Here are her top diet and fitness habits.

1

Strength and Weight Training

La La regularly trains with Kirk Meyers, founder of The Dogpound. “I come here almost every single day and Kirk, the owner, has become one of my closest friends and a real inspiration in my life for getting myself together and focusing on myself,” she told E! “I definitely have lost weight. I definitely feel better about myself, more toned, have more energy.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and build lean muscle mass, and increase calorie burn. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Boxing and Cycling

La La also enjoys other activities. “I love boxing as well, I love doing things outdoors … I still love my bike because it’s here at the house, so anytime I get up and I want to just get 30 minutes in or 45 minutes in and I can do that,” she told People. “I positioned my bike outside my bedroom door because I want to walk past it every single day.”

Healthy Diet

La La maintains consistency with her diet. “With looking right, it’s mostly about your eating,” she told HollywoodLife. “And, I feel like a lot of us struggle with that. I’m trying to stay consistent in making better choices when it comes to food. I can’t say I’m always great at it, but I try to keep that in mind. You can’t work your a-s off in the gym and then just throw it all away by eating horrible.”

4

Hydration

La La makes sure to drink enough water. “I’m always staying hydrated,” she told HollywoodLife. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

5

Self-Love

La La stresses the importance of self-love. “My dad has always said that you have to love yourself from the inside. I used to be like, ‘Yeah, yeah, OK.’ But now I know it’s a really powerful statement. If you walk into a room with confidence, other people feed off that energy. That confidence starts from the inside, and people see it from the outside,” she told Health.

6

Meditation

La La gets her zen on. “Once you start doing it, you realize that you have to find ways to recharge and rejuvenate—even if it’s just taking five minutes to meditate,” she told Health in April 2021 about the zen practice that helps her maintain her mental health. “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality
