She Cooks

Kourtney likes cooking healthy meals. She shared some of her favorite recipes on her app, as reported by People. “I would make broccoli rice or cauliflower rice to at least feel like I was eating some carbs,” she writes. “Then I would add protein, so I often ate grilled chicken and fish over broccoli rice, cauliflower rice or spaghetti squash. I mixed in roasted vegetables, fresh salads with homemade dressing, and smoothies made with avocados and bananas.”

She Works Out Every Day

Kourtney makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She tells E! News that she exercises every day. “I think I take time for myself now to work out every day, which I never did,” Kourtney says. “I just never made it a priority, and now it just makes me feel so much better—mentally and physically, just to really take that time. I know for my body, I need four to five days a week of working out.

She Does Squats

Kourtney likes to workout when she’s on vacation. One of her go-to travel exercises are squats. She tells E! News that she did them while on a trip to Egypt. “I did 200 chair squats to keep my hamstrings, glutes and quads toned. Just pretend you are about to sit in a chair and pop up into standing position while engaging your core.”

She Cuts Out Dairy & Gluten

Kourtney revealed to E! News that she and her family had testing done, and learned that they are sensitive to dairy and gluten. “I have always felt fine before when eating dairy and gluten, but I do believe that we have one life to live and I would like to live it feeling my best. I have noticed a great positive change in behavior with my children when we stick to a gluten-free and dairy-free diet.”

She Still Indulges

While Kourtney does eat a healthy diet, she does indulge once in a while. “I cheat twice a day with a little something sweet after lunch and dinner,” she wrote on her website, Poosh, as reported by ELLE. “Yes, indulging every once in a while is self-care. Whether you follow a strict diet or not, we all deserve days off. No guilt and no boundaries.”
