Ajani Scott is not just a real estate agent but a beacon of inspiration on the reality TV series, "Love & Listings." Her Instagram is a gallery of empowerment, beautifully capturing her confidence and professional journey. Recently, Scott shared a series of photos in sleek black workout gear, perfectly encapsulating her spirit with the caption, "When I have a bad day, I just remind myself I'm even badder 🫶🏽🥰🫶🏽." Her narrative is not just about selling luxury properties; it's about reshaping the perception of Black women in real estate.
She Wants To Change Things
Scott talked about her career in an interview with Voyage LA. She says that she wants to change how black women are viewed in the real estate world. "Life is challenging. For me, the biggest challenge was to make a name and respected reputation for myself as a Black woman in luxury real estate. We are few and far between. I am grateful to have the platform and the opportunity to change the narrative and textbook image of what a successful Real Estate agent looks like."
She Doesn't Have Regrets
Scott is a believer in not having any regrets. She talked about this to Voyage LA. "I don't believe in regrets. Mistakes are the key to growth. Every decision I have made, bad or good, right or wrong, has led me to where I am today. I am proud of the woman I've become, grateful for where I am and excited for the future."
She Has Balance
Scott talks about her wellness secrets in different Instagram post captions. In the caption of this one, she talked about the importance of having balance in life. "Balance 🥂✨Too much focus on one thing will always lead to burn out. We glorify the hustle and grind, but we can't forget to prioritize peace, love, and harmony… Only then can we truly enjoy what we worked so hard and sacrificed for. 🙏🏽✨"
She Runs On The Treadmill
Scott likes to run on the treadmill to stay in shape. She revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that she likes to listen to artists like Kendrick Lamar when she does so. "I'm Ms. Michigan all day looong!!! BUT, been in LA for 8 years now, so I reserve the right to represent at my convenience and as needed! 💅🏽 Kenny said… 'Y'all need something to move to? Hold my drink!!' 😂…The way this had me dancing on my treadmill this morning lol!! Yasss… They not like usss!! 🙌🏽🐶"
She Worked Hard
Scott made sure to work hard to get where she was. She talked about this to Voyage LA. "When I moved to Los Angeles to chase my dreams, my intentions were starting a music career, like many other transplants who find their way to the city of red carpets and glam. However, not long after touchdown, I quickly realized that hustling for that big break was not in line with the finer things that LA had to offer. Enter luxury real estate. After some gear switching and networking, I was blown away by the opportunity to make big money and still be involved in the entertainment world. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would land a VH1 reality tv series. It has been an enormous blessing, and I am proud of all of the opportunities I've manifested for myself."
