Meagan Good is breaking the internet – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her incredibly fit figure in a tiny bathing suit, eliciting a major response from her followers, who dubbed her a goddess. “🔥🔥🔥 break the Internet then,” one of them commented. GORGEOUS,” added Yaya DaCosta. How does the newly divorced star keep herself looking fire-emoji worthy? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. She Works Out…A Lot

“I work with my trainer Augustina about four to five times a week for 45 minutes a day. We start out on the treadmill and then we do a lot of exercises using my own body weight. My favorite workouts are anything having to do with making my waistline trimmer and toned. My least favorite is any type of pushup! Everybody wants lightning in a bottle, and while healthy things in a bottle do help, you have to do the work to get the results you really want,” Meagan told Black Doctor about her approach to exercise.

2. She Sticks to a Healthy Diet

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,14:,Meagan,Good,At,The,Shazam!Shutterstock

Meagan maintains discipline with her diet. “I try to eat healthy. In the morning, I have a protein shake. In the afternoon I eat mostly whatever I want, I just try to modify it to a healthier choice and a smaller portion—since I still have time to be active if I’m a little bad. In the evening, I stick to baked chicken and veggies,” she dished to Black Doctor.

3. She Drinks Protein Shakes and Takes Vitamins

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,10:,Megan,Good,At,The,DayShutterstock

Meagan makes sure she gets the nutrients she needs. I think some of the best ways to stay healthy when you have a busy life and career are protein shakes, lots of…… vitamins,” she told Black Doctor.

4. Here Are Her Other “Beauty Secrets”

Los,Angeles,-,Apr,11:,Actress,Meagan,Good,Arrives,ForShutterstock

“My best beauty secrets are rest, water, moisturizer, and a really great eye cream. Also, an antioxidant for when you travel, so that the elements that get in the plane don’t suck the moisture from your face. Let me reiterate rest. No matter how much good food you eat or exercise you do, sometimes you just need to take time, breathe, and rest. There’s nothing like it to help recharge your batteries,” Meagan added to the publication.

5. She Believes in God

Sun,Heaven,God,Yellow,Amazing,Beautiful,Shining,With,Sunrise,BehindShutterstock

Meagan gets grounded with god. “Before I go to the gym, I read my Bible, say some affirmations, and listen to some gospel music or something that will help get me in a positive zone to set my intention for the day. The routine starts even before I hit the gym because if I'm already in the right frame of mind, topping it off with a workout makes me feel unstoppable,” she told Byrdie.

6. She Prioritizes Self-Care

Meagan also stresses the importance of self-care. “I just turned 40, and I've been in many amazing transitions mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I've been valuing time with myself, whether that's journaling, praying, reading, or going to the gym, but it doesn't have to be the same every day. The beauty of caring for yourself is finding freedom. It's your day, and you can do what you want to do to feel present. Sometimes I stay in and cook; other times, I order takeout. I might binge-watch a TV show on a self-care day,” she told Byrdie.

1. She Screens For Cancer

In an interview with Essence, Good revealed that she recently suffered a health scare. Good was told that tissue found in her uterus could turn into cancer. “Both of my grandmothers died from cancer, and my grandfather died from cancer, [and] my aunt just had a mastectomy,” she said. “It just was terrifying to think, this is how it happens. One second you’re fine, the next second you’re hearing things like this and you don’t know what’s going to happen.” Good is now encouraging others to get checked out regularly. “Having routine checkups, whether you think there could be something wrong or you don’t think anything’s wrong at all, is the only way to really spot these things and to know the difference,” she says.

2. She Strength Trains

Good posts a lot of workout videos on her Instagram, letting her followers know how she stays in shape. One type of workout that she likes to do is strength training exercises. Good posted this video on Instagram of herself doing different exercises, including TRX-inspired pull-ups, lateral pulldowns, and shoulder presses. She captioned the video, “Your goals don’t care if you’re tired. Let’s go!”

3. She Combines Cardio And Leg Exercises

Good likes to do cardio and leg workouts to help her stay in shape. Sometimes both at the same time. She posted this video on Instagram of herself doing lunges while on the treadmill. She captioned the video, “Happy Sunday kids!”

