Katie Morton is enjoying spring in London in her workout clothes. In a new social media pos the YouTuber shows off her amazing body during a run in the UK. “Everyone loves London during Christmas time and I don’t blame them. But spring and summer?!! It’s a different kind of magic,” she writes, adding that Regent’s Park is “perfect for a run/walk..the rose garden is my fave.” She also notes that Bishops Park “has a small rose garden and it sits on the river with a run/walk trail.” How does she approach diet, fitness, and self care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hydration

Katie is all about hydration. “Hydration tip: When you’re done with your workout, fill up your water bottle and walk on the treadmill until it’s gone. It’s my favorite way to cool down before walking out,” she captioned a post. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

2. Hiking

Katie loves hiking. “What a weekend,” she captioned a post devoted to a hiking trip to Snowdon in Wales. “This really put the whole ‘focus on the step in front of you and not the whole mountain’ thing into perspective. I thoroughly enjoyed the grit of the hike. The top was just a nice reward. But the good part was all the laughing, slipping, climbing, and stopping to take in the scenery on the way.” According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

3. Pickleball

Katie enjoys a trendy new racquet sport: Pickleball. “More weekends like this !!” she captioned a post. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the racquet sport helps improve heart health, enhances muscle and bone strength, increases balance and coordination, boosts brain health, and lengthens lifespan.

4. Reading

Katie is a reader. She captioned a photo of herself at a bookstore: “my kindle is shaking right now. pls spam me with book recs.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

5. Protein Smoothie

Katie fuels her body with a Dark Chocolate Cherry Protein smoothie. “It’s got healthy fats, fiber, antioxidants, and protein. This is a new go-to snack for me. I’m still learning but this one has been a success ! & you can easily add oats to bulk it up and have it for breakfast,” she wrote in a post.

250ml unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop of dark chocolate protein powder

1/3 cup frozen cherries 🍒

1/2 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds

1 cup of frozen spinach

27g of protein in this bad boy.

6. Running

Katie enjoys running and has even completed a 10K marathon. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

1. She Does Yoga

“You’ll find yourself in Bulgaria, and you don’t know anyone, and they’ll say, ‘Well, we have a trainer who’s available, and he’s literally called The Punisher,’” Kate told Women's Health. The magazine says she “packs yoga workouts recorded by Jessica James and Mandy Ingber.” “I haven’t been injured while doing an action movie, and I think it’s partially from practicing yoga," she said.

2. She Does This Exercise

Kate recently revealed some of the workout moves responsible for her famously fit figure and also showed off her majorly impressive flexibility. She started out by executing a series of hanging leg raises, followed by knee raises on a pull-up bar. Next up, battle ropes! However, instead of getting just a hardcore arm workout in, the actress added a side lunge to the mix. To complete the workout, Kate’s helped her do some stretches, revealing just how flexible she is. “Do you have any bones? Omg,” singer Peter Frampton commented. “Damn, the only way I could get either of my legs that far back would be to amputate it and hold it back there with my hand,” joked one of her fans.

3. She Puts the Work In

One of Kate’s trainer’s Brad Siskind of Gunnar Peterson’s gym, revealed that Kate’s workouts are always this intense. "The whole hour is work," he told Women’s Health. She generally begins with a full-body workout composed of eight compound exercises, each working two muscle groups simultaneously—as can be evidenced in her latest workout video. Other moves include biceps curl as she squats, or situps with combination punches. Following the intense set she will complete 90 to 120 seconds of a cardio interval, like rowing or the VersaClimber, then repeat the entire circuit with heavier weights, added bands, or faster reps. Finally, following the 45 minute circuit workout, she’ll finish with a cardio interval using a rubber Inertia Wave, or one-leg pushes on a curved SkillMill treadmill. And, last but not least, she will do stretches.

4. Sometimes She Does “Two-a-Days”

"I wake up, eat something, and go straight to the gym," she told Women’s Health. "If I’m going to do cardio, I’ll do it later on in the day," she said.

5. Sometimes She Trampolines

National Television Awards 2021 - Red Carpet ArrivalsKarwai Tang/WireImage

Wiltshire tells The Sun that Price wasn’t looking for weight loss tricks. He says that she wanted to learn about fitness. “With Katie, it wasn’t a case of her trying to lose lots of weight,” he explained. “Instead, the aim was to improve her fitness and strength to torch fat and increase lean muscle as a means to get her really toned. Keywords for us were ‘strengthen and define’.”

3. She Combines Workouts

Hiit,,High,Intensity,Interval,Training,Workout,IndoorsShutterstock

Wiltshire revealed some of Price’s go-to workouts to The Sun. He says that he combined two different exercises to give her a well-rounded regime.“The focus was on weights, and we managed to squeeze in a couple of short High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sessions each week.”

4. She Takes Things Slow

In a vlog on her YouTube channel, Price admitted that she had let her fitness slip a bit. However, she says that she is taking things slow when it comes to fitness. “When you haven’t been to the gym for ages, it kills. And I hate every bit of it. I’m not going to kill myself the first day. But slowly, slowly… I’m not going to kill myself the first day.”

5. She Rides Horses

How does the working mom maintain her fit physique? Read on to see 5 of Katie Piper’s top diet and fitness tips for staying in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. Do Intermittent Fasting

London,,United,Kingdom,-,April,08,,2019:,Katie,Piper,AttendsShutterstock

Katie is a fan of intermittent fasting, only drinking water and coffee in the morning and only eating until 5 PM. “Eating within that window takes some adjusting to, but it forces structure in a really good way,” she told Women’s Health. “It stops me from having dinner at 9pm and then not being able to digest my food properly, then having a late night instead of an early start for training.”

2. Keep Exercise Simple But Effective

London,,United,Kingdom/,January,28,,2020:,Katie,Piper,Attends,TheShutterstock

"When I have the odd hour to myself, I use that time to focus on me, which I haven't felt guilty about and don't think you should too. I used some of that time to get help and motivation from a personal trainer, but my daily exercise regime has been focused around my home workouts from @thehealthyhappymumplan,” Katie explained in an Instagram post. “Simple, effective exercises you can do anywhere with no equipment. They have been perfect for those days that turn into night as they take no longer than 25 minutes."

3. Make Exercise a Daily Habit

“When I’m busy I tend to train two or three times a week, but I like to train up to four or five times if I can,” Katie told Best Fit. “My fitness routine has changed a bit since I became a mother. Before I would do a lot of road running and enter a lot of races for my charity. I’d also do weights at the gym. Now, when I have free time I tend to have my daughter with me, so I’ll train in my kitchen with a personal trainer.”

4. She Exercises for Her Health

London,,Uk.,October,29,,2018:,Katie,Piper,At,The,Pride Picture: Steve Vas/FeatureflashShutterstock

“When I was younger I trained for vanity reasons, so attempting to look good in clothes. I wanted to be fit and muscly, but that has changed a lot after everything that has happened,” Katie told Best Fit. “I now place a greater emphasis on my health. The stronger and fitter I am the quicker I feel I can bounce back from surgery. I honestly believe that if I wasn’t fit when I had my serious injuries I’m not sure if I would have pulled through the way I did.”

5. Do HIIT Workouts

Katie is a big proponent of HIIT workouts, as it requires very little equipment. “If I’m traveling with work I can do it in my hotel room. It also suits my personality; I love the explosiveness of it. I love burpees, mountain climbers, drips, TRX and star jumps. I do a bit of boxing as well, maybe 20 minutes to end a session where, for example, I’ll do upper cuts to failure, to get my heart going,” she told Best Fit.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout?
