Kristin Johns is headed to the gym in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her incredible figure in a yellow workout top and green leggings prior to an exercise session. “Off to the gym,” she captioned the Instagram Stories image. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Here Is What She Eats in a Day

In a YouTube video about her diet and fitness habits, Kristin reveals what she eats in a day. For breakfast she starts with a Cliff Bar. “It’s kind of a sad breakfast,” she jokes. “It's not like a full meal, but it's good for when you're in a rush. For lunch she opts for something “a little more hearty,” a sweet potato bowl with peanut butter, honey, some ground cinnamon, some plain Greek yogurt, some coconut flakes, chia seeds ,and also some granola. For dinner she has grilled shrimp, veggies and rice.

2. Hydration

Kristin Johns.2Kristin Johns/Instagram

Kristin prioritizes hydration. She drinks multiple glasses of “lemon water” daily, she says. She adds that she tracks her water intake on an app, “which I love 'cause I'm so bad at drinking the right amount of water a day.” According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

3. Exercise for Mental Health

Kristin Johns.1Kristin Johns/Instagram

“Another thing that I have kind of discovered about myself and about working out and fitness and health is how important physical activity is not only for my physical health, I also think it's equally as important for my mental health because I remember when I moved to LA, the first month, I didn't really work out at all, or I was just doing something maybe like once every two weeks, just like a random workout,” she said in the same video. “And I was feeling so tired and sad and I was just feeling so blah, you know what I'm saying? And, once I started getting on a consistent workout routine, I just felt so much more energetic, so much happier, so much more driven to get things done. And I just think that that is the most important thing to remember about fitness is that yeah, it's great to look good and strong and feel healthy, but also just getting out and being active just boosts your mental health so much.”

4. Hiking

Kristin enjoys sweating al fresco. “My first favorite exercise is hiking. LA has amazing hiking trails and it's a great workout. It really gets your heart rate up,” Kristin says.

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

5. Various Workout Classes

Kristin is a big fan of using Class Plass, so she can mix up her workouts. “I usually like to go to spin classes, I go to Pilates, I do different circuit classes, boot camps, all these different things,” she says.

Katelyn Runck is a very successful influencer. She is known for her fitness and modeling content on her Instagram. Runck recently shared a set of photos on her account of herself modeling a set of black workout clothes. Her impressive figure was on full display.

She's Focused

Runck shares some of her wellness secrets on her fitness Instagram. In this post’s caption, she talked about the importance of focus. “What separates good from great in life, business or sports is your ability to focus. The ones who are the most disciplined and focused will achieve more than someone who suffers from worry and doubt. Once you make up your mind on something, go after it with all your effort. 🌟”

She Does Donkey Kicks

Runck doesn’t skip leg day. One thing she likes to do is donkey kicks. Runck shared this post on her fitness Instagram of herself doing donkey kicks with a resistance band. Runck captioned the post, “Starting my day with an at home band workout. Getting stronger with simple moves that pack a punch. 🥊 Booty training in full swing! What are your favorite exercises? 🍑”

She Eats Healthy

Runck makes sure to eat healthy. One thing she likes to eat are salads. Runck shared this video on her fitness Instagram of herself making a salad with chicken. She captioned it, “Thai-inspired Chicken Salad 🥑 - 2 cups shredded chicken - 1 avocado - 1 cup shredded carrots - 1 cup sliced cabbage - 1 bell pepper - 1 zucchini - 1 cup mushrooms - Asparagus - 1/4 cup fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup onion - 1/4 cup crushed peanuts & 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish. *Dressing* - 1/4 cup lemon juice - 2 tablespoons fish sauce - 2 tablespoons soy sauce - 1 tablespoon honey - minced garlic - 1 teaspoon grated ginger - 2 tablespoons peanut butter.”

She Works Hard

Runck makes sure to work hard. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Sweat + Sacrifice = Success. Put in the work like it’s all going to work out — and it will. Through the years, I have combined meditation, action, and weights into a single strength. I believe that when the body is strong, the mind thinks strong thoughts. Time spent away from the this makes me feel less whole. The resistance that you fight physically in the gym and the resistance that you fight in life can only build a strong character.”

She Does Sit-Ups

In this video on her fitness Instagram, Runck is seen doing sit-ups. The Cleveland Clinic states that sit-ups are very beneficial. “Sit ups are great for tightening your core. They strengthen and tone your rectus abdominus, transverse abdominus and oblique abdominal muscles as well as your neck muscles. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends three sets of 8 to 12 repetitions three times per week.”

