Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tasha Ghouri is looking marvelous in Marbella – in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, the Love Island alum steams up Spain, showing off her fabulously fit figure in a tiny bathing suit. “Bikini attire,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps with her followers. “Gorgeous girl,” commented Danica Taylor. How does the reality star stay so fit? Read on to see 5 of Tasha Ghouri’s top diet and fitness methods that keep her looking like a perfect 10.

1. Dance Cardio Workouts

Tasha’s favorite cardio workout is dancing. She would love to land a spot on Strictly Come Dancing. “It will happen, you have to believe in it!” she told OK! Magazine in a recent interview. “I think Strictly would be really interesting because its [dancing] styles I’ve never done before so it would be a challenge. So who knows!” Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

2. Swimming Sessions at the Beach

London,,England,,Uk,-,November,15,,2022:,Tasha,Ghouri,AttendsShutterstock

Tasha, who calls herself a “beach baby,” loves to swim, a great method of aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

3. Regular Weight Training Sessions

Tasha also weight trains. Her personal trainer Joshua Kempton, another former Love Island contestant, told Women’s Health that Tasha trained four to five times a week doing a lower body workout. She focused on hamstrings and an upper body and core workout and also did a cardio day, a workout focusing on glutes, and another looking at the whole body.

4. Choosing Strength Over Skinny

London,,England,,Uk,-,May,15,,2023:,Tasha,Ghouri,AttendsShutterstock

“Tasha’s goals were to get stronger and be the best version of herself both physically and mentally,” Josh told Women’s Health. “She’s got strong mobility and a disciplined mindset to progress with training,” he said.

5. Healthy Eatings

If you want a body like Tasha’s, you are going to have to work on incorporating all food groups, says Josh. She eats healthy most of the time but allows herself occasional cheat meals. She also consumes a lot of protein to help with her intense workout sessions and eats carbohydrates to fuel her energy. “Without them, she’d never have sustained and recovered the workout routine we set together,” he told Women’s Health.

Shaughna Phillips is sharing a body positive message – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island star shows off her gorgeous figure while opening up to her fans. “I’ve been meaning to post this for aaaagesssss, and I just kept chickening out which sounds ridiculous but it’s the truth,” she wrote. “This is not easy for me, it’s hard to just be yourself when social media can be SO cruel at times. Full disclosure, I’m not in the place I want to be physically, I have ‘baby weight’ to lose plus a bit more lol, but I’m not going to let my intrusive thoughts about how I look get in the way of me living my life,” she continued. “I really want to be the best role model I can be for Lucia, and I’m so determined that she won’t grow up with the same warped view on body image as I did, and that’s starts with me. I know it’s a bit late for New Year’s resolutions, but I’m sure we all have room for one more 🙋🏼‍♀️ Here’s to getting real in 2024, who wants to join me?” How does the reality star approach health and wellness? Celebwell has the details on her lifestyle habits.

1. She Took Drastic Measures to Slim Down for Love Island

Shaughna went to drastic measures to lose weight for the show, sharing about it in a 17-minute video on her YouTube channel. She wouldn’t allow herself to eat treats over the 2019 Christmas period and asked her colleague to "shame" her every time she tried to. “I think for me and the series that I was in, we had it the hardest... because the casting process was over Christmas,” she said. “Everyone and anyone indulges, but because we knew we were potentially going into the villa, I for one did not have one Quality Street that whole Christmas season... Now, that was a bad Christmas.”

2. She Worked Out 90 Minutes Every Night

A,Phone,With,A,White,1,Hour,And,30,MinutesShutterstock

She went to the gym for 90 minutes every evening and her routine was “very, very strict,” she said. “I would do 20 to 25 minutes on the treadmill very fast at a high incline. I would do a few sets on the lat pulldown machine... and then I used to do a quick circuit on the mats. I used to use like free weights and stuff and that would literally be it every single day.”

3. Working Out Makes Her Feel Better

What motivates her to stay in shape? “Honestly? I become an anxious mess if I don't work out. It sounds cliche, and everyone always says, ‘Oh when you work out you feel better,’ but it’s actually true,” she told Bustle.

4. She Launched a Nutrition Plan

Shaughna.Phillips.2Shaughna Phillips/Instagram

Shaughna launched her own fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle plan, Be You With Shaughna. “No before and after shots. No guaranteed ‘drop a dress size’ promises. No get fit quick plan,” she writes. “What my plan does include? Dedicated work to improve your mental health. Workouts that go at your pace. Nutritional advice aimed at encouraging your relationship with food, and not how to restrict your food.”

5. She’s an “Early Bird”

Shaughna.Phillips.1Shaughna Phillips/Instagram

“I've always been an early bird. Ever since I was little, I've just always been up literally before the sun,” Shaughna told Bustle. “I don't like being rushed in the morning, so although I could probably easily get another hour in bed, I would rather just get up and start waking up gradually. These days, my normal morning routine starts at 6 a.m. I get up, make my breakfast, and have a cup of coffee, or tea, depending on my mood. I watch a little bit of TV before I head to workout at 8:30 a.m. I like to get it done and dusted because that way it means nothing like social media can impact my workout.”

