Here are her lifestyle habits.

Kathy Griffin is parodying Britney Spears in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the comedian shows off her incredibly fit figure in a bathing suit while poking fun at the pop star, who recently danced with knives in a social media video. "You heard me, we've got knives, we've got spatulas…and we've got a Vegas show @themiragelv on October 6th!" she captioned the Instagram video. "Hi cuteness factory," commented actress Selma Blair. "Smokin hot body 🔥Yall she's in her 60s!!" added another follower. How does the 62-year-old manage to look half her age? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

Kathy understands the importance of hydration. She told People that she drinks a whopping "5 bottles of water a day." According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Kathy also starts her day with caffeine. She drinks 16 oz. coffee with a double Nespresso shot, two packets of sweetener and splash of skim milk, she told People. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

A "Smart" Diet

"I have to eat smart to fuel my body through the day and well into the night," Griffin told People about how she approaches dieting. For breakfast she has 1 cup Cheerios with skim milk and a sliced banana. A mid-morning snack will be a smoothie with ¼ cup blueberries, ¼ cup strawberries, handful of grapes, 1 cup orange juice and a Yakult probiotic shot, blended with ice. For lunch she has a Cobb salad with lettuce, one boneless, skinless chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, crispy bacon, one hard-boiled egg, ¼ cup pine nuts and 2 tsp. low-fat Caesar dressing on the side. Later in the afternoon she will have half an avocado drizzled with 1 tbsp. olive oil and sea salt, a piece of sugar-free gum, and a sugar-free Red Bull. Dinner is a well-done cheeseburger, diet cola, and side salad. And finally, for dessert she will enjoy a low-fat Fudgsicle.

Exercise

Kathy maintains that exercise is a great anti-aging tool. "You're going to make fun of me but I think just get out there and laugh, eat well and work out; it's that simple. Working out is important and so is laughter and eating well," she told Healthy Living. "I work out every day."

5

Little Processed Foods

While Kathy does "all food groups," there is one she tries to stay away from. "I really try to cut down on the processed food, but sometimes I'm bad. Having been through many diet phases, I think the one that they're really right about is processed foods. I'm an old school chocolate girl so I even like milk chocolate, even though dark chocolate is supposed to be better for you. I was raised on Whoppers and Hershey bars," she told Healthy Living.
