1. She Hikes

As you can see from her post, Llewellyn likes to go for hikes to help her stay in shape. Harvard Health states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

2. She Rides Horses

As you can also see in her Instagram post, Llewellyn likes to spend time with horses. Naturally, she loves to ride to stay in shape. In this Instagram post, Llewellyn is seen riding in Jackson Hole. She captioned the post, “Something about horses.” The American Heart Association states that riding horses has a lot of health benefits. “In a Texas A&M University study, researchers focused on the amount of energy expended during high-intensity horseback riding. But you need not be roping cattle to burn calories. ‘Riding a horse for 45 minutes at a walk, trot and canter can burn up to 200 calories,’ said Dr. Dennis Sigler, a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horse specialist and professor in the department of animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station. ‘If you do something a bit more strenuous such as cutting or reining, that can come out to nearly seven calories per minute for the entire length of the riding period.’”

3. She Makes Time For Self-Care

Llewellyn shares a lot of her wellness tips on her fitness program’s Instagram. One of her biggest tips is making time for self-care. Llewellyn shared some of her favorite practices in this post. She likes to meditate, make a gratitude list, and limit screen time. Llewellyn captioned the post, “Taking time for self-care is essential to recharge and nurture yourself. 4. She’s Consistent

Llewellyn makes sure to be consistent with her workout routine. She talked about the importance of this in the caption of this workout video on Instagram. 5. She Stays Hydrated

Llewellyn makes sure to stay hydrated. In her self-care Instagram post, she revealed that she makes sure to drink enough water. She also talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Hydration is key! Keep a cute water bottle with you at all times. Your skin and energy levels will thank you.” Harvard Health states that drinking water is crucial. “Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”
