2. She Uses Sunblock

Richards shared some of her favorite products with E! News. She says that she makes sure to use sunblock. "I initially just covered my face [with sunblock] for vanity purposes, not wanting to age,” she said. “I had a scare years ago where they thought I had melanoma, but there was a mistake in the lab... Now, it's for all reasons, to protect from skin cancer and anti-aging. I cannot live without this product. Everybody I know uses this and loves this. You can put your makeup on top of it. I like the one with a little bit of a tint to it. This is the best product. Such a great product. I cannot say enough about that."

3. She Eats Healthy

Richards makes sure to eat a healthy diet, and shared her favorite options with Us Weekly. "Breakfast is either a protein shake with a banana or oatmeal with berries. For a snack, I like apples and peanut butter or string cheese. I eat raw nuts when I want something crunchy or a healthy popcorn. Lunch is chicken or grilled fish on salad. At night, I eat a lot of salmon, halibut, chicken paillard with arugula and lemon. I like eating at home so I know what’s going into my food."

4. She’s Sober

Richards talked about why she got sober in an interview. "After two glasses of wine, I’d wake up and feel [like I was] dragging. Like, “I’m going to skip my workout today. I’m tired, and I feel like having In-N-Out.’ It was a domino effect. I was never a big drinker, so you’d think, how much of a difference could it make? But it really does."

5. She’s Prioritizing Wellness

Richards talked about deciding to prioritize wellness in an interview with Us Weekly. "I had a breast reduction [in 2022], and I wasn’t able to work out for eight weeks. At the time, I was on vacation in Europe, eating pasta and drinking wine and cocktails. By the end of the trip, I didn’t recognize myself. I had also just lost my best friend to suicide, and I wasn’t taking care of myself. And [it was] making me feel more depressed. So after we left, I said, 'That’s it. I’m not going to have bad carbs — no sugar, no pasta, no bread, no alcohol. And I’m going to work out every single day.'”

Many fans maintain that Kyle is in the best shape of her life at 54. In a recent interview with The Feast, per Bravo, she maintained she was amping up her commitment to fitness. She revealed that she was working out every single day of the week but Sunday.

2. She Has Workout Buddies

Kyle keeps herself accountable by enlisting workout buddies. She recently shared a photo of herself and a group of pals, including Teddi Mellencamp, at a workout class. “The girls… we all have different goals, different dreams, but the one thing we have in common is that we want to see each other succeed. That’s friendship but it’s also accountability. Because there’s always going to be a time where you want to give up, want to make excuses, want to quit. But accountability won’t let you. Accountability also means posting this pic despite so many things. Which one of us are you: the one taking the pic, the one who’s like ‘why are we taking a pic?’, the one who’s always finding her angle, or the one who’s showing off her tree pose?” she captioned the snap

3. She Bikes

Kyle loves cycling. “Went mountain bike riding through one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen,” she captioned this photo. She also loves SoulCycle classes and riding her Peloton. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

4. She Hikes

Kyle also loves hitting the trails. "I love hiking, going on walks with my friends on steep hills, inclines. I just like to be outdoors mainly," she told E! News. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

5. She Uses Exercise to Treat Stress

Kyle RichardsKyle Richards/Instagram

Kyle loves the mental health benefits of exercise. "The links between depression, anxiety and exercise aren't entirely clear — but working out and other forms of physical activity can definitely ease symptoms of depression or anxiety and make you feel better. Exercise may also help keep depression and anxiety from coming back once you're feeling better," says the Mayo Clinic. “For me, if I want to feel good and, you know, if I’m stressed, it’s exercise, exercise, exercise,” Kyle told US Weekly.

Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss is very much still in her “era of healing,” based on her Instagram posts. Leviss, 29, shared a video of herself wearing black workout gear, playing with crystal sound bowls while out in nature. “Retreating to the forest to play with @glowcrystalbowls Very cutesy, very demure. 🌲🧚🏼✨🦌,” she captioned the post. Leviss has changed her lifestyle significantly since leaving the Bravo reality show—here’s what her health and wellness regimen looks like these days.

