Meagan Good is dressed to sweat and showing off her flawless figure. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her washboard abs in a matching crop top and leggings as she heads into a workout session. “Sᴜɴᴅᴀʏ‘ȥ ..☕️ 🏃🏾♀️,” she captioned the series of Instagram photos. “Daaaamn she fine! 😍 you are Pure Love & Inspiration,” one of her followers commented. “You look incredible seester,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
She Works Out 3 to 4 Hours Per Week
Meagan invests a good amount of time in her body every week. “I work with my trainer Augustina about four to five times a week for 45 minutes a day,” she told Black Doctor. “We start out on the treadmill and then we do a lot of exercises using my own body weight. My favorite workouts are anything having to do with making my waistline trimmer and toned. My least favorite is any type of pushup! Everybody wants lightning in a bottle, and while healthy things in a bottle do help, you have to do the work to get the results you really want.”
She Pays Attention to Protein Intake and Portion Sizes

When it comes to diet, the star puts her focus on consuming enough protein and keeping her portions in check. “I try to eat healthy. In the morning, I have a protein shake. In the afternoon I eat mostly whatever I want, I just try to modify it to a healthier choice and a smaller portion—since I still have time to be active if I’m a little bad. In the evening, I stick to baked chicken and veggies,” she dished to Black Doctor. “I think some of the best ways to stay healthy when you have a busy life and career are protein shakes, lots of…… vitamins.”
She Prioritizes Hydration
In addition to rest and beauty products, “water” is one of Meagan’s top “beauty secrets,” she told Black Doctor. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
She Believes in God
ShutterstockMeagan keeps herself grounded with religion. “Before I go to the gym, I read my Bible, say some affirmations, and listen to some gospel music or something that will help get me in a positive zone to set my intention for the day. The routine starts even before I hit the gym because if I'm already in the right frame of mind, topping it off with a workout makes me feel unstoppable,” she told Byrdie.
And, She Indulges in Self-Care
“I just turned 40, and I've been in many amazing transitions mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I've been valuing time with myself, whether that's journaling, praying, reading, or going to the gym, but it doesn't have to be the same every day. The beauty of caring for yourself is finding freedom. It's your day, and you can do what you want to do to feel present. Sometimes I stay in and cook; other times, I order takeout. I might binge-watch a TV show on a self-care day,” she told Byrdie.
