Maddie Ziegler in Bikini Gives Fans “More of This”

Maddie Ziegler is living her best life this summer in her bikini. In a new social media post, the star shows off her amazing body in a few skimpy swimsuits. “more of this 🩵!” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “She’s the coolest to ever do it period,” commented Lana Condor. “i love you more than life itself,” added Kenzie. How does the star approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.
Pilates
Maddie enjoys Pilates classes with pals Hailey Bieber and Addison Rae. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Exercise and Healthy Diet
In a YouTube video detailing her day, Maddie reveals some details about her diet and fitness approach. She fuels up with some “oats,” before hitting the gym. Her workout, which can be done anywhere, consists of jumping jacks, kicks, running in place, pliés, crunches, leg circles, yoga stretches, the splits, and lots of stretching.
Skin Breakouts
Maddie, who has dealt with skin issues, makes sure to clean up post-workout. “The reason why I shower immediately after I workout is that I am prone to breaking out on my face and back,” Maddie explains. “So if I quickly get into the shower right after I don’t break out as much.” She added to Cosmo that opening up about her skin woes has helped other people. “I’ve been dealing with back acne for two years on and off, and I’m so insecure about it at every photo shoot. Eventually, I was just like, Okay, I’m going to put it on my Story. I said, ‘This is what I’ve been dealing with. Is anyone else going through this, and do you have any recommendations?’ I had so many people reach out. I kind of want to use Instagram now as a more conversational thing, where we can talk about things that maybe aren’t always so great.”
Protein Bars
Maddie relies on protein bars to get all the protein she needs right after a workout. The convenient snack balances protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats. According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW), but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.
Therapy
Maddie is a big proponent of mental health. “I will always be a perfectionist, but not in the way where in Dance Moms you would see me crying and then I just suck it up and get right back to it,” Maddie told Cosmopolitan. “I’m going to therapy, talking to people, doing all the things. I’ve learned I’m not going to be in trouble if I’m feeling bad or if I have an injury. That’s the biggest difference. It’s amazing that I’m able to feel my feelings and not just push them down. I’m also just really clean. That’s where my perfectionism has transferred.”