1. Living a Spiritual Life

Leviss says leaving Los Angeles for Arizona has changed her life. “The activities that I participate in every day, like yoga, going for long walks, being out in nature, is huge for me,” she told Us Weekly. “There’s a spirituality piece to that too. Before it was craving being in nature and now that I’ve stepped away from Hollywood, there’s this freeing feeling when I am able to immerse myself in nature and just breathe and appreciate everything that’s around me.”

2. Staying Active

Leviss likes to keep herself busy with physical activities. "I've been diving right into hot yoga," she told E! News. "I'm doing Pilates, hiking, just staying really active, so that my mind doesn't go spinning."

3. Rachel Goes Rogue

Leviss started a podcast called Rachel Goes Rogue to share her side of the story and heal. "Just sharing what I've learned about myself through this journey," she told E! News. "And hopefully helping other people who have been through abusive relationships, toxic friend groups, that can relate to what I'm talking about. I feel like it's given me my power back. And I just feel empowered doing it."

4. Era of Healing

Leviss checked herself into a mental health facility for three months to focus on her wellbeing after the Vanderpump Rules cheating scandal came to light. “The dark times were so dark, and it felt like there wasn’t a way out for the longest time. I [decided] I need[ed] to start making better decisions,” she told Us Weekly. “It took time to integrate everything that I learned into my real life, but I feel like I’m finally now able to start living for me. Although I’m still in therapy and make it a point to continue to work on myself, there’s a newfound level of freedom — it’s an era of healing.”

5. No Alcohol

Leviss no longer drinks alcohol. “I committed to a year of not drinking alcohol and I accomplished that and I’m just continuing going this route because I realized that I don’t need alcohol,” she told Us Weekly. “Also surrounding myself with positive people. Those are the real life-changing lifestyle choices that I’ve made. I don’t think L.A. is all bad, but being in certain environments could bring out the worst in a person. So now when I go visit Santa Monica, I have new friends and there’s a common theme [such as] spirituality and not drinking. It’s a much healthier social circle that I’m in in L.A.”

Kelly Ripa is showing off her “Big Nick Energy” in her bathing suit bottoms. In a social media snap shared over the holidays, the television personality flaunts her slender legs in a t-shirt and swimsuit bottoms while rocking a festive t-shirt with her husband, Mark Consuelos. “Big Nick Energy 🎅 Christmas 2023,” she captioned the hilarious Instagram snap. How does the 53-year-old approach health and wellness, managing to look half her age? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. Daily Workouts

Kelly exercises every day that ends in Y. “I work out seven days a week. And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I’m working or not,” she told Yahoo’s In the Know. “If I’m working, maybe I’ll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness.”

2. Dancing

Kelly’s workout of choice is dance-inspired. “I think that energy begets energy,” she told ITK. “There are people that say, ‘You must hate working out!’ It’s going to be so hard to push your way through [with that attitude], and I love working out. But it’s like developing a love for anything: You have to really practice it to love it. And, so, I found that years ago I really figured out that the more energy I put into the gym or left on the dance floor, the more energy came back to me.” In one of her most recent posts she shared her dance workout moves from one of her favorite workouts, AKT. “Dancing through 2022,” she captioned it.

3. Avoid Alcohol

No,Alcohol,Sign,Is,On,A,Wooden,Table,In,TheShutterstock

Kelly quit drinking in 2017, maintaining that it contributes to her "healthy lifestyle.” "We did both quit drinking almost three years ago. Not that we were sitting around drinking day and night, but I think that there is something about like clean living—maybe that's what did it. Maybe that's the difference,” she told Parade about her and Mark’s joint decision to put down the bottle.

4. High-Alkaline, Anti-Inflammatory Diet

Best,High,Alkaline,Foods.,Vegan,,Alkaline,Diet,ConceptShutterstock

Kelly follows a high-alkaline diet, telling People that the low-acid meal plan is “responsible for [her] not being in pain” as it is anti-inflammatory. “I actually eat much more on this cleanse than I do in my actual life, but it’s what you eat and how you eat it.”

