Lottie Tomlinson is flaunting her weight loss – in a swimsuit. In a new social media post the influencer shares a before-and-after photo after losing 56 pounds 17 months after welcoming her first child. How did Lottie slim down and achieve her flat abs? Celebwell has all the details on her diet and exercise routine.

1. Exercise

Lottie enjoys exercise. “I think when I’m healthy and fit, I feel really confident in myself. It makes me feel like the best version of myself,” Lottie told The Daily Mail. “Your mind is clearer, your skin is clearer and you just have so much more energy. It’s a good base for everything else in life to just flow.”

2. What She Eats

Lottie “could eat” sushi “for breakfast lunch and dinner,” she revealed on Instagram. Burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, cheese-covered french fries, oysters, and alcoholic beverages are just a few of the dietary splurges Lottie has shared via her Instagram account.

3. Boxing

Lottie is a fan boxing for fitness and you can often find her in group classes. “Little box this morning with @myprotein @blok 🥊 #empowermentweek #strongertogether,” she captioned this series of snaps. Harvard Health maintains that the workout is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

4. Tennis

Lottie also plays tennis. “I got the best teacher,” she captioned a photo of herself, on the court with her boyfriend, model and former professional tennis player Lewis Burton. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

5. HIIT Workouts

Lottie.TomlinsonLottie Tomlinson/Instagram

“I like doing hiit workouts because they’re quick and effective! I usually find one on YouTube or Instagram,” Lottie said on her website, Tanologist. There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

1. She Feels Good When She Is Fit

Lottie-TomlinsonLottie Tomlinson/Instagram

Lottie believes that staying in shape is the key to happiness. “I think when I’m healthy and fit, I feel really confident in myself. It makes me feel like the best version of myself,’ she told The Daily Mail. “Your mind is clearer, your skin is clearer and you just have so much more energy. It’s a good base for everything else in life to just flow.”

2. Her Favorite Food Is Sushi

Lottie is a big fan of sushi. She captioned this image of various rolls, “could eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner.” Unfortunately, due to her pregnancy, she is going to have to wait a few months before feasting on raw fish again. Try a tuna roll. "More than half of the calories in this simple, classic roll come from protein, making it a great light meal or a snack with substance. Plus, tuna is a primo source of docosahexaenoic acid, a type of omega-3 fat found in oily fish that can down-regulate fat genes in the abdomen, preventing belly fat cells from growing larger. Sounds like a good reason to place an order of the Japanese staple to us," says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

3. She Boxes

If you want a body like Lottie’s, you are going to have to fight for it! The influencer is a big fan of boxing for fitness. She even takes group classes. “little box this morning with @myprotein @blok 🥊 #empowermentweek #strongertogether,” she captioned this series of snaps.

4. She Plays Tennis

Lottie also loves playing tennis. “I got the best teacher,” she captioned a photo of herself, on the court with her boyfriend, model and former professional tennis player Lewis Burton. Playing tennis may help you live longer. "Multivariable-adjusted life expectancy gains compared with the sedentary group for different sports were as follows: tennis, 9.7 years; badminton, 6.2 years; soccer, 4.7 years; cycling, 3.7 years; swimming, 3.4 years; jogging, 3.2 years; calisthenics, 3.1 years; and health club activities, 1.5 years," said one study.

5. She Indulges

Burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, cheese covered french fries, oysters, and alcoholic beverages are just a few of the dietary splurges Lottie has shared via her Instagram account.

6. She Goes to Therapy

After the death of her mother to cancer and her sister to an accidental drug overdose, Lottie turned to therapy to help her get through the dark time. "I decided I was going to try therapy, and I’m so grateful for that decision. It has made such a difference to my life, and my grief has been a totally different experience,” she told OK. "Therapy means I get an hour to sit and divulge all my feelings whenever I need to. It is my time to talk about my mum and sister. I feel a lot lighter after a session."

In a new social media post the reality star flaunts her incredible figure in a swimsuit while revealing that she has lost 70 pounds. “70 pounds down! Feeling happier and healthier than I’ve been in years. I still have a ways to go, but I’m so proud to finally be taking the necessary steps toward bettering my mind, body and spirit 💜💜💜,” she captioned the Instagram post. “Looking good girl,” commented one of her followers. “So incredibly proud of you. I know how hard it is to be confident and committed to weight loss. You are an inspiration to so many for many reasons. You go girl !!!!” added another. Here is everything you need to know about her weight loss journey.

1. She Gained 100 Pounds Due to Binge Eating

“As many of you have noticed, over the past few years, I have gained a substantial amount of weight,” Jazz wrote on Instagram in June 2021, discussing her food addiction. “My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years.”

2. She Decided to “Turn Over a New Leaf”

“I’m ready to change my ways; I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees now. I’m ready to take the initiative and create positive changes when it comes to my health and body. I have a fabulous team supporting me, both professionals and family/friends, but at the end of the day, I have to be the one committed toward bettering myself. I know I have the power in me to lose the weight,” she continued in the same post.

