Kaley Cuoco has been a TV staple for years, starring in hit shows like 8 Simple Rules, Charmed, and The Big Bang Theory. More recently, she earned an Emmy nomination for The Flight Attendant. Beyond her acting chops, Cuoco is known for her strong, toned physique—something she credits to a dedicated workout routine. In a recent Instagram post, she showcased her fit frame in a sleek black dress, leaving fans wondering: How does she stay in such amazing shape? From intense training sessions to mindful eating, here are seven ways Cuoco keeps herself looking and feeling her best.

She Does Yoga

Cuoco shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Shape Magazine. She says that yoga is one of her favorite exercises. “Doing yoga five times a week has transformed my body,” she says. “I love being toned and having muscle; it’s so sexy and beautiful.” John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga has a lot of benefits. “Yoga is as good as basic stretching for easing pain and improving mobility in people with lower back pain. The American College of Physicians recommends yoga as a first-line treatment for chronic low back pain.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cuoco works with trainer, Ryan Sorensen to stay healthy. Sorensen broke down the workouts he does with her with Shape Magazine. “We have really ramped up her training,” he said. “Basically, she takes one day off a week and trains six days a week. My job is to always be in communication with her, keep her motivated with result-driven targets, and always listen to her body to make sure we are doing what her body can handle at any given point."

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Sorensen tells Shape Magazine that Cuoco likes to do a variety of things to stay in shape. "Her training regimen consisted of high-intensity circuit full-body training, like cardio, strength training, and lots of core twice a week," he says. "Hot yoga once a week, and a couple of days a week she would ride (cycling), which is a beast of a workout."

She Climbs Stairs

Sorensen tells Shape Magazine that he has Cuoco do a lot of stair workouts. “We do different movements, like skip a stair, every stair, lateral stair climb, [and] plyo movements five to six times, then we hike back. All in all, it's about an hour workout.” ACEFitness.org states that stair workouts have a lot of benefits. “Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions — including high blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels — that increases your risk for heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, per Mayo Clinic. It's important for your overall health to reduce your risk. Some data suggest that using stairs in your everyday life, such as by walking up a flight or two instead of taking the elevator, is a burst of intense exercise that may stave off metabolic disease.”

She Uses A Treadmill

One thing Cuoco does to stay in shape is run on a treadmill. She did a lot of these workouts after having her daughter. “Putting that incline up is so good for your muscles, and for your circulation,” Cuoco tells TODAY.com. “I’ll also walk backward, which is amazing for your butt and legs. It pretty much works everything.” HealthyTalbot.org states that using a treadmill has a lot of benefits. “Treadmill working is an aerobic/ cardio exercise. Studies demonstrate that aerobic exercise can minimize the risk of heart diseases. Moreover, they can strengthen your heart muscles. This helps to lower blood pressure and allows the heart to pump blood more efficiently. Most doctors recommend aerobic exercise to people suffering from cardiovascular diseases.”

She Has Scheduled Cheat Days

Cuoco talked about her diet in her interview with Shape. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy, but doesn’t want to completely cut things out. For this reason, Cuoco says that she has scheduled cheat days. “I know when I’m being good all week long that come Sunday, I’m going to lie by the pool, have a drink, and eat some pizza. Then I wake up on Monday morning and I’m all ready to start the week again. I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.”

She Stays Motivated

Cuoco makes sure to stay motivated to workout. She shared how she stays motivated to TODAY.com. “I remind myself that it’s just an hour of my day, and like eating, it’s important for my body and my heart,” Cuoco explains. “And you never leave a workout and go, ‘I wish I didn’t do that.’ Even if it wasn’t the workout you envisioned, even if it it was a little bit more low-key. Getting a good sweat sets the whole tone for the day.”

It pretty much works everything.”

2. She’s Motivated

Getting a good sweat sets the whole tone for the day.”

