Lilia Schneider is swinging away – in her golf outfit. In a new social media post the college golfer and influencer, rumored to be dating Bryson DeChambeau, shows off her amazing body and impressive swing and opens up about her health journey. “After a long journey and finally being diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome I underwent surgery to remove my first rib in hopes of being able to get back to golf. Now on the road to recovery!” she captioned the social media post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Golf
Lilia plays college golf, and most of her posts are from the green. “Trying to get out and play as much as I can right now!” she captioned a recent post. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

Lilia keeps herself fit by hitting the gym. One of her favorite workouts is cycling on a stationary bike – in the sauna! The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
3. Walking
Lilia also stays in shape by walking her dog and also going for walks on the beach. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
4. Education
Lilia is more than just a pretty face. In addition to playing golf and being a social media influencer, she is also a college student. She is currently studying at Marian University in Indianapolis.
5. Battling Insecurities
Lilia maintains that she shares lots of videos and photos of herself to boosts self-esteem. "I used to be very insecure and hate my body,” she said in a TikTok clip in 2021. “So I decided to do something about it.”
