Kriti Sanon knows that staying fit doesn’t have to feel like a chore. The Bollywood star recently shared a video on Instagram rocking two-piece workout gear, proving that her fitness philosophy is all about keeping things fun and challenging. From TRX routines to hip thrusts, Sanon mixes up her workouts to stay motivated and strong. “It’s gotta be fun,” she says—and judging by her energy in the gym, she’s clearly found the perfect balance. Here’s how Sanon keeps herself in top shape with a variety of exercises that work both body and mind.

She Does TRX

Sanon does a lot of things to keep herself in shape. She is seen using TRX cables in her Instagram video. NIFS states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “If you have ever taken a class or done some of even the most basic exercises, you quickly see that core activation is one of the most important aspects. The workouts are simple yet very challenging, and you can easily complete a total-body workout only using one piece of equipment in 20 minutes.”

Strength Training

Sanon is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in her Instagram video. Strength training has a lot of health benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

Sanon is seen doing hip thrusts with a shoulder press in her Instagram video. Hip thrusts have a lot of benefits. Gymless says, “Hip thrusts are a controlled and powerful movement, mainly focusing on the glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and core. This exercise is vital for developing a stronger posterior chain, contributing to improved athletic performance, alleviating lower back pain, and enhancing overall physique. Considering that about 65 million Americans experience some form of back pain, hip thrusts are a great exercise to include in your routine.”

She Does Russian Twists

Another exercise that Sanon is seen doing in her Instagram video is Russian twists with a weight. Gymless says that this exercise is very beneficial. “Russian Twists are a great exercise that develops all parts of your core, especially the obliques, it also targets the shoulders and hips. This exercise involves rotating your torso from side-to-side while maintaining a sit up position with your feet off the ground. This rotational movement often occurs in sports, which makes it a popular exercise amongst athletes. It is speculated that this was developed during the Cold War by the former Soviet Union as a training exercise for the Russian Soldiers.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Sanon also shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen using a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness reports that stationary bike workouts have a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

2. She Exercises

I mainly go for weight training with exercises I can do on my own,” she added in another interview. “When there is no gym available, like when I was shooting for Heropanti in Patiala, I used to go for running and used a yoga mat in my room to do mat exercises.”

3. She Dances

Kriti also stays in shape by dancing. “I also love dancing and add it to my workouts 2-3 times a week. Dancing is a great form of workout because you use your whole body, it’s not monotonous at all. Preity Zinta is doing sit ups – in her two–piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Indian actress and entrepreneur, 49, flaunts her amazing figure during a sweat session. “It doesn’t matter if you are on holiday or at work, you have to make yourself better, stronger and healthier cuz if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you 👊 So don’t give up, be consistent & push your self. There is no better love than self love ❤️ A very Happy & Healthy 2025 to all of you,” she captioned the Instagram video with her followers. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Healthy Diet

Preity stresses the importance of a healthy diet. “It doesn't matter how much U exercise if U cannot control ur diet. Losing weight is 70% diet & 30% exercise,” she once wrote on X. “Eat smaller portions of food and at least six to seven small meals,” she added in another, per India Today. “Avoid too much starch and carbohydrates like white bread, pasta and rice. Go for whole wheat or whole grains and brown bread.” Also, it’s how you eat that matters. “Eat slowly and chew a lot. Also sit down and enjoy your meal. Eating fast means eating a lot with very little satisfaction.”

Drinking Lots of Water

Hydration is a big part of overall health, says Preity. “Drink lots of water,” she wrote on Twitter. “Drink at least two glasses of water when you wake up.” Fruit juice is not part of her hydration strategy. “Fruit juices have too much sugar in them. Too much sugar and salt are terrible for you,” she said. The Mayo Clinic explains that hydration helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Cheat Days for Diet Maintenance

Preity is an advocate of cheat days, claiming that they help her stay on track the rest of the time. “Eat whatever you want in one day so it's ur cheat day. This helps you to maintain your diet for the week,” she said on Twitter.

Pilates

Preity is also a fan of Pilates, which “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health,” per Mayo Clinic. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Dance Cardio

Preity is a fan of dancing. “Try dancing to your favorite song five times in a row...If you can bounce up and down five times in a row your cardio for the day is done,” she suggests. Dancing helps build strength and promote flexibility, and also may aid in weight loss and promote cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Exercising in the Morning

Preity does fasted workouts. “Try exercising in the morning on an empty stomach. If you cannot do any exercise then at least go for a walk. Brisk walk is amazing for you,” she suggested. Science agrees. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Bhumi Pednekar is breaking a sweat – in her two-piece workout ensemble. In a new social media post, the actress shows off her amazing body – including her flat abs – in exercise clothes during an intense gym session. “Post dengue I couldn’t even walk a Km. Add to this a rib and knee injury along with massive muscle loss. I was a Mess!!! It’s taken me 3 months to actually get back. Slow and steady,” she captioned the Instagram post. What does an expert think about her workout – and what other exercise and diet habits help keep her in shape? Celebwell has all the details.

