Keke Palmer Shows Off Legs In Album Announcement On Instagram

The "One Of Them Days" star is returning to music.

Keke Palmer does it all. She acts, having recently starred in the film One Of Them Days. She’s the host of Password. She has her own podcast. And after years away, she’s returning to music. On June 20th, Keke is releasing her album, entitled Just Keke. She shared the album artwork on Instagram this week, where she showed off her impressive figure. Keke talked about the process of making the album and what it’s about in the caption, ending it with, “This project is about the shifts, the stretch, the surrender… the process of integration and the woman, the mother, the artist I’ve become through it all. With this visual album, I’m showing up in every frame: through satire, through parody, through camp, through truth. Sometimes I’m the object. Sometimes I’m the observer. And as always—the dramaturge.” Read on to learn 5 of Keke Palmer’s diet and exercise secrets.

She Uses IVs To Keep Herself Hydrated

One of Keke’s biggest wellness secrets is keeping herself hydrated. She revealed to Essence that she uses Liquid IV packets to help her out. “I can just use them throughout the day, throughout the week, especially before my training and after my training just to replenish myself. So they’re accessible, easy, tasty, and they don’t come with all the trash stuff that you don’t want.”

She Aims To Workout Twice A Day

Keke makes sure to workout each day. In fact, she aims to workout twice a day. “I like to have a good workout in my schedule,” she says to Essence. “Some of it is for work, obviously, but a lot of it to me, I try to treat myself almost like an athlete in a lot of ways. And so I try to work out in the morning and then maybe I’ll do a Pilates class or something else in the latter half of the day.”

She Uses Rituals

Keke tells Essence that having rituals helps her stick with her wellness routine. “I think sometimes you can be hard on yourself because you’ll be better at it for the first six months and then you might fall off the next six months. And so I’m patient with myself as well, but I think I’ve gotten really into a good groove of rituals too. I really take my time with my skin and washing my face and getting myself wound down for the night, and I take my vitamins and I have my ritual when I get up in the morning before my workout where I drink my water, put my Liquid I.V. in.”

She Weight Trains

Keke works with trainer, Corey Calliet, to get herself in shape. One thing he has her do is weight training. “A lot of women run away from weight training,” Corey said to E! News. “But when [Keke] comes to the gym, we do 20 minutes of warming up, then we go into functional training, such as doing a back and a leg workout.”

She Believes In Balance

When it comes to her diet, Keke believes in balance. “I want to eat and do certain things,” she tells People. “So I think it’s just about balancing, knowing at the end of the day, it’s not always going to be perfect. Yes, you could live your life very strict about every single little thing or you can just know that sometimes it’s going to be up, sometimes it’s going to be down. So I think I found my place somewhere in the middle.”
