1. Daily Meditation

Khan meditated every day. “I start my day with the practice of oil pulling with coconut oil even before I brush my teeth,” she told ZeeZest. “It has numerous health benefits. In the meantime, I check my phone. After brushing my teeth I splash some cold water on my face to freshen up and meditate. I try to fit some sort of workout right at the beginning of my day with yoga or gym—but it really depends on what I am feeling like.”

2. Pilates and Weight Lifting

Khan stays active through a variety of different workouts. “It is really important to keep your body active every day,” she told Lifestyle Asia. “Even during my pregnancy, I found ways to keep working like yoga, walking, light weight lifting, and Pilates. Apart from that, a healthy but sustainable diet is crucial. You should be able to enjoy your food and not fall into fad diets.”

3. Healthy Eating Mantra

Khan is passionate about the power of healthy food. “It is important to have a balanced and nutritious diet, not just for your skin but overall health,” she told ZeeZest. “I strongly recommend including more whole foods in your diet, cutting down on processed foods, sugary foods and drinks, and alcohol. Definitely eat more fruits and vegetables, combine fiber-rich foods with good sources of protein like eggs, dairy, nuts, and beans, complex carbohydrates like whole grains, and healthy fats. One should also eat small meals and control portion sizes.”

4. Family Time

Khan loves to wind down with quality family time in the fresh air. “I stay motivated through connecting with my friends, fans, and my family,” she told Lifestyle Asia. “It’s nice to take a walk with my kids or spend some time outside with my friends and family.”

5. That Yoga Glow

Khan swears by yoga’s benefits not just for health and wellness but for beauty, too. “I truly believe that your overall health really shows up on your face,” she told ZeeZest. “Yoga has been such a great way for me to work out because it brings you calm and peace. These things really help your skin glow too.”

Taapsee Pannu, the accomplished actress known for her powerful roles in films like Baby and Pink, recently took to Instagram to share a video of herself performing aerial yoga. Captioned, “Aerial shaerial …. N all that jazz…..,” the post showcases Pannu's dedication to staying fit and healthy through unique and challenging workouts. Alongside her love for yoga, Pannu follows a mindful approach to diet and strength training, ensuring she maintains her health and well-being. Here’s a look at some of the key practices that keep Taapsee in top form.

1. She Does Yoga

As you can see from her Instagram post, Pannu likes to do yoga to stay in shape. According to Harvard Health, yoga has a lot of benefits. “People who practice yoga and are mindful eaters are more in tune with their bodies. They may be more sensitive to hunger cues and feelings of fullness. Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years gained less weight during middle adulthood. People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Pannu opened up about her diet on Instagram. She says that she sought out help from a nutritionist to come up with her plan. “The diet that helped me deal with my bad metabolism, the diet that helped me get the body of an athlete ‘all naturally’, but most importantly the diet that bust every other myth about ‘dieting’. I eat 6 times a day and all my meals have CARBS! This is strictly as per my diet plan by the one and only Munmun Ganeriwal.”

3. She Gets Enough Protein

Pannu makes sure to get enough protein in her diet. She shared a recipe for a high-protein snack in this Instagram post. Pannu captioned it, “Not a Protein Bar kind of person. What works for me are laddoos approved by my superwoman @munmun.Ganeriwal Filled up with the goodness of besan, coconut, nuts, gond and ghee. She calls it the 'Protein Energy Balls' and I call it my 'healthy indulgence.’”

4. She Does Planks

Pannu does planks to stay in shape. She shared this photo of herself in a plank on Instagram. Pannu captioned the post, “So hold on baby. Cause lately I feel crazy. Oh you hold on.” Allina Health states that planks have a lot of benefits. “The plank is a simple, effective bodyweight exercise that strengthens your core, as well as muscles in your upper and lower body. Core muscles, which include your back and abdomen, help you maintain posture and balance as you stand, sit and move throughout the day.”

5. She Strength Trains

Pannu likes to strength train to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself doing pulldowns, which are a strength training exercise. Pannu captioned the post, “When they say you need to have a strong back…..just build one!” The Mayo Clinic states that strength training exercises are very beneficial. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

Read on to see 5 ways Sara Ali Khan stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. This is How She Got Into Fitness

“For me, it all started in New York. I weighed 96kg and had a year to go before I graduated. The transition from pizza to salad and from lethargy to cardio is how I kickstarted my fitness journey. I simply started eating healthy and began working out when in New York. There were so many different types of classes in that city, from functional training to boxing to cycling. But because I was so overweight at the start, [my routine] was more about cardio-heavy workouts like walking, cycling and hitting the treadmill—so that I could lose the weight before entering the intermediate forms of exercise,” she told Vogue.

2. Sara Ali Khan Has This Workout Trick

“The main thing for me is to get any form of workout at least six times a week,” she has said. “I recently discovered that on YouTube you can change the playback speed of songs. So now I can actually work out to pretty much any song depending on the pace of it. I can always make it 1.25, 1.5 or two times faster than the original track, so that makes it a lot easier,” Sara Ali Khan told Vogue.

