Karlie Kloss is a mom of two! The model and her husband Joshua Kushner recently welcomed their second child Elijah Jude and are also parents to Levi Joseph. Just weeks before the 31-year-old gave birth, she showed off how she was still active and working out by doing yoga in black workout pants with white stripes and a black sports bra. In a series of short videos and photos, Kloss did a variety of poses and looked beautiful, happy, and healthy. Here's how the supermodel stays in such great shape.

1. She Eats a Cookie Before a Workout

In 2020, Kloss answered fan questions for PEOPLE to promote her new health line of wheat and dairy-free cookies called Milk Bar, and revealed she eats one before working out. "Before a workout, I love a cookie! I go for one of my cookies for some energy. It’s surprising, there’s a lot of protein in the cookie because of the almonds that go into it. After a good workout, I love a good shake with almond milk and banana."

2. She Has a Clean Diet

New,York,,Ny,-,September,12,,2019:,Karlie,Kloss,AttendsShutterstock

It's no surprise that Kloss eats a well-balanced diet. "I’m pretty basic," she stated while answering fan questions for PEOPLE. "When I cook I’m really simple and I like to use fresh ingredients and not to do much to them. I love to get fresh fish, vegetables and fruits from Whole Foods and grill. Especially during the summer, I love to use my grill."

3. She Loves to Cook and Use Cool Kitchen Gadgets

Kloss enjoys cooking and shared her love of cool kitchen gadgets. "There are two things that I love. One is my KitchenAid stand mixer. My very first first paycheck with my modeling money went to my mixer, which I still have today! It’s seen a lot of cookies in its time. The second: My mom gave me this new gadget called the Spiralizer, which I’m excited to try. It basically turns zucchini into spaghetti."

4. She Spends Time Outdoors

Kloss makes self-care a priority and part of her wellness routine is being outdoors. "Spending quality time outside is a big part of my overall wellness and personal happiness,” she told Vogue. “This past year, I made it a goal to spend even more time outside. It’s amazing how much fresh air and sunshine can uplift your mood."

5. She Loves to Run

In an interview with Paper, Kloss explained how running is one of her go-to workouts. "Oh, I love running. For the last decade and a half of my life, I've been living out of a suitcase and traveling for my job. I love that aspect of my life, or at least the way it used to be. But for me, no matter where I am, I always have to go for a run because all you need is a pair of sneakers. It's just to get outside and go, just a mental drive to push yourself to do it."

Hawkins also trains clients at Barry’s and Gotham Gym, the New York City workout studio where Karlie frequents. "Pilates relies on isolated, controlled movement and has allowed me to build up my core and strengthen my legs and arms," she previously told T Magazine.

2. She Gets Her Vitamin D

Being outdoors is part of her self-care routine. “Spending quality time outside is a big part of my overall wellness and personal happiness,” she told Vogue. “This past year, I made it a goal to spend even more time outside. It’s amazing how much fresh air and sunshine can uplift your mood, and that was a driving force behind these pieces.”

3. She Runs

“Oh, I love running,” she told Paper in June 2021, revealing that she had just started it up again. “No matter where I am, I always have to go for a run because all you need is a pair of sneakers,” she continued. “It's just to get outside and go, just a mental drive to push yourself to do it. And with pregnancy and quarantine, it was hard to get outside and be able to keep up that normal part of my routine. I don't know why but it took a little extra mental motivation to lace the sneakers back up and get out there. It just felt so good.”

4. She Makes Sure to “Squeeze” Workouts In

“I am a girl on the go; I’m always running between flights, and then going to set and catching another flight and trying to squeeze a workout in,” Karlie recently told Harper’s Bazaar UK.

5. She Exercises to Feel Good

Karlie exercises “to feel strong and challenge my body to reach new goals. Movement feeds my mind and gives me energy throughout the day,” she told T magazine. "Excessive sitting is a fairly new problem in human history. Two hundred years ago, 90% of the world lived in agricultural communities. People sat for three to five hours per day but only to take breaks from working. Modern Americans sit for 13 to 15 hours per day," says the Mayo Clinic. "Here are a few ways to incorporate movement into your day:

  • Use a standing desk when possible.
  • Set a reminder to stand and move at least once per hour.
  • Take a walk over lunch.
  • Walk during phone or conference calls."

The 39-year-old believes the podcast will honor the show that she was a part of for 26 seasons, but isn't holding back on the secrets. Khloe Kardashian is getting back to working out. She recently shared a video on Instagram of herself working out with her trainer. Kardashian is seen using weights, doing push-ups, and using the leg press machine. She captioned the post, “I hurt myself and couldn’t workout the way I wanted to for almost 2 months. Working my way back little by little 💪🏽 a few more weeks and I’ll be there. Then- I have to stay ready so I don’t need to get ready.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Khloe Kardashian stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Kardashian shared her skincare secrets in an interview with Into The Gloss. “Every night, I wash my face with two different cleansers. One is the Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser. It’s for breakouts because it’s just so intense. Then I use one that’s all-natural from my dermatologist, Dr. Christie Kidd. It’s really soft, and I use that to cleanse, too. I use either baby oil or coconut oil to take off my makeup before though. After that, I use La Mer's Crème de La Mer every night and then lather my skin in Bio-Oil Specialist Moisturizer. Sometimes I combine the two to thin it out, but I tend to like a really heavy cream to sleep in.”

