Love It or List It Star Jillian Harris in "Workout Gear" Does Peloton in PJs

Here are her lifestyle tips.

HGTV star Jillian Harris does whatever it takes to get her workouts out of the way. Harris, 44, shared a video of herself wearing pink pants and a matching shirt, her hair up in a messy bun. "Caught a glimpse of myself getting ready to hop on the @onepeloton this morning and couldn't resist sharing it with you. 🤣🔥🚲 Honestly, though… Don't overthink it. I so badly didn't want to work out this morning that I worked out in my pajamas with no bra and didn't brush my teeth… but I still did it and closed my exercise ring before 7am!!" she captioned the post. Here's how this busy mom juggles work, family, and her wellness.

1

Green Smoothies

Harris loves making green smoothies at home. "I sneak a few extra veggies into my breakfast smoothie to keep my energy up… Plus my not-so-secret ingredient, the INE+ Nutrition: Super Greens Powder," she writes on her website. "The good news is, most of the ingredients are items and produce you probably already have in your fridge!"

2

Salads For Lunch

Harris overhauled her diet and made sure to always sit down to eat. "Something I was definitely skipping out on before was being intentional about sitting down to eat my meals during the day and also going without food most of the day, and eating a ton at night… maybe that's why I was always so hungry for a big dish of pasta late at night!" she writes on her website. "I used to joke that I hated salads, but truth be told, I love them … and my lunch meal is my fave. I make a giant, fresh salad and really try to pause and be present while I eat it."

Construction Flagger

Harris says being a construction flagger in her youth taught her a strong work ethic. "I learned something from every job I've ever done, but I think being a construction flagger taught me never to say, 'That's not in my job description so I'm not doing it.' I've asked people on my team to change diapers or do some dishes real quick," she told Financial Post. "I'm always looking for people who'll do whatever it takes to get the job done."

4

Bath and Skincare Routine

Harris loves to end her day with a nice hot bath. "As part of our new wind-down routine, I've been dimming the lights after dinner (and sometimes even lighting a candle)," she writes on her website. "Our goal is to get the kids in bed and asleep before 8 pm, so this is another trick we've been working on to help regulate their nervous systems and help them find calm before bedtime. If I can, I'll even sneak in an Epsom salt bath and take my time with my nighttime skincare routine."

5

Yoga and Lemon Water

Harris wakes up at 5 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for hot yoga. "What is my drink of choice now that I'm limiting my coffee intake? That would be hot water with lemon!" she writes on her website. "I'm such a fan. It's so nice, especially on those cold mornings, to warm you up and get that metabolism going. Now, I DO still drink my coffee, but I like to start with my hot water with lemon to make sure I'm getting some water in my system before hitting the caffeine (within moderation!), and then I follow it up with a smoothie."