6. She Takes Baths

“I'm definitely a bath girl. To the point where I miss having them in the summer because the last thing you want is to increase your body temperature,” Shaughna told Bustle. “When I used to go to the gym after work, in the days before Love Island, I remember the moments when I would see a text from my mum saying, ‘Your bath is running’ and it would literally feel like I’d won the lottery. Thinking about my bath is one thing I used to do to get me through the gym. Feeling that post-workout ache and being in the bath. There is nothing better! I've got to have a lot of bubbles, not bath salts – I can just feel the grains and it makes me feel like the water is dirty. Lots of candles. I like to have my hair up, out of my face, because I get very hot and bothered.”

1. She Doesn’t Crash Diet

Amber told Closer that you will never find her starving herself. “There are fitness fanatics who train three times a day, every day, and then eat nothing. I put on a stone, then lost it, but I’ve made sure I haven’t let my diet and fitness take over my life. I’m not fitness obsessed. I wanted to do something that was sustainable and would also make me feel better mentally. I could never do a crash diet – I love my food.”

2. She Indulges on Occasion

Amber maintains a healthy diet but allows herself to eat the food she loves in moderation. For breakfast she might eat oats with fruit and honey for breakfast, a tomato and mozzarella or avocado salad for lunch, and salmon, greens and potatoes for dinner.

3. Staying Healthy Helps Her Stay Happy

“I feel so much happier now and I feel this pandemic has taught us that it’s so important to look after yourself at the moment – both physically and mentally,” Amber told Closer about how physical and mental health are connected. “Staying in contact with friends and family virtually, eating well and exercising all helps. I feel really positive and ready for this year.”

4. She Exercises

Fitness is a priority for Amber. “I train four times a week with my programme for 20 minutes at a time. I’m using my own body weight for resistance, which is the biggest surprise as I’ve always done weights at the gym. It’s amazing to see how effective it is and proves it is possible to work out effectively when we’ve been told to stay at home,” she told Closer.

5. She Is All About Self-Care

“I am the queen of self-care,” Amber confessed to Women’s Health. “I like to get massages or have bubble baths and do face masks. For me, it’s about taking a day off, a rest day – that means no home workouts, no phone and just doing things I enjoy. It’s a really good reset so that when I come back to work, I feel more inspired and creative.” She also has another way she takes care of herself. “I know stretching doesn’t sound like self-care but when you’re training quite hard, it’s so important to stretch: it’s like a thank you to your body. ‘Thank you for doing all the work, I’m going to reward you a little bit now.’”

How does the 41-year-old keep herself healthy? Celebwell compiled some of her top diet and fitness habits.

1. Daily Workouts

Sophie exercises daily. ''I do pilates, strength training, and cardio,” she told Times of India. “ I go four times a week. I don't work out to be skinny or anything like that. As soon as work gets full-blown again, in terms of stage shows and shooting, you need to be fit to be in this line of work. It makes me really happy and I enjoy working out.''

2. No Crash Diets

“I don't believe in extreme dieting or extreme workouts,” Sophie told OnManorama. “My motto has always been consistency. I feelI feel fitness has to be a part of your lifestyle and it should come naturally to yourself. Then, you will not find it difficult and you will not treat it as a chore.”

3. Healthy Eating

Sophie eats extremely healthy food. “I wake up in the morning and start my day with a cup of my own detox tea, Fittox, which is really good and I genuinely swear by it. It’s a great way for me to start my day,” she told Telegraph. “Breakfast is super important, that’s the meal I look forward to. It can be eggs and toast or avocado on toast or almond milk porridge with some berries. I have a green tea with it.” For lunch she enjoys one or two rotis with sabzi or a grilled chicken with a salad or an avocado salad. “My five o’clock snack is some dry fruits and a coffee at 7pm in the evening, I have some soup. If I’m really hungry, I might have some tofu or a little bit of chicken with that. After 8pm, I don’t eat. If I’m hungry, then I’ll have a herbal tea at night while watching Netflix or something. Or hopefully, my own show Work It Up (laughs)! I’ll probably just have herbal tea and a piece of dark chocolate, that’s about it,” she concluded.

4. Cheat Meals

Sophie cheats on occasion. “I have a sweet tooth. So, it has to be something like pancakes or waffles or caramel popcorn while watching a movie or something like that. I don’t eat pizza at all, not interested,” she told Telegraph.