3. She Uses A Skin Cream

Cuoco shared some of her favorite products in an interview with New York Magazine. She says that one of her favorite skincare products is a cream from Egyptian Magic. “I fell in love with it after my makeup artist on The Flight Attendant started using it on me as a barrier cream,” Cuoco revealed. “I ended up ordering a ton. I apply it absolutely everywhere: my hands, lips, neck, elbows, face. Because it’s allergy season now, I’ve actually been putting it in my nose, too. I use it if I have any sort of chafing or irritation. It can really, truly go anywhere.”

4. She Uses A Foam Roller

Cuoco tells New York Magazine that she loves using a foam roller. “I started using this a couple years ago. It has completely changed my life. It has these big divots, so I can wiggle around on my side or back or legs and get the spots that are extra tender. I work out and ride horses a lot; my legs get extremely sore from horseback riding, so I basically don’t go a day without using the Rollga. I really enjoy using it after I shower at night. I’ll watch TV and roll around on it for a bit. I sometimes spend more than an hour trying to get my blood moving. One of the best things to do is just sit in it and, without moving, let the roller kind of get into a muscle. It releases tension.”

5. She Takes Supplements

In order to help her sleep, Cuoco takes supplements. “Olly’s sleep supplements were my introduction to the brand,” she said to New York Magazine. “When this Miss Mellow product came out, I was excited to try it and curious how it would affect me. It calms me down; I feel a bit lighter after taking one. It’s like a CBD alternative; I’m not a CBD lover — it’s not my thing. Most CBD products are too strong for my very insane senses of smell and taste.”

Kaley Cuoco, 36, is enjoying some downtime in a swimsuit, and she’s not alone. 1. This is Her Favorite Workout

Kaley-CuocoKaley Cuoco/Instagram

“You know, I’m a yogi at heart — I love my hot yoga. Every time I take a break from it I get this urge to go back. It’s wonderfully meditative but keeps me so strong and fit. I also ride horses, which is wonderful for my brain and soul — and great exercise,” she told the Zoe Report. “I think some people are attracted to hot yoga because it’s easier to go through a greater range of motion when your muscles are warmer,” says John P. Porcari, Ph.D., head of the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, to ACE Fitness. “And I think some people like the challenge of exercising in a hotter environment because it allows them to work up a good sweat and feels like they are getting a better workout.”

2. She Likes Vegan Protein Powder

Kaley-Cuoco-2Kaley Cuoco/Instagram

“My sister taught me how to make these amazing smoothies. She found me these incredible vegan protein powders to put in them, along with tons of frozen fruit, and oat milk. It’s amazing how much stuff you can put in one drink and get all the nutrients you need for the day,” she told the Zoe Report. Vegan protein can be good for your gut. Inflammation caused by an imbalance in your gut can turn on your fat genes, leading you to gain more weight than someone eating the same amount of food, and spending the same amount of time in the gym. In a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition, researchers looked at overweight men and women who were put on a calorie-restrictive diet and given either a placebo or a probiotic supplement—basically, Navy SEALs reinforcements—for twelve weeks. At the end of the twelve weeks, women who had received the healthy gut bacteria showed significantly greater weight loss than those who had the placebo.

3. She Does Cupping

Kaley-Cuoco-1Kaley Cuoco/Instagram

“Cupping therapy involves heating the air inside a glass cup, which removes some of the air from the cup. The cup is then quickly placed on the skin, and the resulting vacuum pulls the skin partially into the cup, causing a bruise. Some people say they do experience a release in muscle tension afterwards, but there's not much research to prove one way or the other,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Switches Up Her Workouts

The John Ritter Foundation For Aortic Health Hosts An Evening From The Heart LA 2022 GalaAraya Doheny/Getty Images

"If I’m doing yoga, we’re doing it every day this week....Then I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I have to switch.’ Then I’m going crazy on SoulCycle....‘Okay, I have to switch.'" “According to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the ideal workout regimen balances cardiovascular work and strength training. Their guidelines recommend 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity each week or vigorous-intensity aerobic activity for a minimum of 20 minutes three days a week. Additionally, you should do strength training twice a week,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

5. She Drinks Coffee

Los Angeles Season 2 Premiere Of HBO Max Original Series "The Flight Attendant" - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

"Caffeine is particularly helpful for those who work out. Caffeine found in coffee has been shown to increase epinephrine levels in your blood as well as stimulate the breakdown of fat making free fatty acids available as fuel," says Kelli McGrane MS, RD, registered dietitian and Lose It! nutrition consultant, to our sister site Eat This, Not That!. "And these two factors together can help fuel and energize your workout."