3. She Does Vinyasa Yoga

Sara Ali Khan enjoys Vinyasa yoga. “The potential health benefits of yoga include:

  • Stress reduction. A number of studies have shown that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being.
  • Improved fitness. Practicing yoga may lead to improved balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength.
  • Management of chronic conditions. Yoga can help reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Yoga might also help alleviate chronic conditions, such as depression, pain, anxiety and insomnia,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Does Pilates

INDIA-ENTERTAINMENT-CINEMA-BOLLYWOODSUJIT JAISWAL/AFP via Getty Images

“Pilates-based exercises performed along with standard exercise programs were more effective for improving balance and quality of life than standard exercise programs alone,” write the authors of one study. “Pilates mat exercises contributed to increase in the strength and endurance of core muscles in post delivered women and even improve the fitness of women by improvement in cardiorespiratory fitness and decrease in the girth measurements,” says another study.

5. She Has Had PCOS

INDIA-ENTERTAINMENT-CINEMA-BOLLYWOOD-IIFASUJIT JAISWAL/AFP via Getty Images

Sara Ali Khan has talked about having PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) on Koffee With Karan. “I was 96 kgs. Actually, I had PCOS. I still do. And, because of that, I think I put on the amount of weight that I did. Because of that, there was also a hormone problem.” Other celebrities—from Leah Michele to Victoria Beckham—have had PCOS, and so has celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels. “PCOS – short for polycystic ovarian syndrome is a health condition that affects 1 in 10 women. Literally, it's the development of small fluid filled sacs or ‘cysts’ in the ovaries and it’s caused by a hormone imbalance. Too much androgenic hormones (testosterone, DHEA) and not enough estrogen. PCOS is also linked to insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes,” she once wrote. “Therefore, in my opinion, when it comes to PCOS the key is to look for the reasons your hormones are out of whack in the first place and address that! The top reasons are as follows –" bad "food and way too much of it. Not enough exercise.”

Bollywood star Soha Ali Khan is hitting the gym after a much-needed vacation in beautiful Goa. Khan, 46, shared video of herself wearing black pants and a white shirt, doing intense strength training exercises using weights and resistance equipment. “After a long lazy weekend in Goa going back to the gym was tough tough tough. And the word 'easy' is not in @maheshfitnessclub s dictionary 💪🏻 🏋️,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the actress stays fit and strong, inside and out.

Pilates and Yoga

Khan works out every day, and loves Pilates, yoga, and fast walking. “This not only keeps me invigorated and focused but also promotes blood circulation for a youthful glow,” she told NDTV. Deep breathing exercises help me stay grounded, and stress-reduction strategies like mindfulness and meditation assist me in managing responsibilities to my family and job. Recognizing the importance of sleep for overall health, I ensure to get seven to nine hours of sleep every night. This period of rest allows my body and skin to repair and regenerate.”

Healthy Snacks for Glowing Skin

Khan focuses on foods that give her clear, glowing skin. “As part of my on-the-go snacks, I include healthy options like almonds, berries, and fruits,” she told NDTV. “These choices contribute to both my skin health and overall well-being. Almonds, in particular, contain vitamin E, which has been shown to impart anti-aging properties. I also include hydrating fruits like oranges, cucumbers, and melons in my diet, and ensure to drink at least eight glasses of water daily to stay well-hydrated. Overall, a diet rich in nuts like almonds, whole grains, citrus fruits, and leafy greens promotes glowing skin.

Skincare Routine

Khan has a trusted skincare routine for beauty and wellness. “To achieve a hydrated look, I exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week using a gentle scrub and opt for a mild, moisturising cleanser to remove impurities without stripping natural oils from my skin,” she told NDTV. “For added moisture, I use a rich, nourishing cream that locks in hydration and acts as a protective barrier against harsh weather conditions. I also apply SPF 30 sunscreen to shield myself from the sun's harmful UV rays. I usually adjust my routine based on my skin's changing needs to ensure it remains nourished and protected throughout the year.”

Good Sleep

Beautiful,Young,Woman,Sleeping,In,Bed,At,NightShutterstock

Khan prioritizes good quality sleep every night. “Adequate sleep is essential for healthy physical, mental, and emotional functioning,” she told Times of India. “I make sure to get 6-7 hours of sleep each night, and I'm mindful of its quality by adopting small measures like avoiding screen time use at least 1 hour before bed and limiting caffeine intake after 6 pm. Being stressed can make it difficult to maintain a healthy weight. I remain vigilant about this and incorporate mindful practices like guided meditation and journaling.”

Holistic Health

Khan has a holistic approach to health and fitness. “My approach to health has been deeply influenced by my mother, whose commitment to fitness and wellness has always been a source of inspiration, and as a mother myself, I feel a strong responsibility to be a positive role model for my daughter, Innaya,” she told Times of India.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

She Tries to Get Enough Sleep

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

She Exercises in the Morning

“I’ve become gentler with myself,” she says of her approach to fitness, which has “definitely evolved” over the years. “I find that I can be gentler on my body and still get the benefits of a great workout,” she told Prevention. She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

She Hydrates

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Does Pilates, Spinning, Elliptical, and Running Workouts

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