3. Her Weight Gain Was Related to Mental Health Struggles

Image,Of,Caucasian,Obese,Woman,Looks,Fearfully,While,Standing,WithShutterstock

On her TLC docuseries, I Am Jazz, she revealed that her eating issues started as a result of mental health struggles in 2019. That year she deferred her admission to Harvard University. “Having all this extra weight, I can’t do so many things with my body that I used to be able to do,” she said on a November 2021 episode of her show. “I do experience fat-shaming from my family. It makes me feel really humiliated.”

4. She Opted to Lose Weight “For Health Reasons”

“I honestly feel beautiful [at] every shape and size. I love my body the way it is. But I will say that I am trying to lose weight for health reasons,” Jazz said on a December 2021 episode of her show. “I have to feel good, too, and I don’t feel good with some of the foods that I have been eating. I really am working on this weight loss so I can be healthier and more me.”

5. She Started Running

One of the things Jazz does to help with her weight loss is exercise. Here she is going for a run with her dad. “‘There she is….the 2024 JAZZZZ’ - @gregory_scott_4 My dad is the BEST. So supportive and empathetic. Thanks for always being there for me. Now I just have to be consistent in order to reach my health goals!🩷🩷🩷 Baby steps,” she captioned a recent post.

6. What Is Binge Eating Disorder?

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, binge eating is a disorder which involves recurrent episodes of binge eating and eating larger amounts of food in a shorter period of time than most people would in the same situation. “Other associated behaviors include eating very rapidly, eating past the point of being full, eating when not hungry, and eating alone,” they say.

1. She Sleeps Late

Lottie loves getting her beauty sleep. “What time do I wake up? I wish I could say something productive, but it honestly depends,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Sometimes I wake up at 9 and get on with my day. Sometimes I'll stay there until 2 in the afternoon and have a bed day. I tend to lie around for a bit. I prefer to take my time in the morning and just have a chill. When I'm not working it's nice to have some downtime and not have to stress about getting up.”

2. She Eats Fish…For Breakfast

Delicious,Avocado,,Hard,Boiled,Eggs,And,Smoked,Salmon,Breakfast,ToastShutterstock

Lottie is such a fan of fish, she starts her day with it. “For breakfast, I'll usually have hard-boiled eggs, some grainy bread, and salmon. I eat so much salmon,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. "Salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids — a type of fat that makes your blood less likely to form clots that may cause heart attacks. Omega-3s may also protect against irregular heartbeats that may cause sudden cardiac death, and they help decrease triglyceride levels, decrease the growth of artery-clogging plaques and slightly lower blood pressure. In addition to containing omega-3s, salmon is low in saturated fat and cholesterol and is a good source of protein," says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Works Out

NME Awards 2022 - ArrivalsTristan Fewings/Getty Images

Lottie works out with a trainer three times a week. “We do a lot of burpees, even though I hate them. Then we'll do some boxing and skipping rope, which I like because it doesn't feel like you're working out. They're actually fun to do,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Now I only work out with my trainer, because he is amazing—he knows that if you force it, it's not going to work. He lets me come to him.”

4. Her Diet Is Healthy

Lottie makes sure to maintain a balanced diet, focusing on eating protein, healthy fats, veggies, and carbs. For lunch she likes rice or stir-fry. “I also like soups or chicken.” To ensure she eats healthy snacks she keeps them on hand. “And I carry nuts with me; I'm obsessed with nuts. Pistachios, peanuts—I love them,” she said. As for dinner, she loves sushi or Italian. “I can literally go for anything: seafood risotto, linguine… I even like the occasional pizza, but keep that on the down low. The one food I'm not a fan of is Chinese. It's the only thing I don't like, and of course that's what everyone wants to get if we're ordering takeout,” she added to Harper’s Bazaar.

5. She Is Open About Her Mental Health Struggles

The Launch Of The WhiteleyDave Benett/Getty Images

In a recent Instagram post, Lottie revealed she was working on self-love. "I have never been happier mentally, I've struggled a lot in the last few years with myself and anxiety and other things. Right now is the first time I have ever put myself first and actually worked on myself to make sure I get the best out of my life and am actually feeling like the best and truest version of myself! And I love her!"

Olivia revealed after the show that she weighed 80kg while filming MAFS. “Now I’m back to 67kg as of this morning,” she said. “I try to stay between 60 and 65, so a few more kilos [to lose],” she said.

3. She Also Underwent Another Plastic Surgery Procedure

After her gastric bypass surgery, Olivia underwent another procedure. “I didn’t have much loose skin. I had a little bit in my arms but my [breasts] were very saggy, I had to have them done,” she said, revealing she had breast reduction surgery.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
