Lola Vice, aka Valerie Loureda, is throwing some punches – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the WWE fighter flaunts her flat abs during a training session. “Thank you @hannahgoldy for helping me train for Battleground,” she wrote about the Instagram Stories image. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Clean Eating and Hydration

Lola focuses her diet around clean food and water. “On both training days and active recovery days I drink a lot of water and try to eat clean,” she told Vital Proteins. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

2. Fasted Training

Lola practices fasted training. “Every morning, I train fasted – meaning I don’t eat anything before working out. Afterward, I usually have some sort of protein, a carb and healthy fat like avocado. As for why I train fasted, I find, in my experience, it’s a great way to maintain my weight. I also feel lean while exercising.”

3. Coffee with Collagen

Lola enjoys the perks of coffee, which she spikes with collagen. “For about a month now I’ve been adding two scoops of the Collagen Peptides in my coffee every morning and I have seen a drastic change in my hair, nails and skin,” she said.

4. Yoga

Yoga,Practice,During,Sunset,woman,Silhouette,Practicing,Yoga,Warrior,Pose,OnShutterstock

Lola also does yoga. “On active recovery days, doing yoga is my go-to because it helps to release the lactic acid from my legs and the next morning I am not as sore,” she told Vital Proteins. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. Running

Lola.Vice.5Lola Vice/Instagram

In one of her latest Instagram Stories, Lola runs on the treadmill. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

6. Martial Arts

Lola.Vice.4Lola Vice/Instagram

Lola fights for her body. “I think for women, one of the biggest things martial arts teaches you, in general, is confidence. You know, with confidence, you can do things. I’ve always been the only girl in my class, all full of men— for example, boxing— but I have the confidence to do that. For a woman who want to get started, I’d say start with boxing because I feel like boxing is a huge stress relief for a lot of women,” she explained to Muscle & Fitness.

Lola Vice, also known as Valerie Loureda, is a wrestler with WWE. She performs with the NXT brand and is a member of the American Top Team. Loureda shared a stunning new set of photos and a video on Instagram this week. In it, she enjoyed a vacation in Miami. Loureda posed in a pink swimsuit on a jet-ski. Loureda captioned the post, “I do whatever I want, I get whatever I want.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Valerie Loureda stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Boxes

Loureda has to stay in fighting shape for her matches. One thing she likes to do is box. She shared this video on Instagram of herself training at the gym. Physical therapist, James Edwards, DPT, told The Cleveland Clinic that boxing is a great workout. “Boxing combines punching drills and conditioning exercises that can improve your heart health, strength, endurance, balance and coordination,” Dr. Edwards says. “It can also reduce stress, anxiety and depression and improve your confidence and overall well-being.”

2. She’s Committed

Loureda is committed to her wellness routine. She shared her secrets with Muscle and Fitness. “I’m very big on my routine with my vitamins, my supplements and, and my nutrition. So I do eat healthy, and I don’t eat a lot of carbs. But if there’s something I’m very disciplined with, it’s my vitamins and my blood work is really important to me. Every day I work out, and after every workout I use Vital Performance Recover. I love guava lime— it reminds me of Miami. After every training session, I always do that to make sure I’m good for the next one. You know, it really helps my body and my recovery. The amino acids, and everything has been amazing for, for my training.”

3. She Works Her Legs

Loureda has amazing legs and she makes sure to take care of them. She shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen doing squats with punches and weights and donkey kicks with a kettlebell. Loureda captioned the post, “Winter in Miami.”

4. She’s Proud Of Herself

Loureda is proud of herself for going after her dreams. She talked about this in an interview with Busted Open Radio. “I cry a lot thinking about this but, I’m proud of myself for following my dreams and my passion. I remember being little and looking myself in the mirror being like, ‘God put you in this world to be something big.’ I never cared about partying, I never cared about boyfriends or friends or none of that. All I ever cared about was my career, and I’m not gonna lie, when I decided to sign here from MMA, I was like, ‘Did I make the right decision?’ I took a big leap of faith in myself and I’m just very proud of myself because I’m a go-getter and I don’t let anything stop me and I’ve put myself in that gym for a year-and-a-half, the first one there, the last one to leave, doing everything extra so no one can say anything was ever handed to me.”

