If you're a country music fan, you know that Kacey Musgraves is an icon in the industry. She's been going strong for over a decade and shows no sign of slowing down. Songs like "Follow Your Arrow," "Rainbow," "Slow Burn," and "High Horse" are a few of her top hits. The artist has worked with some of the best, including Harry Styles, Willie Nelson, and Troye Sivan. Kacey also makes sure to kill it when it comes to her wellness habits, working out consistently and consuming a nutritious diet. Here's everything to know about the celeb's workout and diet habits.
1. Kacey Musgraves Works With a Trainer
Many country singers, including Kacey Musgraves, work with celebrity trainer Erin Opera to keep themselves in shape. Erin shared this photo on Instagram of one of Kacey's workouts. She captioned it, "@spaceykacey came to have fun in my Shape Studio!!! Look at those abs! Believe me, I couldn't stop admiring them either. Consistency, hard work, and a clean diet: you got it Kacey!!! I love when my clients feel their best, it makes me SO happy."

2. She Does Banded Squats
Erin shared one of the squat workouts she does with Kacey in an interview with Us Weekly, telling the outlet, "There's this little band that you put around your ankle and you sort of sit down into a half squat and you take your legs nice and wide, almost squat wide, and then you do tiny little steps in one direction. Twenty one way and 20 back and then 10 one way and 10 back."

3. She Has a Great Workout Playlist
Kacey makes sure to stream a solid workout playlist, and, according to Erin, it's super diverse. "Sometimes it's not even in our language," Erin told Us Weekly. "I'm like, 'What is this? How is this motivating you?' But it makes her happy and I'm like, 'If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.' She looks incredible and has worked so hard."
4. She Does Tabata Workouts
The singer does a lot of Tabata workouts, including pushups and planks with chest taps, Erin revealed to PureWow.
"We've been able to keep her on track with the crazy schedule she's had over the last couple years. Some workouts that we've loved doing that can be done on the bus are Tabatas. I also love turning fitness into a game because why not make it fun but still challenging," Erin shared, adding, "Tabatas are a four-minute workout that involves 20-second bursts of exercise followed by 10 secs of rest for 8 rounds. You can do so much with it."

5. She Does Pure Barre
Constantly on the road, Kacey needs to focus on workouts that can be done wherever she happens to be. Her solution? Pure Barre. Kacey brings the Pure Barre: Mile High DVD and her grippy socks with her when traveling, saying, "I can do the workouts everywhere," according to Us Weekly.

6. She Consumes a Balanced Diet
Balance is something Kacey truly values when it comes to her eating regimen.
"It is torture sometimes trying to eat healthy on the road, but I try my best. It's all about balance and still letting my tastebuds enjoy themselves. If there's a reason to celebrate or I'm somewhere that has some kind of food that I know I won't be able to resist, then I try to eat lighter all around that. Also, I try to eliminate carbs and most processed foods," the singer shared, via Women's Health.
7. She Limits Alcohol
In addition to helping Kacey with her workout regimen, Erin helps the singer optimize her healthy eating habits. One thing she advises Kacey, and all her clients, to do is limit alcohol.
"I'm not saying you can drink as much alcohol as you want, but I try to limit them to two drinks a week, which a lot of people are like, 'Oh jeez! I need wine every night, that's bologna!' But literally you can do that," Erin told UsWeekly.

8. She Carves Out Time To Unwind
It's clear that Kacey values her self-care time.
"I luxuriate in my bed. I hang out with Pepper. I cook for friends. I get song ideas there. I have a sauna. I use that. I just feel like I'm more well there, and I just have gotten better at not being intimidated by alone time," she told The Cut.
