on all the things I did right. I am focusing on all the positive things that are happening in my life. After I went through this experience, I was so angry."

She Writes About Her Experiences

Skye tells Billboard that writing a song about her experience with domestic abuse helped her. "I did everything to try and understand what these emotions were. Honestly, being able to put all of that energy into this visual, my music, and in this new project [lessened my pain]. I found a sense of sanity. It turned from me wanting revenge to understanding that, that's not the message I wanted to portray."

She's Confident

Skye has a lot of confidence in herself. She shared her secrets for building confidence in her interview with Coveteur. "Confidence is something that needs to be consistently built up because it can be torn down at any time. You have to make sure you surround yourself with amazing people who keep you in that state of mind. For the past 10 years of my life, I really think that I've been working extremely hard on just being a better person for myself."
