Katrina Kaif in Workout Gear Says it's "Tiger Time" in Workout Video

Here are the details about her workout

Katrina Kaif is sharing a motivational workout message with her followers. In a new post, the British actress shows off her devotion to exercise, while revealing a few of her go-to workouts. "For me, when tiger time comes, it's about pushing my limits, testing my endurance, and finding that strength within. Someone once told me, 'Pain is just another sensation ' ….Don't be afraid of it ,don't run from the pain. Many days,I was so tired; it felt different this time…tougher. My body was sore, but I would tell myself to take it as a challenge and see how much I could face today. During training, we created an alter ego. So even if I was tired, SHE wasn't tired; she was going to war!….your mind will stop you much before your body does. Once you decide, commit and do it… no matter what! And the work is ALWAYS worth it. I think we were able to deliver even more dynamic action than before, and that's always our intention……To be better," she wrote. What are the workouts responsible for her amazing figure? Celebwell has the details.

"Exercise for me is something that not only physically but mentally is also very, very important for me. It releases endorphins, it keeps you feeling upbeat, happy and energetic," she said. She works out at the gym, does yoga, combat practice, dance, and pilates.

Kettlebell Squats

Squatting is a great exercise for your lower body and core. "Kettlebell squats are unique as the weight can be positioned away from your body in front of you, meaning your back also has to fire or to one side (unilaterally), requiring cross stabilization," explains USA Iron, a company that makes kettlebells. "Every time you squat, you use hundreds upon hundreds of big and small muscles, building your strength, losing fat and gaining confidence." Squats in general are a great move to add to your routine with a "multitude of benefits" says Gamble. They help "increase strength, size and power of quads (front part of legs), glutes (butt), hamstrings (back of legs), calves, adductors (inner thighs), tendons and ligaments, and lowers your chances of knee and ankle injuries."

Kickboxing

In one of the clips Katrina shows off her kickboxing moves. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

Stretching and Massage

Recovery is a key part of Katrina's approach to fitness. In the video she stretches and gets a neck massage from her trainer. "Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints," says Harvard Health. "Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage."

5

Hydration

Kaif makes sure to hydrate. "I drink a lot of water and avoid alcohol and sugar-rich, carbonated drinks that are dehydrating in a pressurized environment," she told Vogue. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