1. A Great Full Body Workout, Says an Expert

Bhumi.Pednekar.1Bhumi Pednekar/Instagram

Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant explains that Bhumi is doing a full body workout “which is a good option if you are trying to focus on fat loss as well as some muscle gain,” she said. “For the most part these are pretty good exercises. However, she doesn’t recommend the one where she’s on her back, her feet are on the ball, and she’s tapping her heels on the ground alternating, “if you don’t know how to properly engage your core (which most people don’t) then you will feel your own back – and possibly injure it,” she says.

2. Devotion to Fitness

“I work really hard; it’s become an active part of my routine,” Bhumi told Vogue India. “If you want something, don't wait for a Monday to begin working for it. Just show up,” she added to India Today. “I just woke up each day and showed up at the gym. I decided to never break this resolve, so there were days when I would merely take a steam and sauna and potter around. But I was there, soaking in the energy. There's no dearth of excuses when the motivation is down. I knew I had to push past this.”

3. Running

“Running regularly and light exercises along with a balanced diet will help keep you active. Hence, I start my day with running followed by a healthy breakfast including foods like nuts, fruits that help maintain my energy levels and give me the boost of nutrition I need to go about my day," she revealed in another interview with Vogue India.

4. Exercise Is Her “Me Time”

“The hour or two I spend in the gym every morning is me time," Bhumi told Vogue. “It’s not just physical, it’s meditative too; I do a lot of thinking when I’m working out."

5. Counting Steps

“I make sure to dedicate an hour to exercise daily and have made a resolution to complete 7,000-8,000 steps in a day so I don’t feel lethargic. It may look difficult since you’re indoors all the time but it’s important to push yourself," she told Vogue.

1. She’s Comfortable With Her Body

Pandey is all about having confidence in herself and in her body. She talked about this in an interview. “I have always been confident of my physique and I never really paid attention to what people were saying about it,” Pandey revealed. “I loved whichever phase I was in physically and never really put pressure on myself to be a certain body type.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Indian,Mutter,Paneer,Dish,With,Spices,On,The,Wooden,BackgroundShutterstock

Pandey opened up about her diet in the same interview. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy. “I have mostly been a healthy eater almost all my life. I was always into sports and I started swimming since the 5th standard. I was into a lot of sports actually like badminton, volleyball and others. I was quite an outdoor kind of a kid. So yes, I have been a fitness freak ever since.”

3. She Dances

Starring in the film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar meant that Pandey had to do a lot of dancing. She said in an interview that this helped her get in shape. “For this particular weight loss, I got on a meal plan and luckily I was doing a film which required an immense amount of dance rehearsals that added to my weight loss. So, there is nothing specific that I did to shed my weight but I feel the meal plan worked really well. I was dancing for around four hours daily and that’s a lot of cardio which helped me a lot.”

4. She’s Passionate

Pandey has a lot of passion for what she does. She talked about this in the same interview. “I’m an actor who invests a lot of energy and passion into every project that I pick. I want my performances to speak for itself and I would push myself into doing anything to deliver a performance that will hopefully be noticed and talked about. 5. She Works Out On A Regular Basis

Pandey shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Women Fitness. When it comes to working out, Pandey tries to do so as often as she can. “I try working out every day,” she says. “But when I miss out I still try to go for a walk or do 10-minute of surya namaskar. Certain days I might just take my dogs for a run. The key is to stay active as much as you can that is very important and to enjoy doing so.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."

She captioned the post, “Switching it up!💥New year, new workout adventure! Thanks @laurajquinn for once again putting me through my paces! 🤣 We’ve come a long way from ballet to @alo! 🩰”

She Does Pilates

McNamara is seen doing Pilates in her Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “The benefits of Pilates are both therapeutic and preventive. It may also help you establish a healthy baseline, so that when those injuries or issues arise, you’re able to bounce back faster.”

She Boxes

McNamara shared some of the things she did to stay in shape for Shadowhunters in an interview with Women’s Health. One thing she did was box. “It builds the shape of muscles I needed to look like a fighter, and it's just plain fun," she says.” Boxing has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Regular physical activity, including boxing, can lower your blood pressure, your cholesterol and your risk of heart disease.”

Piedmont says that leg workouts are extremely important. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. While on Shadowhunters, McNamara did a lot of HIIT. "In order to do the fight scenes, I needed a lot of upper body strength because I would be holding weapons all day," she says to Women’s Health. "High intensity interval training turned out to be the perfect thing for me. I was able to keep up my cardio stamina and build upon that so I could do the fight scenes, which are basically just sprints."

I think that can go for any kind of physical goal that someone has—half the battle is the mental battle.”