5. SoulCycle

In addition to dancing four times a week Kelly also does SoulCycle twice, she told People. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

6. Plant Focused Diet

While Kelly isn’t strictly plant-based when it comes to her diet, she keeps animal products to a minimum. “I like to drink coffee. I occasionally will have fish. The alkaline diet is primarily a vegan diet, but I like cream in my coffee. I like to have a glass of wine. So I don’t adhere to it strictly, but when I do a cleanse, it will be seven days, and then I go back to my normal life. But my normal life, like I said, is not that different than the alkaline cleanse,” she told People.

Lindsey Vonn is getting her sweat on – and flaunting her fit figure. In a new social media post the skier shows off her amazing body in a two-piece workout look while executing a workout at the gym. “Back on my @redbull grind and man, it feels good! Getting as strong as I can… think I might have a plan for the knee, but first I need to get,” she captioned the Instagram Reel. What exercises are helping her get strong and what other health habits does she practice? Here is everything you need to know.

1. Here Is Her Latest Workout

According to Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant, Lindsey’s workout includes:

  • Single leg hip thrust
  • Standing abduction machine (can be done with a band)
  • Lying hamstring curl
  • Inverted row
  • *Back extension
  • *Side plank hip adduction
  • TRX push up

2. She’s Training to Be “Lean and Fit” with Weight Training

Lindsey admits she has gotten "a lot leaner" after retiring from skiing. "I used to do things that were so sport specific, so I had to be bigger," she told New York Post's Alexa magazine. "But everyone is like, 'Oh my God, you're in the best shape of your life.' It's like — yes and no. I'm not training for my sport anymore, I am training to be lean and fit,” she said. She has dramatically decreased her body fat with the help of trainer Gunnar Peterson. "Different training. Different diet. Crazy!" Her workouts are no joke, and she trains three to four times a week. "Whatever you like doing is what you should be doing," she told Women’s Health. Her workouts are a combo of strength and weight training, using a lot of weighted balls, battle ropes, lifts, squats. You can check out another one of her workouts here

3. She Also Does Two Cardio Workouts a Week

Lindsey supplements her weight and strength training with two cardio workouts a week, but you won’t find her running on the treadmill. "I have a doctor's note that says I should never run again in my life, and I'm okay with that," she says. Instead she cycles or surfs.

4. She Also Walks After Dinner

"I have to go outside and walk the glucose off with my dog," Lindsey says about her post-dinner strolls. According to science, you should too. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

5. Her Diet Is “Clean”

Fresh,Blueberries,And,Kiwi,Slices,On,A,Wooden,Blue,Background,Shutterstock

Lindsey no longer follows her “ski season” diet of “a lot of protein and carbs,” she told People. Phil Goglia revamped her diet when she retired, and it now involves a lot of water, eating clean food, and timing her meals. “I try not to eat too much in the morning before I work out,” she told Women’s Health. Post-workout Lindsey eats “egg white omelets with broccoli, chicken, and pepper, and stuff like that.” For lunch, she might have chicken or salmon with kale or cabbage. For dinner, her plate is filled with a mix of protein and veggies – like chicken salad with avocado or a zucchini pasta with bolognese meat sauce. Almonds, kiwis, and blueberries are go-to snacks. Overall she tries to eat a lot of plant-based foods. “Listen, the kitchen can be intimidating to anyone. But I’m here to tell you: You can do it. And with the new year, let’s do it better, together. I’ve got 14 places to help you start eating more plant-based foods,” she captioned a recent post, suggesting the Just Egg cookbook to her followers.

