Every week Mercedes cooks up lean meat and vegetables and brings her meals on the road with her in cooler bags. She then has healthy meals to reheat in her hotel room. “When I first started (wrestling) I would try and find healthy restaurants which is really hard,” she told Fox News Australia. “A lot of tons only have fast food. Recently a lot of the boys started bringing their own food on the road and I decided to do the same thing,” she added. “It’s probably saving me like $200 a week by making my own food.”

Mercedes uses wholesome ingredients. “I make ground turkey, ground buffalo, chicken and vegetables. I feel like my body has changed completely knowing what ingredients you’re putting in your body,” she told Fox News.

3. Working Out 5 Day Per Week

Banks hits the gym five days a week. She also gets her cardio in while fighting. Her sessions involve kettlebell swings and lifts, rope work, and compound barbell movements such as power cleans. “Me, Bayley, Seth Rollins and Cesaro try to find a CrossFit gym any town were in,” she explained. “We probably spend two hours in the gym. If you want to look like me, that’s the way it goes. When I first started I didn’t know how to lift a dumbbell and now my max deadlift is 215.

4. Workout Buddies…And Competition

“I’m a lot stronger than Bayley. I like training with her. Anything she can do, I can do better,” Sasha claims. “I’m so thankful Bayley is on the road with me. I have someone to talk to. It’s nice to have someone there that has the same things in common. I feel like we are one in the same.”

One of the key ways Vanessa stays in sensational shape is by working out daily. “I would do seven days if I had time,” she told Parade about her workouts. She tries to get her workouts in as soon after waking up as possible. “I love starting my day off that way because sometimes I’ll have a less productive days and if I’ve gotten a workout in, then I feel like I’m accomplished no matter what.”

2. She Did Sumo Squats with a Kettlebell

Vanessa started off her mini workout video, which was first shared by her trainer in May, by perfectly executing sumo squats with a kettlebell. The compound exercise is incredibly effective, forcing a variety of muscles -- including glutes, quadriceps, calves -- to workout together. In another compound exercise, Hudgens held a medicine ball while she executed a slide squat, a move made extra hard with the addition of a resistance band around her ankles.

Pilates, Soul Cycle, hot yoga, and strength training are a few of her favorite workouts—and sometimes she even does multiple workouts a day. “Some days when I have the time, I love doing Pilates first and then going over to Soul Cycle. I love a double up!” she told Parade. “I always feel so accomplished when I double up. I’ve been going to this Pilates studio called WundaBar for years and it’s just a great deep muscle-training workout. It’s not super high intensity but I always feel it the next day.”

Buying a pair of dumbbells and doing a dumbbell-only workout at home or in a safe spot in the gym, whether that’s a classroom or just a corner, is an amazing way to get into it and is less intimidating.”

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts.