5. She Ignores Other’s Opinions

Loureda tells Muscle and Fitness that she doesn’t care what people think about her. “I would say don’t listen to what anybody has to say about you, because you have to be yourself and stay true to yourself in order to be recognized by the world. And if I would have listened to what anybody said about me, I wouldn’t be in the position where I am now. And just because I don’t look like I’m the stereotype in my sport doesn’t mean I don’t have the same level and the same talent. So I would tell girls to stay true to themselves. Be yourself, and work a hundred times harder than everyone else in your career. Stay true to your passion and just grow and shine—don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.”

Lola Vice, formerly known as Valerie Loureda, is a highly successful wrestler in WWE, performing under the NXT brand. She first gained recognition as an MMA fighter and continues to build her legacy as a professional wrestler. In 2022, Vice won the NXT Breakout Tournament and has been a rising star ever since. Recently, she celebrated NXT’s premiere on The CW by sharing a story on Instagram, showcasing her in black workout attire. Vice's dedication to her craft, both mentally and physically, is evident in how she approaches her fitness, nutrition, and career goals. Here are some of her key lifestyle habits that keep her at the top of her game.

1. She’s Confident

Lola Vice.5Lola Vice/Instagram

Vice opened up about her career in an interview with Fightful. In it, she shared where her confidence comes from. “I speak that way because I know my work ethic matches my words,” she said. “A lot of people say they are going to be the best, but they don’t put in the work. I do that. I know every time I step into the ring, I’m confident because I’m extremely prepared, more than anyone else. A big part of this business is being reliable, being able to perform at all times, being able to adapt, and I think everything my life has thrown at me, I’ve been able to overcome it. I actually perform better under pressure, under the big lights.”

2. She Works Hard

Vice works hard to succeed in her career. She talked about this on Fightful. “This is something that I know, if I put in the work, as soon as I get there, I’m going to perform. Here in WWE, it’s no different. Every time I go in there, I give it 100%, my work ethic…I’m there every single day, I still haven’t taken a day off, I haven’t taken a vacation, I’m completely committed to this and I am going to be the best female sports entertainer in the history of WWE.”

3. She Takes Vitamins

Pills,,Capsules,,Vitamins,And,Natural,Organic,Food,Supplements,On,WhiteShutterstock

Vice tells Muscle and Fitness that she makes sure to take vitamins.

4. She Wants To Be A Role Model

Vice talked about wanting to be a role model in her Muscle and Fitness. “I’m just going to keep being an inspiration to other women and other young girls. I want them not to be scared of my sport because they’re scared to get hurt. I want them to be interested so they can learn to defend themselves and develop that confidence that I feel like all women need. So that’s really my message, and the more I fight, the more I grow and build a platform to show the world who I am.”

5. She Eats Healthy

Vice makes sure to eat healthy. She also knows what to eat depending on what time of day it is. “Every morning, I train fasted – meaning I don’t eat anything before working out,” she told Vital Proteins. “Afterward, I usually have some sort of protein, a carb and healthy fat like avocado. As for why I train fasted, I find, in my experience, it’s a great way to maintain my weight. I also feel lean while exercising.”

Valentina Lequeux is a very successful fitness model. She shares a lot of her workout videos on Instagram. In May, she shared a full-body high-intensity interval training workout on her page. She is seen doing things like lunge jumps, plank twists, and push-ups. Lequeux captioned the post, “FULL BODY HIIT 💦 This routine will help with your nutrition choices this coming weekend. Go ahead and have that drink, just train hard.”

1. She Like To Workout Outside

Lequeux likes to workout outside. She captioned her Instagram post, “It’s getting warmer outside, so there’s little to no excuses to take your fitness outdoors especially with this minimal equipment routine.” UC Davis states that going outside has a lot of benefits. “Being outdoors can also have relaxing effects on our minds. Nature can provide a mental break by allowing us to temporarily escape the demands of everyday life. It can also boost your creativity and problem-solving abilities. For example, if you're having a mental block writing a paper or can't seem to solve a problem at work, step outside for a breath of fresh air. Take an easy walk around your neighborhood or office, and you just might find the answers you were looking for.”