Emily Elizabeth is heating up Hawaii – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the model and influencer shows off her amazing figure in a two-piece while on the beaches of the tropical paradise. “Hawaii >> 🌺🌈,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Simply Beautiful ❤️🏖❤,” commented one of her followers. “🔥😍perfect,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Hydration

Emily prioritizes hydration. Not only does she drink water, but also electrolyte enhanced fruit. “Fresh coconut,” she captioned a photo from Bora Bora. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Coffee

Emily enjoys the perks of caffeine. Here she is drinking a cup of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Snowboarding

While you can usually find Emily in the tropics, sometimes she heads over to the mountains for winter sports. In one of her photos she goes snowboarding. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

Snorkeling

While on vacation Emily throws on a mask and fin and goes snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Walking

She also takes her dog for walks. Here she is strolling in Central Park with her pooch. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Emma McQuaid is prepping for her CrossFit competition – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the athlete flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece exercise set while training. “8 weeks to my first Hyrox Sim 🏃♀️Looking forward to upping my run volume over the next 2 months to see how I can fair out before entering my first proper race later in the year. It’s no secret I don’t really enjoy running, I never have but I’m excited to see if I can turn that around this year,” she captioned the Instagram photos. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Is Consistent

If you want to improve your Olympics lifts, Emma suggests maintaining consistency. “Be consistent in your training, it’s vital you continually train all the lifts, not just the ones you like. I used to hate the full snatch and always power snatched everything. Recently though its become the opposite, I love full snatch and need to focus again on my power snatch. Always attack your weaknesses,” she told Boxrox.

Focus on Mobility

When it comes to improving gymnastic skills, Emma says to focus on mobility. “Sometimes is not just learning the skill, it’s having the mobility to be able to do it. I have struggled with handstand walks for over a year now and have practised more than people realise, but recently found out it’s my thoracic and shoulder mobility holding me back. So I have worked on my mobility and I’ve already seen improvements in my handstand walks. I’d also say people need to work the basics more, develop a strong foundation to build the high level movements on,” Emma told Boxrox.

Hydration

Drinking enough water and getting rest is an important component of health. “Eat healthy, drink plenty of water and sleep well is a good recipe for success,” she told Coach Web. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Meal Prep

While Emma doesn’t meal prep, she has her food prepared for her. “All my food is supplied from a local company called Fuel Farm. I usually eat 4-5 times a day. Just depends what my training volume is like that day, I also live on Battle Oats bars between sessions, a great snack that keeps me going and doesn’t fill me up,” she says.

Balanced Diet

Healthy,And,Unhealthy,Food,Background,From,Fruits,And,Vegetables,VsShutterstock

Emma maintains a balanced diet. “I personally think a lot of athletes in CrossFit under eat. Avoiding carbs or limiting them isn’t a good idea when you train at high intensity. I eat some junk everyday because I find it helps my performance, a 6 pack isn’t going to help me win so it doesn’t bother me, fuelling my body and maintaining the intensity in training is what will help me win. I’ve focused on timing my intake of sugar and it’s only made me better,” she told Boxrox.

Krissy Cela in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "8 Weeks of Lifting"
Getty images

Krissy Cela is a fitness trainer on the Evolve You app and influencer. Recently, she has been documenting her process of losing pregnancy weight on Instagram. In a recent post, Cela revealed that she had been consistently weight training. She captioned it, “8 weeks of lifting, not depriving, recovering and sticking to an actual PLAN! Not doing random workouts. All my programs are on the @evolveyou app. I'm currently on the strong program and absolutely loving it! But there are home workouts too. Use code KRISSY for money off! (own brand).”

She Strength Trains

Cela strength trains to keep herself in shape. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She’s Consistent

Cela revealed in the caption of her Instagram post that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness. “So yeah… just keep lifting some heavy iron, don’t really listen to people who tell you not to unless you have an injury of some sort. Eat your fats, carbs and protein and get your steps in. Keep it simple and remember a cute gym set will make you lift heavier 😂Proud of myself because it really wasn’t easy showing up daily ngl.”

She Accepts Herself

Cela talked about her journey to accept herself in the caption of this Instagram post. “When I was growing up, all I ever wanted was to be pretty. I hated the way I looked and felt out of place, especially as the only girl in school with upper lip hair and a foreign background. I resented that my Albanian parents imposed cultural norms that limited what I could wear and how I could express myself. Now, in my 30s, I’ve learned to embrace my roots while also appreciating the many unique qualities I bring to the table that go beyond mere appearances.