Twilight star Ashley Greene is giving fans a glimpse at the highlights of her year so far. Greene, 36, shared several pictures of herself and family, including one of the star wearing black leggings and a purple workout top, looking fresh-faced and very toned. “Life lately,” she captioned the post, adding the word “commitment” for her workout selfie. Greene is now the co-owner of a gym, and her fitness routine has adapted to motherhood—here’s how the actress stays fit and full of energy.

1. Sweating For Good Headspace

Greene previously talked about her love for Rise Nation workouts in Los Angeles. “Mentally, for me, it’s so important. It really keeps me kind of sharp and focused,” she told Women’s Health. “I kind of alternate between doing the Versa classes and strength training and I’m waiting for the day that I can do them both in one day! It’s always that thing where, even when I don’t go to the gym, if I’m just sweating and being active – even if it’s not an intense session – I always feel so much better and things are much more organized in my head.”

2. Fueling Her Workouts

Toast,With,Peanut,Butter,,Banana,Slices,,Honey,And,Almond,FlakesShutterstock

Greene eats to fuel her workouts. “I used to have to have breakfast, but it was, like, yogurt,” she told Women’s Health. “Now I have to have two pieces of wholegrain toast and almond butter, honey and bananas on top. That would bother some people because it’s got a decent amount of fat, but you have to recognise that it’s fuel; it doesn’t matter if I’m putting calories and fat into my body – I need it to do the type of strength training that I like to do.”

3. Postpartum Fitness

Greene was careful about jumping back into her workout routine after welcoming daughter Kingsley Rainn in September 2022. "I wanted to feel fully back into my body… I really wanted to focus on making sure that I gave myself enough rest for everything to go back into place, and made sure that I wasn't trying to jump back into where I was and hurting myself," she told PEOPLE. "I feel like there's this idea that you are cleared after eight weeks and you can just jump back in, and that is so far from the case. I think it's really damaging to a lot of people.”

4. Learning Self-Confidence

Greene has learned to become comfortable and confident in her own skin. “I don't know that I've ever met someone who hasn't had some type of insecure moment or stage,” she told HuffPost. “You're growing and you're learning, and some days are good and some are bad. I'm definitely the most comfortable in my skin than I've ever been. I understand that a lot of things aren't the end of the world.”

5. Gym Owner

Greene and husband Paul Khory opened their own gym NexGen Fitness in Sherman Oaks, CA, and she is thrilled her daughter will grow up being familiar with the place. “She was just running around this place that holds so much importance to all of us,” she told PEOPLE. “She’ll grow up understanding and have such a toolbox for mental health and physical fitness and reproductive rights, and that’s such a cool thing to be able to give all that to your daughter. It’s much more fulfilling to put your name and your face behind something that you truly care about."

1. She Wants To Break Records

Pope is always pushing herself to do better. One thing she wants to do is break records. Pope talked about this in the caption of this weightlifting Instagram video. “To break the masters American Record - it would take getting back to my all time best snatch. Might take a very long time lol but do you think I could do it? 😂🤔@dynamicpursuit. I have training plans for all strength sports!! You can do the Weightlifting track and train with me. 🤗 Check out the details linked in my bio!”

2. She Focuses On Herself

Pope makes sure to focus on herself. Specifically, she focuses on things that she can control. Pope talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Less caption, more action. 😤 Had a big setback, but we change the plan, not the goal. Entering a ‘fxck your feelings’ era these next few weeks. Focus on what you can control. Do what you can, and do it well. #dymamicpursuit. Come train with me! 3. She Lifts Weights

Kristin Pope.3Kristin Pope/Instagram

In the first blurb’s Instagram video, Pope is seen lifting weights. She is also seen strength training in the previous link. ACE Fitness states that strength training and using weights has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

4. She Does Pulldowns

Pope shared this video on Instagram of herself doing different workouts in the gym. One thing she is seen doing is pulldowns. Piedmont states that doing these can be very beneficial. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

5. She Uses A Rowing Machine

Kristin Pope.5Kristin Pope/Instagram

In the previous blurb’s Instagram post, Pope is seen using a rowing machine. Piedmont reports that this is very beneficial. “Treadmills and elliptical machines get all the attention, but the rowing machine can give you one of the most efficient, effective workouts at the gym. Rowing not only torches major calories, it also tones the entire body.”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