2. She Weight Trains

As you can see in her Instagram post, Lequeux likes to weight train. She wrote in the caption, “All you need is a kettlebell, I’m using the 18 lb @bellsofsteel kettlebell.”

2. She Works Her Core

Lequeux shared her core workouts in this Instagram video. “15 minute CORE AMRAP 🔥 Set a timer with 15 minutes & perform as many series of these moves as you can (see below for rep count). Rest as little as possible at the end of each round. Make every rep count!⁣ 1. Ball slams x15 each side. 2. Weighted sit up w/med ball toss x20 reps⁣. 3. High plank w/kettlebell pass x15 each hand⁣. 4. Weighted floor rock into pistol squat x10 each leg.”

4. She Works Her Legs

Lequeux shared her lower body workouts in this Instagram video. “Full Leg Day 👌🏼 This was the only workout so did in Texas, we went to @lgndbarbell (not an ad) what a cool spot, check it if you live in Huston it’s top notch for any of my bodybuilding or powerlifting peeps.⁣ I did a warm up that isn’t shown in this vid, sorry I completely forgot to film it! But it’s so good you have to do it before the working sets:⁣ X2 rounds of:⁣ 1.Kettlebell swings: x15⁣. 2.Leg extension: x12⁣. 3.Hamstring curl: x8⁣. 4.Back extension w/oh plate press & hold: x12⁣.”

5. She Does HIIT

As you can see from her Instagram post, Lequeux likes to do HIIT. Circle Health Group states, “HIIT involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by brief periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. During the high-intensity intervals, your heart rate and breathing rate increase substantially. Over time, this helps to improve your aerobic capacity, also known as VO2 max, which is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during intense exercise. A higher VO2 max is associated with improved stamina and endurance.”

Yasmin Brunet is a model and entrepreneur with more than 7 million followers on Instagram. Why so popular? She’s fit and shows you how. “Another day, another workout,” she captioned one recent post, where she can be seen sparring with a coach. How else does the 36-year-old stay so strong? Read on for her wellness habits that you can adopt, too.

1. She Loves Her Pooch

Brunet is seen smooching a pooch in one video. “One notable benefit is that dogs force you to get up and move. One research study found that dog owners are more likely to report regular physical activity than people who don't own dogs. Activities associated with dog ownership, like feeding, grooming, playing and letting them outside, all increase physical activity levels. Physical activity improves blood flow, induces muscle contraction and reduces joint stiffness,” says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Uses Battle Ropes

“Battle Rope training allows for safe and effective ways to train force production in all three planes of motion, as an integral part of any well-rounded strength and conditioning program,” says NASM. If you are looking for a tool that recruits multiple core musculature in movements, then the Battle Rope is that tool. High to moderate levels of activation have been found in obliques, erector spinae, and gluteus medius (Calatayud, 2015).”

3. She Does Squats With Kettlebells

Beautiful,Blonde,Sports,Girl,In,Sexy,Fancy,Sports,Clothes,SquattingShutterstock

“Kettlebell training is a flexible and useful strategy for improving players' performance in a variety of sports. It adds value to athlete training programs by enhancing strength, power, endurance, explosive power, and postural coordination,” says one study.

4. She Does Crunches

Yasmin BrunetYasmin Brunet/Instagram

Before boxing, Brunet does some light crunches on an stability ball. To get set up, “sit on a properly inflated stability ball (one that compresses approximately 6" under your body weight) with your feet flat on the floor. Slowly lean backwards while walking yourself out along the ball until your shoulders, back and tailbone make contact on the ball. Adjust your leg position to create a 90 degree bend at the knees with your thighs parallel to the floor and positioned hip-width apart, and feet facing forward with your weight distributed evenly through your feet. Your mid-back should be positioned on the top of the ball (at 12 o'clock) and your hips should be positioned at 2 o'clock,” says ACE Fitness.

5. She Boxes

“The calories you burn during boxing can help you maintain or achieve a healthy weight,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “One study compared boxing training versus moderate-intensity walking in people with a body mass index (BMI) of greater than 25 (which is considered having overweight/obesity). The researchers noted reductions in BMI, waist circumference and body fat percentage in the boxing group, while the walking group showed no changes.”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
