Lizzo is a powerhouse on and off the stage. The 36-year-old "Juice" singer has also been refreshingly open about her wellness and weight-loss journey, which is all about self-love. Fans are following and supporting the rapper along the way. Lizzo made a few healthy lifestyle adjustments, like adding protein back into her diet, that helped her lose weight. Here's what she typically eats in a day.
Lemon Water and Okra Water
Lizzo makes sure to stay hydrated. Two of her go-to beverages? Lemon water and okra water. (She also prepares refreshing homemade peach tea!)
According to The Cleveland Clinic, a glass of lemon water provides plenty of vitamin C, acids that aid digestion, and antioxidants. In addition, research shows that drinking water can promote weight loss.

Eggs
The rapper broke down exactly what she eats in a day "as a former vegan" who's added protein back into her diet." She shared, "My re-introduction to protein started with Japan. Someone suggested I try a Japanese diet because it's one of the healthiest diets in the world, and it has some of my favorite foods."
Lizzo prepares delicious breakfasts, such as egg white cups with cauliflower hash browns and fruit. In another TikTok video, the celeb whipped up a dish of cacio e pepe eggs.

Chicken

Another source of protein Lizzo enjoys? Chicken. In her video, she's seen eating a tasty buffalo chicken lettuce wrap for lunch. She also prepares a grilled chicken dish for dinner.
"After tests and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight, and helped with my mental fog," Lizzo said.

Asparagus

Lizzo doesn't skip out on veggies. In fact, she eats plenty of them daily. One vegetable in particular that's in her rotation? Asparagus. In her TikTok video, Lizzo is seen enjoying her grilled chicken dinner with a side of asparagus and carrots.
According to The Cleveland Clinic, asparagus is full of fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It's a great, healthy choice to help with digestion.

In some of her recipes, Lizzo makes healthier ingredient swaps. For instance, instead of using a tortilla wrap for her buffalo chicken sandwich, she opts for lettuce.