4. She Makes Wellness A Priority

For Good, she makes wellness and taking care of herself a main priority each day. She says that she likes to start this process almost ten years ago, and likes to start first thing in the morning. “I started to realize in my early 30s that I needed to make sure I was taking care of myself and setting my intention for every day, for my mental health and my well-being,” she tells SELF.

5. She Uses Simple Products On Her Skin And Body

Good has incredible skin, and she broke down her skincare routine to SELF. She says that she’s careful which products she uses on her skin each day, and likes to use ones that have simple ingredients. “I’m pretty basic on the body washes because for some reason, when I use body wash that has moisturizer in it, I don’t feel as if I’ve really gotten ‘the day’ off. I use Dial soap, and then I’ll use exfoliating hand gloves. I’m obsessed with them. Then I’ll wash my face. I’ll either use the tea tree oil cleanser from Trader Joe’s, or I’ll use Cetaphil, because Cetaphil doesn’t really have a lot of stuff in it. It’s tried-and-true, and every dermatologist will say that it’s one of the best things you can use that won’t strip your skin.”

Gillian Zinser is an actress we always love to see, known for roles in 90210 and Smile. She’s also a director, best known for her short film, Bad Habits. Zinser just shared some highlights of a trip she took to Buena Vista. In them, she, her husband, and their dogs ran on the beach. She captioned the post, “My kinda heaven.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Gillian Zinser stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Wants To Share Positive Messages

Zinser talked about making the film Bad Habits with Interview Magazine. “I think I was inspired to share the Sisters’ work as a direct response to the frustration (severe understatement) I’ve felt living through this current administration, bearing witness to all the hateful, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic (we could go on…) rhetoric, and behavior they’ve tried to ignite. The Sisterhood has devoted the last 40 years to challenging these forces of hate, promoting human rights, respect for diversity, and inspiring a message of freedom and equality. I can’t really think of a more appropriate moment to celebrate that than right now.”

2. She Wants To Educate Others

Dice,Form,The,Expressions,"we,Care",And,"we,Share".Shutterstock

Zinser tells Interview Magazine that she wants to use her film to educate others. “I’m interested in making work that promotes connection and empathy, explores and confronts stereotypes, and broadens perspectives. So I’m mostly attracted to stories focusing on unique and fringe communities, those on the margins fighting for acceptance and visibility, and generally anyone going against the grain and being unapologetically themselves in the face of adversity.”

3. She Swims

Zinser spends a lot of time outside. One thing that she likes to do is go swimming. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself floating on her back, captioning it, “Bury me here.” The Cleveland Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “We’re not saying that swimming is easy (far from it!), but swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

4. She Goes After What She Wants

Zinser goes after her dreams. She talked about this in an interview. “The cool thing about dreams is that they grow and evolve alongside us as we do. I've started to dream about making my own films and learning how to tell my own stories, and having been raised in front of the camera has given me this invaluable education and preparation to be able to move behind it.” By the looks of things, she’s succeeded.

5. She Walks

Zinser owns a bunch of dogs, whom she features on her Instagram. One thing she likes to do with them is go on walks. She shared several posts on her account of herself walking her dogs. Harvard Health states that walking has a lot of benefits. “Several studies have found that walking reduces arthritis-related pain, and that walking five to six miles a week can even prevent arthritis from forming in the first place. Walking protects the joints — especially the knees and hips, which are most susceptible to osteoarthritis — by lubricating them and strengthening the muscles that support them.”

Emily Ratajkowski boldly challenges conventional notions of empowerment. The model and author has once again ignited conversation by sharing a swimsuit-clad photo from within her house. The image echoes her ongoing exploration of empowerment, as she delves into the complexities of image commodification and self-objectification. In her book My Body, Ratajkowski traverses the intricate landscape of her journey, addressing the multifaceted dimensions of power, sexuality, and feminism. With candor, she questions the dynamics that underpin empowerment and invites us all to contemplate the nuanced shades within. (In the new photo, she is holding the book Working Girl: On Selling Art and Selling Sex.) Read on to hear her thoughts on all this and to see the photos she has shared to continue the conversation.