2. She Strength Trains

Kardashian is seen using weights in her Instagram video. The American Heart Association states that strength training and using weights has a lot of benefits. “Strengthening your muscles gives you the ability to perform everyday activities and helps protect your body from injury. Stronger muscles also lead to a boost in your metabolic rate, which means you’ll burn more calories even when your body is at rest.”

3. She Does Push-Ups

In her Instagram video, Kardashian is seen doing push-ups with weights. Harvard Health states that doing push-ups has a lot of benefits. “The push-up engages your body from top to bottom. It works several muscle groups at once: the arms, chest, abdomen (core), hips, and legs. Push-ups also can be modified as needed.”

4. She Does Leg Presses

Kardashian uses the leg press machine in her Instagram video. Asphalt Green states that the leg press machine has a lot of benefits. “The leg press works all of the lower body muscles, but it really emphasizes the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. One of the big benefits of a machine like the leg press is that it can build those larger muscles, and it’s easy to use. There are those who argue this machine is less effective at building overall strength than free weight exercises; the truth is, no matter what you’ll still get stronger while you’re using it.”

5. She Works With A Trainer

Kardashian, like many, works with a personal trainer to stay fit. Ace Fitness states that having a personal trainer has a lot of benefits. “Most of us work harder in the presence of others. Having a trainer by your side can provide the encouragement, energy and motivation you need to jumpstart your routine. A trainer can also help you set goals, create a plan to accomplish them and celebrate the day you reach them.”

Kate Hudson continues to wow her social media followers with her fabulous figure. The 42-year-old has been sharing a slew of workout videos on Instagram as of late, revealing the exact moves that help her achieve her strong, toned, and taut physique. However, on Wednesday she gave the world a glimpse at her “post-workout routine”—and the results were charming. Celebwell has the lowdown on how Hudson recovers post-workout and some of her other best workout tips, and the photos that prove they work. Read on—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. Her Post-Workout Ritual Involves...Chips?

“Rani doesn’t quite understand my post workout routine yet ,” Kate cheekily captioned the image of herself lounging on a couch in a bikini with her daughter feeding her chips. "I CANT !!!!!!" commented floral designer Eric Buterbaugh. "1st with your rocking body and 2nd with just how cute that Rani is, it’s all too much." "Lol," said Katie Couric. Fashion designer Brian Atwood responded with all heart emojis.

2. She Works Out Consistently

2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsAllen Berezovsky/Getty Images

One of Kate’s secrets to staying in shape is that she makes sure to work out nearly every day. Kate is incredibly fit because she makes exercise a priority, working out almost daily. She works out “at least 30 minutes a day, maybe five times a week,” she revealed in an interview with InStyle. “I make sure that I don't go a day without doing something for 30 minutes. I've been doing that since April and I've noticed enormous changes in my body."

3. She Alternates Workouts

Kate told InStyle that when it comes to exercise, she does “everything.” Alternating workouts is a great tactic to avoid workout fatigues. “I have to switch it up, I get so bored," she explained. "I've been loving the Obé app, they have 20-minute workouts that are really hard and if you do them with the proper form they're really effective. I love my yoga apps, like Glo, and I use Body by Simone and Tracy Anderson's apps too — there's nothing better than her abs workout. I love my Peloton. I love Pilates — that's always been my number one." Recently she has been sharing some of her Tracy Anderson Method moves on Instagram.

4. She Focuses on Her Core

Tom Ford AW20 Show - ArrivalsMike Coppola/FilmMagic

The key to Kate’s flat abs is abdominal workout. “I’m an ab [workout] fanatic,” she told Well + Good about her focus area, “and I hate [doing] them.” She often uses a stability ball to force her abs to work harder. “I’ve had a C-section, and I think any woman who has had a C-section knows how hard it is to re-engage that lower part of your abs,” she explained. “My C-section was 16 years ago, but if I go a few days without doing abs, my brain has a hard time re-engaging that area.”

5. She Does Things That Make Her “Feel Good”

2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

“I’ve always felt that wellness is about your quality of life,” she recently explained to Women's Health about her personal philosophy when it comes to fitness. “You need to know what makes you feel good. It’s about doing the things you love, eating the things you want to, exercising and not feeling like you need to [push yourself] for two hours in a hot room. You can just take a nice walk and still be healthy.”

6. She Loves Yoga

Serenity,And,Yoga,Practicing,At,Mountain,Range,meditationShutterstock

Kate is a longtime yogi. "It's about understanding your own individual likes, not fads," she once told SELF about her yoga practice, which includes transcendental meditation and Kundalini yoga. "Anything you do helps. You could sit there and not think of your mantra for your whole practice, but you're still benefiting.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout?
