Kesha In Two Piece Premieres “Boy Crazy”

Kesha has released some of the catchiest pop songs of all time. From “Tik Tok” to “JOYRIDE” to “Woman”, she’s responsible for some great lyrics. Kesha is gearing up to release a new album in July, and she recently debuted the song “Boy Crazy.” Kesha shared videos of some of her fans performing the song, and a photo of herself wearing a two-piece outfit. She captioned the post, “BOY CRAZY VIDS GO CRAZY I LUV U ANIMALS.” Here are 5 of Kesha’s wellness secrets.
She’s Kind To Herself
Kesha opened up about her mental health in an interview with SELF. “If I just am kinder to myself, everything seems way more manageable,” Kesha explains. “When I first came out, I had this bravado, and it seemed like I don’t give a fuck, which, there are elements of that, but I’m only human. After receiving so many comments about what was wrong with me, I started taking the meanest commentary as the truth and my higher power. I started internalizing it.”
She Embraces Natural Beauty
In addition to being a singer, Kesha has her own beauty line, Kesha Rose Beauty. She revealed to Glamour that she wanted to release a beauty line to inspire people’s natural looks. “A lot of times beauty goes hand in hand with looking like you’re photoshopped, or you’ve been run through four different filters. I wanted to put out my own line that challenges the societal standard of beauty and really embraces people’s uniqueness.”
She Wants To Be An Escape For People
Kesha tells Glamour that she wants her fans to see her as not just a role model, but an escape from their struggles. “I’m trying to think of the ways I can hopefully bring some amount of joy or escapism. I at least want to be entertaining for somebody out there if they’re feeling anxious or weird. I know I’m going through waves of all the different emotions, so to have some kind of escape, something to watch or listen to, has been super helpful for me.”
She Uses A Collagen Mask
Kesha shared some of her go-to skincare products with Glamour. “I do a collagen sheet mask almost every night,” she says. “Especially in quarantine because I have more time on my hands than I’ve had in the entirety of my life. I’ll use any brand, like the 99-cent ones with kitty faces on them, or I save the 111 Skin ones for before a red carpet.
She Gets Enough Sleep
Kesha tells SELF that one thing she is doing for her mental health is getting enough sleep. “I learned after my diagnosis that sleep is the most important thing. I took that for granted for, God, about 29, 30 years. I feel like I’m just playing catch-up on my teens and twenties, still. But I try to get as much sleep as possible, and I have to protect that fiercely.”
