She says that she likes doing workouts that tone her body. “For a toned figure, bodyweight training and strength training without weights is great. My workout routine also includes yoga that was introduced to me by my mother.

2. She Limits Her Snacks To Healthy Options

Kamra tells PinkVilla that she only eats healthy snacks, and sometimes won’t snack at all. “When fasting, I don’t feel like snacking too much, because I usually have my meal so late,” she explained. “Then maybe I’ll have a coffee or work out because it is already dinner time. I usually eat fruit or munch on stuff like makhna or khakra sometimes. I try to avoid refined flour and refined sugar as much as I can unless it’s a holiday or a cheat day! My in-between snacks include energy bars, nuts, quinoa puffs, healthy bhel, etc.

3. She Starts Her Day With Lemon Water & Coffee

Kamra says to PinkVilla that she doesn’t eat a meal in the morning. “Every morning I drink some water with lemon juice in it. When I am shooting, then I have coffee, only black coffee. Breakfast doesn’t feature in my life most of the times. So I take a lot of liquids and straight away have my lunch. I sometimes do keto with my brother. So sometimes intermittent fasting or keto. Sometimes I end up having breakfast dishes for lunch or dinner.”

4. She Golfs

Kamra has taken up golf. She shared this video on Instagram of herself taking a swing at the driving range. Kamra captioned the post, “At least I tried.” Better Health reports that golf has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

5. She Cooks

Kamra loves to cook. She shared some of her favorite recipes with PinkVilla. “I recently made vegetable stew in coconut milk with cheese and millet rice with lots of curry leaves and mustard, etc. and it turned out to be pretty good! Another dish that I can cook is spinach ricotta mushroom pasta.”

Indian actress Kritika Kamra is ready for her workout—but needs to make sure she gets an energy boost first. Kamra, 35, is currently in London, UK, and is keeping busy by exploring the beautiful city and its many parks. Kamra is happy to spend time with her friends and family, focusing on healthy habits and her career. "I have JOMO now (Joy Of Missing Out),” she told Hindustan Times. “I‘m very happy spending time with myself and with my close ones who really matter. I’ll take quality time and a good meal over a big event or the best party in town any day. I try my best to not miss a workout. I follow a time restricted pattern of eating and sleep eight hours, although still very late at night. That’s something I’m still working on.”

Kamra loves yoga, dancing, and kickboxing to stay fit and active. “I love outdoor activities a lot. Whenever I have time, I do cardio, but I hate working out in machines,” she told India Forums. “[Beauty and fitness] go hand in hand. You can only notice this when you keep yourself fit. If you are fit, your skin starts to glow automatically and your hair becomes nicer.”

Kamra is careful to protect her privacy, choosing not to share information about who she is dating. "Yes, it’s a deliberate choice to maintain privacy,” she told Hindustan Times. “I understand that I’m a public figure and hence, my work and life will be scrutinized. Kamra is a strong proponent for balance when it comes to diet, and realistic goals. “I am completely a foodie. But yes, I try my level best to limit myself while eating,” she told India Forums. “ I eat a lot of cheese and a lot of chocolates. My policy is that we have only one life and we should eat to live. Having said that, I will also like to add that excess eating is also not good.”

Kamra is thrilled about the response to her web series Bambai Meri Jaan. “This show means a lot to me, I’m glad those who watched it have liked it and are eagerly waiting for the next season,” she told Hindustan Times. “I have a lot to offer as an actor and a lot to learn as well and I’m always on the lookout for bigger, better opportunities. When Chandna signed on to appear in Naagin 5, she had to get in shape. She shared her process to Times Of India. "I had to say bye-bye to all the happy weight and bring a transformation because my character needed that,” she explained. “If you are playing a naagin you need to look sexy, fit and someone who can easily do the stunts. The previous seasons' actresses, who played naagins, had already set a bar so high, that it was important to look different and set a new trend."

2. She Did Her Own Stunts

In Naagin 5, Chandna did a lot of her own stunts. "When I signed up for the show, I did not have time to go to the gym, because we were shooting for 12-13 hours,” she tells Times Of India. “Naagin is not a show that requires you to be at one place throughout the day. The show had a fast pace, we had to run around a lot because of outdoor scenes and do a lot of stunts and action scenes. This helped me burn my calories, so I was burning good calories on the sets, shooting for 12-13 hours."

Chandna opened up about her diet to Times Of India. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet. "I used to eat bhakhri, rice, veggies, chicken and fish. I also consumed jowar bhakhris. I kept away from junk food but I had my 'cheat' days when I used to go out and eat pav bhaji and pizza. The idea was to be physically active and run around a lot, eat in small proportions than totally deprive yourself."

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. McNamara tells Women’s Health that she doesn’t skip leg day. "I know most people hate leg day, but I kinda love it. It's what makes me feel strongest." Piedmont says that leg workouts are extremely important. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups. Improve your balance.”

She Does HIIT

While on Shadowhunters, McNamara did a lot of HIIT. "In order to do the fight scenes, I needed a lot of upper body strength because I would be holding weapons all day," she says to Women’s Health. "High intensity interval training turned out to be the perfect thing for me. I was able to keep up my cardio stamina and build upon that so I could do the fight scenes, which are basically just sprints."

She Consistent

McNamara tells Women’s Health that she makes sure to stay consistent with her workouts. “There were days when I was tired. There were days when the last thing I wanted to do was pick up a weight...but I just had to physically get myself there—to take a deep breath and remember why I was doing it and why I was there. I think that can go for any kind of physical goal that someone has—half the battle is the mental battle.”
