Lucifer’s Tricia Helfer In Bikini Asks “Cucumbers Anyone?”

Tricia Helfer is a model and actress. She’s known for her work in things like Lucifer and Killer Women. Tricia is also an avid gardener, and grows a lot of vegetables at home. Recently, she harvested a crop of cucumbers. Tricia shared her harvest with a new bikini photo on Instagram. In it, her amazing abs were on display. Tricia captioned the post, “Cucumbers anyone? My garden went from 5 to 100 in the last week I was away filming.”
She Loves Cucumbers

As you can see from her Instagram post, Tricia loves incorporating cucumbers into her diet, and they have a lot of benefits. Research from The Cleveland Clinic says, “Cucumbers belong to the gourd or Cucurbitaceae family, along with pumpkins, squash and melons. This low-calorie fruit (yes, a fruit — it has seeds and grows from a flowering plant!) is chock-full of water and other nutrients, including fiber, vitamins A, K and C, potassium and calcium.”
She Does Cardio
Tricia shared some of her workout secrets in an interview with SELF. She says that a lot of her go-to workouts involve cardio. “If I could only do one workout, I’d run or hike (I’m a heavy-duty hiker) with some calisthenics as well,” Tricia said. “You have to tone up, too. But there always has to be some cardio involved. You gotta get your heart rate going.”
She Does A Variety Of Workouts
When it comes to working out, Tricia likes to do a lot of different things. She shared some of her favorite exercises in her SELF interview. “To keep things fresh, I mix up my workouts: One day [I’ll do] yoga, one day’s running and weights, one day I’m doing Pilates, one day’s hiking.”
She Boxes
Tricia got into boxing while filming Battlestar Galactica, and it’s become a go-to workout for her. She talked about this in her interview with SELF. “I did study kickboxing briefly for a Battlestar Galactica fight scene, actually. And it’s an insane workout. It’s really good for toning your ass, thighs and hamstrings.”
She Eats Healthy Snacks

Tricia makes sure to eat a healthy diet, and that includes snacks. She shared some of her favorites in her SELF interview. ‘When hunger strikes at 3 PM, I go for sliced apple with almond butter.. Either that or I will sometimes crave tuna salad. I cut it up with a little bit of mayonnaise, dill pickles, and pepperoncinis and eat it with hummus and gluten-free crackers. I love a good roasted garlic hummus.”
