Madi Monroe is getting her zen on – in her workout clothes. In a few new social media posts the influencer shows off her amazing body while striking a yoga pose and her new hairdo. “What a great way to start the day,” she captioned a video of herself doing yoga at a retreat. “Slay,” she captioned a photo of her hair. How does she approach diet, exercise, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Jet Skiing
Madi enjoys jet skiing when she is on vacation. Why should you consider taking up the water sport? Per Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn up to 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.
2. Stand-Up Paddle Boarding
Madi is also a fan of stand up paddle boarding, which can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University. And, The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio.
3. Hiking
Madi is an avid hiker. “The hike was rough,” she captioned this shot. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
4. Yoga

In her recent post, Madi does yoga. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”
5. Positive Mindset

Madi’s “motto in life” is “fake it until you make it” she revealed on Here For It With Avani Gregg. “The second that you have a positive mindset, even if you're having your worst day, then you’ll start to believe it and you'll reflect that energy and you'll just make it happen,” she said. “For me, I was like, 'I'm so ugly' but I'm not going to talk about it. I'm the most beautiful person on this planet...People can tell you a million times but the second you start believing it yourself, it means way more," she said.