1. A Booster for Empowerment

Ratajkowski wrote a book called My Body with a purpose in mind “I think that I was a young woman who a lot of people looked to as this example of empowerment through capitalizing off of the way I looked off of my sexuality, and I wanted to tell the whole story to that. I think that it's not just as simple as power is equals sexualizing yourself, being a model, being beautiful. There's obviously so many ways that I've been empowered. I found fame and success, but especially for young girls, I wanted them to understand the whole story,” she said on The View.

2. Advice For Young Women

“I think in general, young women, you kind of have this feeling when you're 19 that you own the world,” she said on The View. “You're beautiful, you're getting this attention, and I think that you can sort of think that you are the one in power. You're the one in charge when you're actually being taken advantage of. And I think that's why so many women when they look back on their lives, say like, wow, I was a child then. I didn't realize for young models specifically, you're taught that what I was saying about the Blurred Lines video”—in which she appeared without clothes—“that there's someone who's prettier, who's more agreeable, who's not going to waste any money your time on set. So just don't make a big fuss. I wish that I had learned that.”

3. She Has a Signature Scent

About her book, she says, “Well, all the essays are about kind of relationships or experiences I've had with my body, whether it be through modeling as a commodity or as a young woman developing into a woman's figure when I was still very young. And I also liked the idea that when I came up with the title that it would be an all-text cover. I think that so many people are used to seeing images of me in my body. I liked the idea that just the words were kind of enough for the association and that people would bring their ideas about who I am or my image publicly to the book, and then we'd kind of shatter them,” she told British Vogue.

4. Complicated Sides

“An idea that's really at the heart of the book is the double-edged sword of commodification of image and body and sexuality and objectification of self. I mean, I think that undeniably, there's been so many ways that I have,” she told British Vogue. “I built a platform, I'm talking to you right now. If I was an unknown writer, I'm not sure that I would have the same capability to get these ideas out into the world. And that's come through fame, which has been through modeling and more specifically in my case, really sexualizing myself and letting others sexualize me. I think it's really important to kind of name that there's just obvious power that can be achieved through that. What this book is trying to do is sort of show the complicated sides to it, that for a very long time I felt like being a hustler and knowing how to work the system as a woman was feminism, and then it was my choice, and it's just more complicated than that.”

5. Asking Questions About Feminism

“I'm more interested in asking questions around feminism than I used to be. I think that there was a defiant wanting to prove something. Before, when people would ask me about my politics around feminism and being a woman, I felt very like, [eff] off. It's my choice and I can do what I want. And that's feminism because I'm choosing and kind of had ideas about what was empowering and what wasn't. And now I'm just more curious about looking and asking questions and having conversations around power dynamics and women. I don't come with answers even though I've written this book. I feel like it's much more about the posing questions around feminism,” she told British Vogue.

Rayna Vallandingham is flashing her washboard abs – in a two-piece exercise set from Alo. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her impressive midsection during a workout at the gym. “dojang diaries,” she captioned the series of snaps. “Magnific! Very very beautiful,” commented one of her followers. “♥️More like diaries of a hottie♥️” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Be Consistent

Consistency – at the gym and the martial arts studio – is the key to success. "It is a way of life," Rayna says. "It's not only teaching your body movements and being in synchronicity with your body, but also just like the mental aspect of it."

Fight Your Way to a Hot Body

Rayna is a big fan of martial arts. She has been doing taekwondo since she was 2, earning her first black belt at 6. "In the very beginning, my parents put me in the sport because I was just really shy, and I think they could tell that I needed something," says Vallandingham, who lives and trains in Los Angeles. "Immediately, I just loved it. I felt at home, and every single day, instead of watching Dora, I wanted to go to the dojo,” she told Well + Good. Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function, psychological health, weight loss, and physical fitness.

Work on Strength and Flexibility

Rayna recommends prioritizing strength, flexibility, and power. "Of the three, I think strength and flexibility are the top two," Vallandingham says. "We used to have people stand on my legs and force my knees to come down in butterfly stretch," she says. "I have permanent damage to my body—I have tendonitis [because of this]."

