Laura Henshaw is in-between marathons. In a new social media post the fitness influencer shows off her amazing body in a sports bra and shorts while jogging. “Ok the post marathon blues are NO joke. I don’t want to maintain my full marathon load at the moment so have decided to do our KICRUN half marathon program so I have a goal to work towards and structure for my training that helps me sooo much with motivation ❤️. I am so grateful I felt so good for my first long run day back,” she writes. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Laura starts her day with an espresso, she told Elle. The Cleveland Clinic explains that there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depres

She Eats Healthy Most of the Time

Moderation is Laura’s mantra “I don't usually have a 'cheat day', as I don't deprive myself of anything and believe in everything in moderation,” Laura told Elle. “I follow the 80/20 philosophy and eat well most of the time but a few times a week if I am craving a treat—I have it. Sometimes there is nothing better than hot chips.”

Here's What She Eats in a Day

“For breakfast, usually some type of smoothie. I am swapping between a green smoothie and our Keep It Cleaner Berry Good Smoothie at the moment,” she told Elle. “At lunch, I usually have a big salad with lean protein or fish (tuna usually).” For a snack? “I always need something sweet at 3pm, so I'll have one our Keep it Cleaner Choc Cherry Protein Bars as a snack.” Finally, “I always mix up what I have for dinner. At the moment I am loving our Mexican bowls or baked fish with veggies.”

No Crash Diets

Laura just says no to crash diets. “I try to stay healthy and balanced most of the time so I don't have to ever 'diet' or restrict myself. If I do have something coming up I just make sure I am eating well and moving my body as much as I can,” she told Elle.

She Runs

“My favorite way to move my body is to run. I run about 3-4 times a week. A run always clears my mind—it is my form of meditation,” she told Elle. Running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” says Mayo Clinic.

Lauren Dannenmiller is keeping up with her fitness – in her two-piece workout gear. The influencer and bikini competitor recently shared a video of herself running, showcasing her dedication to staying in shape for her competition shows. Dressed in pale-colored athletic shorts and a matching sports bra, Dannenmiller revealed that she’s been hitting her fitness goals hard, running three times a week. From taking time to recover to indulging in cold plunges, Dannenmiller's approach to fitness is well-rounded, with a balance between intense workouts and self-care. Here’s how she stays bikini-ready for her competition shows and maintains her fit physique. Sporting pale-colored athletic shorts and a matching sports bra, Dannenmiller shared that she’s been giving up on her fitness goals.

1. She Runs Three Times a Week

Lauren Dannenmille.1Lauren Dannenmille/Instagram

“I have been running three times a week for a few months now.” Running is one of the most popular ways to stay active, but also provides several health benefits. According to Advent Health, running helps in the following ways:

-Reduces your risk of heart disease

-Improves Your Knee, Back, and Joint Health

-Reduces Your Risk of Cancer

-Improves Your Sleep

2. She Focuses on Herself

Lauren Dannenmille.2Lauren Dannenmille/Instagram

Dannenmiller took a long break from YouTube and explained she took time off to concentrate on coaching and travel a bit, which threw off her routine, but how she’s focusing on herself. She said she was “focused on helping others” and not taking time for herself. However, she took “10 full days to be on top of everything” and got back into her workout and sleep routine.

3. She Takes Time to Recover

Lauren Dannenmille.3Lauren Dannenmille/Instagram

“Took some time off from heavy lifting to recover post show,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Now since it's been 6 weeks I’m ready to gain weight and get stonger🍑 let’s grow!” According to University Hospitals, recovery time after a workout is vital for your body. “The whole concept of exercise is to stress or challenge your body and then let it recover. As you stress your body, it should adapt. As long as you do that repetitively and recover in between, you’re going to improve strength and fitness,” says University Hospitals pediatric sports medicine specialist Laura Goldberg, MD. “But if you don’t allow recovery, you’ll increase the risk of injury and decrease immune function, putting you at risk of illness.”

4. She Does Cold Plunges

Lauren Dannenmille.4Lauren Dannenmille/Instagram

“Best way to start the day 🔥❄️ Infrared Sauna / Cold Plunge,” she wrote in an Instagram video. Cold plunges have become a trendy wellness thing to do, but there are a lot of health benefits. According to the Mayo Clinic, “ It helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day.”

5. She Enjoys the Outdors

Lauren Dannenmille.5Lauren Dannenmille/Instagram

From hiking to lounging around a lake, Dannenmiller enjoys spending time outside. “Miss playing around in the NC creek,” she wrote in a post while showing off her toned body in a two-piece red, barely there bikini. Being outside has a calming effect and is good for mental well-being, but it’s also great for staying in shape. According to UC Davis, “Getting out into nature can lead us to want to walk, bike, hike, or kayak more often. People typically engage in regular physical activity when they're in nature. So, stepping outside can help you keep a healthy weight or even lose weight by increasing activity levels.”

Michelle Jenneke, the dynamic hurdler known for her spirited warm-up dance, has faced an unexpected hurdle of her own. Following her inspiring return to the Olympics in 2024, Jenneke encountered an injury requiring surgery. But last month, she shared a hopeful update on Instagram, captioned simply, “Back walking.” Her dedication to training shines through even amid recovery, as she revealed to Body & Soul: “I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on.” From intense track workouts to a balanced, protein-packed diet, Jenneke’s holistic approach to wellness keeps her grounded and resilient, showing fans that setbacks are just another obstacle on the track of life.