1. Bethenny Frankel: She Doesn’t Diet

2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Bethenny Frankel, 52, has one big dietary secret – she doesn’t diet. "I’m old enough to know that fat-free was a craze, low-carb, eat your weight in meat and cheese was a phase, keto is a fad, the Zone was a moment, and so on .... so yes, I eat carbs. I eat everything, but I don’t binge," the Real Housewives star dished to Good Housekeeping. "What I eat has no consistency. Today, it was an egg white vegetable omelet with a baked potato and a few french fries for lunch. Sometimes, it's arugula with tomato, avocado, and Parmesan. Pureed soups are a mainstay for me."

2. Jennifer Lopez: No Alcohol, Healthy Diet, and “Harder and Smarter” Workouts

"I'm in the best shape of my life," Jennifer Lopez, 53, told InStyle in 2021. The star attributes her ageless beauty to a healthy diet, lots of water, and zero alcohol. She has also been extremely devoted to exercise. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she revealed. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. Supermodel Paulina Porizkova, 58, believes in aging gracefully. And while she didn’t start exercising until she was 40, she now works out almost daily. “I try to exercise at least 3-5 days a week. And you know what? I ... hate it,” she said in one of her workout videos. “I don’t like to sweat and huff and puff and hurt. If sitting on a couch, eating cake, drinking wine and reading did the same for me as exercise, there would be no contest. BUT. I have come to find out that ‘working out’ is that perfect little pill everyone is looking for. It makes you feel good, look good, good for your brain and body - a small miracle that has to be paid of by a little discomfort.” Her favorite workouts include dancing, rowing, and pilates.

4. Kelly Ripa: “I Work Out Seven Days a Week”

Variety's 2023 Power Of Women - ArrivalsDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Kelly Ripa, 52, never skips a workout "I work out seven days a week," she told In the Know. "And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I'm working or not. If I'm working, maybe I'll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness." She also avoids alcohol and maintains a super clean alkaline diet.

5. Jennifer Aniston: She Switches Up Her Workouts

Los Angeles Premiere Of Netflix's "Murder Mystery 2" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Jennifer Aniston, 54, recently revealed to Bustle that she toned down her super-aggressive “feel the burn” approach to exercise. “I work out about three to four times a week, which is basically all your body really needs. I’ll do Pvolve, and then to switch it up, sometimes I’ll do Pilates, or sometimes I’ll take a hike,” she said. She also focuses on recovery. I love an infrared sauna or an Epsom salt bath. Those are two really good for drawing that lactic acid out, and I’ll even use my hands or a little gua sha on my legs for the same purpose.”

6. Jennifer Garner: Daily Cardio Sessions

On Jennifer Garner’s 51st birthday earlier this year she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and revealed her secret to longevity. “What I do in the morning is I work out,” Garner said. “You’ve gotta do hard cardio to get that—to get yourself—I’m sorry, you do,” she said. “We need it in our bodies, but we need it in our brains. Your brain needs it!” she exclaimed. “You find something that actually makes you feel joyful while you’re doing it or it won’t work.”

7. Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara, 50, regularly jokes that she isn’t a fan of exercise. However, as she has gotten older she has incorporated weights into her routine. “The one thing that I have done that really has made a difference in my body is lifting weights. Not crazy weights. But, you know, like five pounds, seven pounds, 10 pounds. Twelve pounds is the maximum I can do. It keeps your muscles tight, and your skin tighter to you,” she explained to Health. “I’ve done Pilates and spinning, and I’ve tried all sorts of things—and they’re great.”

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