5. Snorkeling and Swimming

In a recent post, Sophie showed off her snorkeling skills. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Emily Elizabeth is heating up Hawaii – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the model and influencer shows off her amazing figure in a two-piece while on the beaches of the tropical paradise. “Hawaii >> 🌺🌈,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Simply Beautiful ❤️🏖❤,” commented one of her followers. “🔥😍perfect,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Hydration

Emily prioritizes hydration. Not only does she drink water, but also electrolyte enhanced fruit. “Fresh coconut,” she captioned a photo from Bora Bora. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Coffee

Emily enjoys the perks of caffeine. Here she is drinking a cup of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Snowboarding

While you can usually find Emily in the tropics, sometimes she heads over to the mountains for winter sports. In one of her photos she goes snowboarding. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

Snorkeling

While on vacation Emily throws on a mask and fin and goes snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Walking

She also takes her dog for walks. Here she is strolling in Central Park with her pooch. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Emma McQuaid is prepping for her CrossFit competition – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the athlete flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece exercise set while training. “8 weeks to my first Hyrox Sim 🏃♀️Looking forward to upping my run volume over the next 2 months to see how I can fair out before entering my first proper race later in the year. It’s no secret I don’t really enjoy running, I never have but I’m excited to see if I can turn that around this year,” she captioned the Instagram photos. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Is Consistent

If you want to improve your Olympics lifts, Emma suggests maintaining consistency. “Be consistent in your training, it’s vital you continually train all the lifts, not just the ones you like. I used to hate the full snatch and always power snatched everything. Recently though its become the opposite, I love full snatch and need to focus again on my power snatch. Always attack your weaknesses,” she told Boxrox.

Focus on Mobility

When it comes to improving gymnastic skills, Emma says to focus on mobility. “Sometimes is not just learning the skill, it’s having the mobility to be able to do it. I have struggled with handstand walks for over a year now and have practised more than people realise, but recently found out it’s my thoracic and shoulder mobility holding me back. So I have worked on my mobility and I’ve already seen improvements in my handstand walks. I’d also say people need to work the basics more, develop a strong foundation to build the high level movements on,” Emma told Boxrox.

Hydration

Drinking enough water and getting rest is an important component of health. “Eat healthy, drink plenty of water and sleep well is a good recipe for success,” she told Coach Web. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Meal Prep

While Emma doesn’t meal prep, she has her food prepared for her. “All my food is supplied from a local company called Fuel Farm. I usually eat 4-5 times a day. Just depends what my training volume is like that day, I also live on Battle Oats bars between sessions, a great snack that keeps me going and doesn’t fill me up,” she says.

Balanced Diet

Healthy,And,Unhealthy,Food,Background,From,Fruits,And,Vegetables,VsShutterstock

Emma maintains a balanced diet. “I personally think a lot of athletes in CrossFit under eat. Avoiding carbs or limiting them isn’t a good idea when you train at high intensity. I eat some junk everyday because I find it helps my performance, a 6 pack isn’t going to help me win so it doesn’t bother me, fuelling my body and maintaining the intensity in training is what will help me win. I’ve focused on timing my intake of sugar and it’s only made me better,” she told Boxrox.

Krissy Cela in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "8 Weeks of Lifting"
Getty images

Krissy Cela is a fitness trainer on the Evolve You app and influencer. Recently, she has been documenting her process of losing pregnancy weight on Instagram. In a recent post, Cela revealed that she had been consistently weight training. She captioned it, “8 weeks of lifting, not depriving, recovering and sticking to an actual PLAN! Not doing random workouts. All my programs are on the @evolveyou app. I'm currently on the strong program and absolutely loving it! But there are home workouts too. Use code KRISSY for money off! (own brand).”

She Strength Trains

Cela strength trains to keep herself in shape. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She’s Consistent

Cela revealed in the caption of her Instagram post that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness. “So yeah… just keep lifting some heavy iron, don’t really listen to people who tell you not to unless you have an injury of some sort. Eat your fats, carbs and protein and get your steps in. Keep it simple and remember a cute gym set will make you lift heavier 😂Proud of myself because it really wasn’t easy showing up daily ngl.”

She Accepts Herself

Cela talked about her journey to accept herself in the caption of this Instagram post. “When I was growing up, all I ever wanted was to be pretty. I hated the way I looked and felt out of place, especially as the only girl in school with upper lip hair and a foreign background. I resented that my Albanian parents imposed cultural norms that limited what I could wear and how I could express myself. Now, in my 30s, I’ve learned to embrace my roots while also appreciating the many unique qualities I bring to the table that go beyond mere appearances. I didn’t realize how much being creative, strong, and loving would mean to me. I didn’t understand the true value of these qualities until now.”

She Works Her Lower Body

Cela shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “This mammaaa is putting in the work! Loving it so much moving my body and building my strength all over again 💅🏽All workout programs are from the @evolveyou app so if you’re stuck on where to start I really think you should just come and join the party and see what the fuss is all about. (Own brand). Workout: 1. KB RDL: 4 sets till failure 2. BB Reverse lunges: 4 sets 8 reps each leg 3. Hip work: need it my hips are tight: 4 sets each leg 8 reps (great to warm up also) 4. Static lunge: 4 sets 12 reps each leg 5. Also did hip thrust forgot to record 4 sets till failure.”

She Walks

Another thing that Cela does to keep herself in shape is go for walks. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself doing so. Cela shared this set of photos of herself hiking with her dog and partner. She captioned the post, “Postpartum walks! Taking it easy and feeling good! Ad/ Supported by @promix electrolytes in watermelon flavour 💅🏽Set from @oneractive launching 12th December.”