1. She Trains Three Times A Week

Jenneke shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Body & Soul. In it, she shared what her training sessions on the track look like. Jenneke makes sure to do her training on a regular basis. “I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on. You do some warm up, a hurdle session, and then a sprint session after that.”

2. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Jenneke also shared what her gym days look like in her Body & Soul interview. She says that she does a lot of different things to stay fit. “It’s a lot of heavy weights there, plus full body exercises and quite a bit of plyometric [exercises]. I start with heavy weights, and then I’ll do some lighter functional circuit, towards the end. All up, that takes an hour and a half to two hours… and sometimes when I finish a session I just lie on the ground. I think to myself, ‘it’s just gym, why is it so hard?”

3. She Eats Healthy

Jenneke shared her diet in her Body & Soul interview. “I actually eat a lot,” she said. “I talk to my sister, and she says she has three meals a day – sometimes two if she’s busy – and I’m like ‘I have to eat six times a day! “It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I’ve got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I’ll have cereal generally before I go out and train. Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it’s got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yoghurt or bacon and eggs. Lunch is pretty basic – usually I just have a sandwich – and then for dinner I like to keep it simple. I have either some pasta or some rice with meat and veggies.”

4. She Pushes Herself

Jenneke makes sure to push herself when she trains, and that means having the right mindset and attitude toward it. She talked about the approach she takes in an interview with Kate Conklin. “I fall a lot in practice. Like, every training session. I’m always trying to push myself to go faster and do better and get as close the hurtle as I can, and when you do that, you hit them… I really like it when I fall over in training…It shows me that I’m doing the right thing.”

5. She Enjoys Her Sport

Jenneke doesn’t like to let her sport take over her life, and she makes sure to still enjoy it. "I think it is quite a big commitment, but if you think about it like that it's really going to wear you down and you're going to think about it being a big commitment and how it's taking over your life and that's not the way I like to look at it," Jenneke said on the Big Sports Breakfast. "I like to look at it as the fact that I compete in the hurdles and I train all this time because I love it so I go into all those sessions just thinking, 'It's not the hard work, I'm just going out and doing what I love.' I don't really let that weigh on me, I just try to enjoy myself."

Lindsey Vonn is getting her sweat on – and flaunting her fit figure. In a new social media post the skier shows off her amazing body in a two-piece workout look while executing a workout at the gym. “Back on my @redbull grind and man, it feels good! Getting as strong as I can… think I might have a plan for the knee, but first I need to get,” she captioned the Instagram Reel. What exercises are helping her get strong and what other health habits does she practice? Here is everything you need to know.

1. Here Is Her Latest Workout

According to Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant, Lindsey’s workout includes:

  • Single leg hip thrust
  • Standing abduction machine (can be done with a band)
  • Lying hamstring curl
  • Inverted row
  • *Back extension
  • *Side plank hip adduction
  • TRX push up

2. She’s Training to Be “Lean and Fit” with Weight Training

Lindsey admits she has gotten "a lot leaner" after retiring from skiing. "I used to do things that were so sport specific, so I had to be bigger," she told New York Post's Alexa magazine. "But everyone is like, 'Oh my God, you're in the best shape of your life.' It's like — yes and no. I'm not training for my sport anymore, I am training to be lean and fit,” she said. She has dramatically decreased her body fat with the help of trainer Gunnar Peterson. "Different training. Different diet. Crazy!" Her workouts are no joke, and she trains three to four times a week. "Whatever you like doing is what you should be doing," she told Women’s Health. Her workouts are a combo of strength and weight training, using a lot of weighted balls, battle ropes, lifts, squats. You can check out another one of her workouts here

3. She Also Does Two Cardio Workouts a Week

Lindsey supplements her weight and strength training with two cardio workouts a week, but you won’t find her running on the treadmill. "I have a doctor's note that says I should never run again in my life, and I'm okay with that," she says. Instead she cycles or surfs.

4. She Also Walks After Dinner

"I have to go outside and walk the glucose off with my dog," Lindsey says about her post-dinner strolls. According to science, you should too. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

5. Her Diet Is “Clean”

Fresh,Blueberries,And,Kiwi,Slices,On,A,Wooden,Blue,Background,Shutterstock

Lindsey no longer follows her “ski season” diet of “a lot of protein and carbs,” she told People. Phil Goglia revamped her diet when she retired, and it now involves a lot of water, eating clean food, and timing her meals. “I try not to eat too much in the morning before I work out,” she told Women’s Health. Post-workout Lindsey eats “egg white omelets with broccoli, chicken, and pepper, and stuff like that.” For lunch, she might have chicken or salmon with kale or cabbage. For dinner, her plate is filled with a mix of protein and veggies – like chicken salad with avocado or a zucchini pasta with bolognese meat sauce. Almonds, kiwis, and blueberries are go-to snacks. Overall she tries to eat a lot of plant-based foods. “Listen, the kitchen can be intimidating to anyone. But I’m here to tell you: You can do it. And with the new year, let’s do it better, together. I’ve got 14 places to help you start eating more plant-based foods,” she captioned a recent post, suggesting the Just Egg cookbook to her followers.

It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life

  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones

  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. “I love green juices and smoothies. Sometimes I’ll put some protein powder in the morning—I feel like the mix of vegetables, and vitamins and stuff that’s in them, really gives me a lot of energy in the morning. I love BBQ food—my ultimate cheat is a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and macaroni and cheese from this great place in LA,” she told Men’s Fitness.

Ratchford also lifts weights. “Initially, I made the mistake that a lot of girls do and I was only doing cardio. I just really didn’t see too much change in my body. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions
