Lindsey Morgan is an actress known for her parts in The 100 and Walker. When it comes to taking care of her physical and mental health, staying hydrated is a huge motivator for Lindsey. She said on Instagram that she’s “rediscovering my Zen this summer with @drinkzenwtr. How do you find yours? Movement & hydration are key pillars of maintaining my mental health & wellness.” She’s not only working on herself, but actively motivating others to do the same. She puts a lot of emphasis on her mental and physical health. Staying hydrated is only the beginning of her self-care routine.


1. She prioritizes staying hydrated

She has @drinkzenwtr in hand, staying hydrated throughout her day. Zenwtr is “pure elevated water, ultra pure vapor distilled, 9.5 PH Alkaline water.” There are countless benefits to staying hydrated. According to the CDC, it helps regulate body temperature, cushion the joints and the spinal cord, flush out waste, and more, so it’s incredibly important to prioritize getting enough water into your system.

In the same video as above on Instagram, it shows that Morgan loves not just running, but sprinting on the treadmill to get her heart rate pumping. According to the Cleveland Clinic, running (and walking) can “decrease resting blood pressure and heart rate, improve cholesterol levels and blood sugar regulation, regulate gut microbiota, and reduce risk of dementia, among other benefits.”

3. Traveling

Morgan posts her travels on Instagram, oftentimes exploring new destinations in the water. Travel is so good for the soul, plus biking and walking around a new city is an excellent way to get the lay of the land quickly. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) states that “travel is a great way to maintain mental wellbeing and, by extension, it contributes to a happier and more fulfilling life.”

4. She loves fresh veggies

According to Instagram, Morgan loves to eat her produce. In fact, she doesn’t just love to eat it, she likes to grow it. Especially fresh tomatoes! According to the Cleveland Clinic, besides being so delicious and juicy this time of year, tomatoes can lower heart disease risk and cholesterol, lower your risk of cancer, increase immunity, protect against sunburns, and more. I other words, down a bunch throughout the summer like Morgan!

5. She skips the birthday cake and goes for protein

Although a treat now and then can be just fine, it seems like she values savory protein more than sugary cake, even sticking candles in the slab of smoky brisket. “Me & my birthday brisket. Yes, those are candles,” she said on Instagram on her birthday.