Lift Weights

If you want a strong, lean body like Vallandingham, you must lift for it. The star strength trains, focusing on supersets, doing two moves back-to-back that target the same muscle groups to double down on their gains. One of her favorite exercises is a goblet squat. She stands with her feet shoulder-width apart, folded forward until she can slide her palms underneath her soles (you could also hold your ankles or calves), then bends her knees, lowering her butt toward the floor while lifting her chest, coming into a deep squat. She'll bend and extend her legs several times in this position. Then, it's on to the main event, holding a weight in her hands while bending down into a deep squat. "I love utilizing a Bosu ball—they're pretty much in every single gym," she adds.

Stretch

Rayna never skips stretching. She starts by by lying on the floor with her legs up the wall and then allowing them to open out into a side split. "I let gravity do its work because that's my body telling me, okay, this is where we're at," she says. "My hips are opening on their own, and I'm not having to force anything." “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Charli Hawkins is training in the snow – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Olympian shows off her fantastic figure – including her flat abs – in an exercise set while enjoying the winter weather. “TRAINING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND! ❄️🥶❤️✨Gearing up in this altitude for the LONDON MARATHON this April! I’m so excited to see what my mind and body can make happen! To my marathon runners: it’s your time to shine, PLEASE tell me ALL of your tips, all of your advice, and for all of you who understand what I’m about to attempt, please send your words of encouragement 😂 Also feel free to try to talk me out of this as well thanks👍 We are on the training countdown. Turning a sprinter, jumper, and thrower into a long distance runner 🫣🙌 What do you think my time will be?” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Minfulness and Meditation

Charli practices mindfulness. Before going for a run, she says words of intention. “I am willing. I am grateful. I surrender,” she revealed during an interview with San Diego Magazine. Meditation:

“When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

Stretching

She also makes sure to stretch. “If you ever can think of some dynamic stretches: F.A.S.T. ✨🙌 My left hip and right QLs have been SO tight lately so I’m on a journey of getting them right! What’s bugging you at the moment???” she captioned a post. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Here Is The Right Way To Run

During her interview with San Diego, Charli explained how you should be running. “Remember, the sole of the foot is showing right in front of us,” she said, doing a type of high-knee movement. “To do this, you’re over exaggerating your running form while standing still. Raise your knee up, point your toes to the clouds (forming an A), and then pedal the sole of your foot forward before striking your knee down. It’s more complicated than it sounds after 30-plus years of moving a certain way,” the writer explained.

Positive Attitude

In a recent post Charli revealed things she learned about positivity. “Patience is easier when it isn’t required,” she said. “The people around you are BLESSINGS (which I feel like I already understood but sometimes it’s nice to have it emphasized).” Also, “We are up, we are down, but trusting the process sometimes means knowing that it’s all good even when it’s not the best” and “Making a plan is the best option for everything. It’s ok if the plan doesn’t go perfect, but just willy-nilly-ing it is not the best option when you want to get things done.”

Never Giving Up

Charli refuses to give up. “Understand what you want first, and then go for it. Then keep going for it all the time, and, eventually, you’ll get it,” she said during her interview.

She shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself at the beach. In them, Arena is seen in a white swimsuit. She captioned the post, “Native habitat.”

Biking

Giulia enjoys cycling. During her trip to the Maldives Giulia went bike riding. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Reading

Giulia is also a fan of books. In the Maldives, she took some time to relax and read. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Snorkeling

Giulia snorkels, recently discovering the “Sea Lung,” she revealed in a post. “It reaches 60cm long with a weight of almost 10kg, and represents the largest medusa of the Mediterranean. I don’t know why, but I have always experienced the charm of Jellyfish: creatures that are essentially simple and yet capable of surviving entire geological epochs floating, light and slow, between the currents. She, remains one of the most beautiful sights of this summer.” Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Coffee

Giulia is a coffee drinker. She especially likes shots of espresso. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Yoga

Giulia is a yogi. Here she is doing yoga. There are many reasons to do yoga, according to Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”
