Lindsay Lohan Says This Veggie Is a Must for Glowing Skin

Lindsay Lohan is known for her radiant skin. The Freaky Friday and Freakier Friday star has many fans wondering what her skincare secrets are, as she appears to look younger as the years pass. The actress divulged some of them in a recent interview with Vanity Fair while getting ready for the magazine's Oscar Party. In fact, there's one particular vegetable Lindsay Lohan swears by for a healthy, glowing complexion.
She Says Beets Are "Super Good for Your Skin"
During her recent Vanity Fair interview, Lohan revealed that beets are one of her biggest skincare secrets.
"I love to fill up on beets because they're super good for your skin and antioxidants," she said. The actress enjoys eating fresh salads with beets in them.
"I have a big salad with beets, and grilled chicken, and cucumber," Lohan added. "It's really good."
Another healthy staple in Lohan's diet? Chia seeds with lemon and water.
Research shows that beets are chock-full of skincare benefits; they help decrease inflammation and are chock-full of antioxidants. Antioxidants can deter or postpone certain types of cell damage by offsetting oxidative stress.

She's All About Skincare
It's apparent that Lohan shows her skin TLC. Diet is a key part of a successful skincare regimen, along with using just the right products to treat her personal beauty needs.
According to Allure, some of Lohan's go-to products include Avène Redness Expert Soothing Moisturizing Concentrated Cream, Avène Tolérance Control Skin Recovery, and Peter Thomas Roth eye patches. In addition, Lohan stays on top of her appointments with dermatologist Dr. Radmila Lukian.

She Does Pilates
Lohan implements healthy practices into other aspects of her life, including her fitness routine.
In an interview with Flaunt, the actress shared that she takes daily Pilates classes. "I'm up with my son in the mornings, I do breakfast with him, go to my Pilates, come home for lunch, and go to the park, the same things that any normal mom would do in their daily life," she said.
Pilates is a great full-body workout. According to research, this form of exercise can enhance flexibility, posture, and balance.

She Has a Positive Outlook on Life
Lohan has an incredibly positive outlook on life. She told Flaunt that she's learned to have zero regrets.
"My life every day is a new day," she explained. "I live looking forward towards the future. I live without regrets. I think everything that has happened, I've learned from, and I'm grateful for that. Because you know, everything is a lesson in life. It's better not just to toss those lessons aside because you never know… you always want to learn from anything in the past."
