In one of her latest Instagram Stories, Lucero goes for a hike. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.
2. She Lifts Weights

To get in shape for fighting, Lucero spends a lot of time at the gym. One of her main exercises is weight lifting. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
3. She Jump Ropes
Lucero knows that jump roping is a great anytime-anywhere workout. Here she is doing a jump roping session outside.
4. She Swims
Lucero swims to stay in shape. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
5. She Trains Underwater
Lucero has an unconventional training method – underwater. In her latest Instagram, she packs some major punches while in a swimming pool. Training underwater, also known as underwater exercise or aquatic training, offers a unique and highly effective approach to fitness and wellness. One of the primary benefits of training underwater is the natural resistance provided by the water, which helps to engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, leading to a more comprehensive and efficient workout. The buoyancy of water also reduces impact on joints, making it an ideal option for individuals with joint issues or those recovering from injuries. Moreover, the hydrostatic pressure of water aids in improving blood circulation, reducing swelling, and enhancing cardiovascular health.
