Lainey Wilson In Bikini Celebrates “America’s Birthday” In The Bahamas

Lainey Wilson went to the Bahamas with her family to celebrate the 4th of July. She just shared some highlights from her trip on Instagram. In them, Lainey is seen swimming with pigs, taking a boat ride, enjoying cocktails, and enjoying plates of fruit. She is also seen in a leopard print and a pink floral bikini. Lainey captioned the post, “Celebrated America’s birthday with my fam in the Bahamas. No, the first pic is not my sister! 🌴🐷🐠”
She Swims
As you can see from her Instagram post, Lainey likes to swim to keep herself in shape. Better Health says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water. Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness.”
She Loves Watermelon
Lainey enjoys a plate of watermelon slices in her Instagram post. According to the Mayo Clinic, watermelon is a very healthy food, as it contains Vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as potassium. “Vitamin A is important for skin and eye health. Vitamin B6 helps your body break down the protein you eat, and is also important for the immune system and nerve function. Vitamin C helps strengthen the immune system and aids in the absorption of iron. Potassium is helpful in lowering blood pressure and is important for nerve function as well.”
She Still Indulges
Lainey opened up about her diet in an interview with Delish. She says that while she tries to eat healthily, she does believe in indulging a little bit each day. “Even if it’s just a little piece of candy, I’ve got to have my dark chocolate,” she says. “At some point in time, I will have a bite of chocolate every single day.”
She’s Active
In an Instagram video, Lainey opened up about what lead to her weight loss. “If I have lost weight, it’s because I am working hard and playing hour and a half shows and running around every night of my life,” she says. “And to be honest me losing weight or gaining weight ain’t got anything to do with my music.”
She Meal Preps
Lainey tells Delish that she likes to prepare healthy foods to eat on tour. “I will say I feel like I’m becoming a little bit more prepared than I used to be,” she says. “I really do enjoy meal prepping and having things handy, because I feel like when you don’t have those things handy, that’s when you mess up and that’s when you eat something that makes you feel bad. It’s really hard to make sure that you’re disciplined enough to do that. I try my best that I possibly can.”
