She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

She tells Vogue, “When you’re focused on skin care, I think people miss the steps that affect the skin so much, which is your mental health or your stress. [Meditation]… is calming to my skin… because it’s calming to my mind. If I can find 10 minutes once or even twice a week, my whole body, my digestion, my skin, my attitude, it’s all calmer.”

2. She Has A Skincare Routine

Bell shared her skincare routine with Refinery29 “I use a cleanser with it that’s from Instytutum that’s an oil-to-gel,” she says. “Again, it’s not a leaves-a-residue oily, but it clears everything without sucking all my moisture out. And then because I still have combination skin, I use the iS Clinical Active Serum for breakouts. It definitely hearkens back to the days of Seabreeze, which we put on our skin in high school and smelled like a medicine cabinet. And then I use Look Alive over it. That’s pretty much my regimen. The only place I don’t mind a residue is around my eyes. I want the thickest possible layer because I feel like the fine lines are getting the extra attention.”

3. She Takes Her Makeup Off

One of Bell’s skincare secrets is making sure to take her makeup off each night before going to bed. She tells Shape, "I never go to bed with makeup on. I double-cleanse at night and use a wipe before I wash my face. I like the natural wipes from Neutrogena and their pore-clarifying cleanser, which I use with my Clarisonic."

4. She Keeps Her Skin Moisturized

Bell shared some of her skincare secrets with Refinery29. She says that one of her biggest secrets is keeping her skin moisturized. “I remember when I was living in New York and going to the beauty supply store Ricky's on the weekends with all my friends from NYU, my skin would get so dry, so I would get Bag Balm. It’s like a Vaseline with an antiseptic in it — old women would slather it on at night. I remember using that and my face would have this crazy sheen and I would be like, ‘Nothing else blocks everything out and keeps me moisturized!’ I’ve always been on this kick to find something that could moisturize my skin in the way that I need, but not leave this greasy residue.”

5. She Uses SPF

Bell tells Refinery29 that she makes sure to protect her skin from the sun. “The foundation that I use from IT Cosmetics — that has a SPF 50 in it, so I’m getting a lot there. Thankfully so many people are putting SPF on because it’s obviously vital. I also have a baby care brand called Hello Bello and the SPF lotion is the best. So I’ll put Look Alive on and then the Hello Bello SPF and then makeup if I’m wearing it.”

One of Montag’s biggest beauty secrets is removing her makeup each night. “I’m going to use this Fumescent Pratt Daddy makeup remover,” she told Us Weekly. “So, what’s so great about this is that it is oil-based, but actually doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily, which I thought it would. Montag makes sure to keep her skin hydrated. “This is my Eternal Empress Hydrating Night Butter which is my face lotion I use nightly,” she told Us Weekly. “Camellia [the Japanese night blooming flower) and frankincense, which are in here help to stop wrinkles, to slow it down the lines. This actually has pearl powder in it too so it gives you that extra shine. And bees wax is amazing because it’s antiseptic and it also helps the absorption to slowly go in through the night.”

Montag has a busy life between her job and her family. For this reason, she has to find a work-life balance. “I don't want to compromise time with my son,” she told Paper Magazine. “So I definitely try to balance. It's different this time around, though. Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats .
