María Becerra is heating up rehearsals – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Argentinean musician shows off her amazing body – including her flat abs – in a crop top and sweats. “Rehearsing for the beautiful dates we have in EUROPE♥️😍 look at what this beautiful team is all about😍 we are a bunch and we are going straight there to give it our all ITALY AND SPAIN♥️😍 and so we start our #tour24,” she captioned the Instagram photos and video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. CrossFit and Boxing
Regular workouts help keep María in shape. “I do CrossFit and boxing, every day of the week. I love it, I love the sport, I am a fan. Plus, I'm very anxious and I need to release physical energy,” she revealed. CrossFit is a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that focuses on improving strength, endurance, and body composition. However, it can result in injury if not done properly. The involvement of well-educated coaches decreases the injury rate.
2. Bulletproof Coffee

María starts the day with Bulletproof. “It means bulletproof coffee. It's a coffee that was recommended to me by the nutritionist I was going to at the time, a very clever one. And it is a coffee that I always drink to give energy to the brain. When you get up, the first fuel the brain needs, supposedly, is fat,” she revealed on social media. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
3. Protein
Maria maintains a healthy vegan diet. She makes sure to fuel her body with what it needs. “I try to eat all the protein I need per day, I drink my protein shake every day,” she revealed. According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW), but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.
4. Hydration
María also prioritizes hydration. “I drink a lot of water, I try not to drink alcohol,” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
5. Sleep
María also understands the importance of rest. “I try to sleep eight hours. I do it for pleasure, I love living as healthy a life as possible,” she said. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.
