Larsa Pippen is in full relaxation mode while on vacation at the beach. Pippen, 49, shared a picture of herself lying on a yacht in a tiny black bikini, against a background of blue skies and sparkling ocean water. “Monday motivation 🖤,” she captioned the post. “That is a lot of motivation there for sure, wow,” a fan commented. How does she stay so fit and full of energy? Here are 5 ways the TV personality takes care of her health and fitness.

1. Diet and Workouts

Pippen emphasizes the importance of both diet and fitness for health and wellbeing. “I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness,” she says. “I believe that your body is your temple and you must nurture it to get the most mileage from it. I receive tons of correspondence from mothers inquiring about my workout regimen. After having four children, I know how hard it is to get in shape. I was inspired to create a platform, Fitness 15, to help busy mothers achieve results without having to spend hours at the gym. Half of it is exercise, the other half is dieting. Eat right and teach your kids about healthy and clean eating! It all begins in the kitchen.”

2. Squats Every Day

Pippen swears by squats to get her curvy physique. “I do squats almost every day,” she says. “You don’t need weights for that. You’re just [using] your own body weight. I do 40 squats a set. If you incorporate weights into that then you wouldn’t have to do so many. You would just do 12-15 reps… I feel like for women, if you have strong legs, when you wear a dress you look so sexy. Not only that, it changes the way you walk… It just changes the way you move.”

3. Realistic Goals

Word,Goal,On,White,Office,Desk,Background,With,Motivational,Wordcloud.Shutterstock

Pippen advises that anyone wanting to get into shape be sensible about their goals and give themselves time for ultimate success. “Make sure the goals you set are realistic,” she says. “Oftentimes, we set ourselves up for disappointment by setting the bar too high. Start small and slowly increase your milestones, this way you have something to work towards.”

4. Wellness Mantra

Pippen’s wellness mantra is simple but effective—it’s all about healthy habits and a good lifestyle. “When I feel my best, I’m working out consistently, I’m eating clean, I’m spending great time with my kids, I’m rocking my jewelry and I’m just doing the most basic things,” she says. “I feel like the most basic things I’ve learned make me the happiest.”

5. Pandemic Weight Gain

Pippen gained a few pounds during the pandemic lockdowns, and couldn’t care less. “Me and my kids work out together every day,” she says. “We cook. We love to bake. My daughter loves to bake, so literally, I gained a few pounds baking with her every day. Lately I’m like, ‘Oh my God, who cares?’ I just have to live my best life. We’re baking, we’re working out together, we watch movies together. I feel like we’ve watched everything on TV. We’re gonna start making our own movies sooner or later.”

Larsa Pippen, star of The Real Housewives of Miami and socialite, has built a reputation as someone who values both wellness and fun. With her return to the show’s rebooted fourth season and an appearance on The Traitors, she remains a prominent figure in reality TV. Outside of the spotlight, Pippen’s Instagram offers a glimpse into her fitness routine, lifestyle choices, and self-care practices. In September, she shared new photos on Instagram, captioned “Xo,” showing her fans that staying healthy and balanced is a key part of her life. Whether it’s her love for cooking or her daily commitment to squats, Pippen makes fitness and wellness an integral part of her daily routine.

1. She Doesn’t Diet

Pippen shared some of her diet secrets in an interview with HollywoodLife. She says that she doesn’t believe in going on a restrictive or fad diet. “I don’t think you can sustain that keto diet or the Atkins Diet. Personally, I don’t feel like those work. For me it’s more it’s more about eating healthy and portion control. That’s the only thing that lasts forever.”

2. She Cooks

Mock,Up,For,Weekly,Menu.,Variety,Of,Vegetables,,Fruits,AndShutterstock

Pippen revealed to HollywoodLife that she loves to cook to help her eat healthy. “I’m really big on prepping what you eat for the whole week,” she says. “I cook every day for my kids. I have a menu that I draw up [for] all week so I know what we’re gonna eat. If you’re prepared like that you tend to eat healthier, as opposed to not knowing what you’re gonna eat and then you end up eating junk. For instance, today, I made oatmeal with a little bit of brown sugar, raisins and walnuts for breakfast. I have salmon, broccoli and brown rice that I’m going to make for lunch. And then for dinner I’ll have a salad with chicken breast. I love to eat.”

3. She Goes To The Beach

Living in Miami means that Pippen spends a lot of time at the beach. She shares a lot of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a beach day. According to Piedmont, going to the beach is very beneficial. “Angela Buttimer, MS, NCC, RYT, LPC, a licensed psychotherapist at Cancer Wellness at Piedmont, shares the mind-body benefits of time by the water and how you can reap the benefits at home all year long… ‘The beach can also offer psychological and spiritual metaphors for things we want in our lives that sometimes escape us: spaciousness, playfulness and a sense that time has slowed down,” she says. ‘People want these things in their lives, but don’t feel they can connect with them.’”

4. She Loves Squats

Pippen tells HollywoodLife that she likes to do squats each day. She also broke down her typical squat routine in the interview. “I do squats almost every day,” Pippen said. “You don’t need weights for that. You’re just [using] your own body weight. I do 40 squats a set. If you incorporate weights into that then you wouldn’t have to do so many. You would just do 12-15 reps.”

5. She Enjoys Working Out

Pippen shared some of her fitness secrets with HollywoodLife. She says that she enjoys working out. “For me fitness is a lifestyle,” she says. “I really love doing it. It helps your mind, your body, and the balance it gives you is really important in life… A lot of times we get lost and we start focusing on other people or other things that are not necessarily good for you and this is the one thing that you can do for yourself and make time for yourself.”

Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet

“I love green juices and smoothies. Sometimes I’ll put some protein powder in the morning—I feel like the mix of vegetables, and vitamins and stuff that’s in them, really gives me a lot of energy in the morning. I love BBQ food—my ultimate cheat is a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and macaroni and cheese from this great place in LA,” she told Men’s Fitness.

Strength Training

Ratchford also lifts weights. “Initially, I made the mistake that a lot of girls do and I was only doing cardio. I just really didn’t see too much change in my body. I’ve been listening to my girlfriends who are in great shape and they say you have to do weight training, you have to go in and do squats. That’s my new thing—I’ve been doing some resistance training, circuit training,” she told Men’s Fitness. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills
