Meredith Mickelson is a top model signed with IMG, known for her stunning looks and fit physique. In April, she shared an inspiring gym video on Instagram, captioned, “the best🏋️‍♀️ @aloyoga ps jump-roping without a bra wasn’t my best move.” Curious how she stays in such incredible shape? Discover 5 ways Meredith Mickelson keeps fit and see the photos that prove her methods work.

1. She Does Lunges

In her Instagram video, Mickelson is seen doing lunges. These are a great workout to do. ACE Fitness states, “Lunges work the biggest muscles in your lower body — mainly the quadriceps, gluteus maximus, and the adductor magnus (the muscle in your inner thigh). Other muscles that come into play are the hamstrings, gluteus medius, calves, and core stabilizers, says Susane Pata, content strategist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and NASM-certified personal trainer based in Miami.”

2. She Strength Trains

Meredith Mickelson.3Meredith Mickelson/Instagram

Mickelson is seen using weights in her Instagram video. She is also seen using a weighted ball. The Mayo Clinic reports that workouts like this have a lot of benefits. “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

3. She Jumps Rope

Meredith Mickelson.1Meredith Mickelson/Instagram

Mickelson is seen jumping rope in her Instagram video. Piedmont states that jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “It’s an amazing total body exercise that engages all of the major muscle groups,” says Clinton Maclin, ACSM CEP-CPO, an exercise physiologist and safety coach at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center. “You can use it to warm up or as a stand-alone exercise, and it incorporates cardiovascular exercise and resistance training. When you jump rope, you work your upper body, lower body and your core because of the resistance. Walking on a treadmill works your lower body and your core, but you don't get nearly the resistance you would by using a jump rope.”

4. She Does Planks

Meredith Mickelson.2Meredith Mickelson/Instagram

Mickelson is seen doing a plank exercise in the Instagram video. Harvard Health reports that planks have a lot of benefits. “This simple move is the ideal exercise for strengthening crucial core muscles. As you go about your day, almost every move you make revolves around your core — from picking up items on the floor to twisting to see if the coast is clear when driving. Your core is made up of several muscle groups and covers your abdominals, back, hips, pelvis, and buttocks. A weak core can cause all kinds of problems. It can lead to poor posture, and inevitably to neck and shoulder pain. Sore knees and hips often can be traced to a weak core.”

5. She’s Found Acceptance In Herself

Mickelson talked about struggling with her body image in an interview with Vulkan Magazine. She says that she has learned to find acceptance in herself. “I’ve dealt with crazy body image issues, eating disorders, over working out, depression, anxiety and overwhelming amounts of need to get everyone to accept and like me when that’s never possible. It forced me to grow in ways I didn’t know were possible and gave me new depth and understanding.”

Madeline Sturt, a seasoned CrossFit competitor known for her dynamic workouts and engaging social media presence, recently thrilled her followers with a workout video set to Cher’s hit "If I Could Turn Back Time." Known for her rigorous training routine, Sturt showcased her skills on gymnastic rings, demonstrating the high level of fitness and dedication required in her sport. In her Instagram post, she playfully challenged her audience’s taste in music, suggesting that anyone who didn’t find the song a 'banger' was simply lying to themselves. This blend of humor and hardcore fitness exemplifies Sturt’s approach to training—intense yet accessible, inviting her audience to both admire her athleticism and join her in a shared love for classic tunes and tough workouts.

1. She Jumps Rope

Sturt shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “Saturday burner.” In the first video, Sturt is seen jumping rope. The Cleveland Clinic states, “Jumping rope can be a good form of cardio, which increases your heart rate and can help decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease…And when you increase your heart rate, you also burn more calories. So, how many calories does jumping rope burn? While it depends on your pace, on average, someone may burn about 100 calories jumping rope for 10 minutes.”

2. She Lifts Weights

Madeline Sturt.3Madeline Sturt/Instagram

In the previous Instagram post, Sturt is seen lifting a barbell. ACE Fitness states that lifting weights has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

3. She Climbs

Madeline Sturt.2Madeline Sturt/Instagram

Sturt is seen climbing a wall in the previous Instagram post. Climbing of all kinds has a lot of benefits. All Climbers states, “Climbing is an endlessly variable series of movements. No climbing surface or route is quite like another, so the work you ask your muscles to perform during a climb changes each time you exercise. This ensures you’re training a greater number of muscles. Research suggests this kind of dynamic muscle activation is much more challenging than simple, repetitive movements.”

4. She Runs

Sturt shared this video on Instagram of herself running on a treadmill. FloTrack states that running has a lot of benefits. “Running releases endorphins, which then trigger a positive feeling in your body. The chemicals released after any exercise improve your mood and decrease anxiety and stress. You get a boost of energy and self-esteem and your sleep also improves. Running can set into motion a continuous cycle of improving different facets of your mental health.”

5. She Uses A Stationary Bike

In the first photo in this Instagram post, Sturt is seen on a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness states that doing this has a lot of benefits. “A stationary bike workout is a low-impact workout that uses smooth movements to strengthen bones and joints without putting much pressure on them. This makes it a good workout option for people with joint issues or injuries.”

Read on to see 5 ways Aleah James stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Box Jumps

As you can see from her Instagram post, James does box jumps to stay in shape. This is a plyometric exercise, and according to NASM, this has a lot of benefits. “Of the many benefits of plyometric training, some of the more recognized are: increased vertical jump height, increased long jump distance, increased strength, improved running speed, agility, and quickness, injury reduction, improved throwing, hitting, striking velocity.”

2. She Weight Lifts

James likes to weight train to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself lifting weights. James shared this video of herself lifting a barbell, captioning it, “Meanwhile.” She also shared this weightlifting video, captioning it, “Don’t get too comfortable.” ACE Fitness states that lifting weights has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

3. She Does Pull-Ups

James makes sure to work her upper body. One thing she likes to do is pull-ups. James shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them. She captioned it, “Benefits of pull ups after upper workout: It's hard.” James also posted this pull-up video on her page. She captioned that post, “Enthusiasm level: off the scale.”

The exercise offers the breath-stealing effect of running in a very condensed timeframe. There's also a strength, or anaerobic, side to burpees. Movements within the exercise mesh resistance training with explosive muscle action. A burpee targets your arms, chest and shoulders. It’ll work your abs and tax your leg muscles, hips and gluteus maximus, too.”

5. She Jumps Rope

James likes to jump rope to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing so, captioning it, “I’ve grown to like skipping. My shins have not.” Piedmont states that jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “It’s an amazing total body exercise that engages all of the major muscle groups,” says Clinton Maclin, ACSM CEP-CPO, an exercise physiologist and safety coach at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center. “You can use it to warm up or as a stand-alone exercise, and it incorporates cardiovascular exercise and resistance training.”

1. She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram video, Miller is seen using weights to workout. ACE Fitness states that doing this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. 2. She Does Squats

One workout with weights that Miller enjoys doing is squats. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them with a dumbbell. Miller captioned the post, “Just try new things.” Allina Health states that squats have a lot of benefits. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

3. She Jumps Ropes

Miller shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram post. In it, she is seen jumping rope. Piedmont reports that jumping rope has a lot of benefits.

4. She Runs

Miller likes to run to stay in shape. Sometimes, she will bring her dog along with her. Miller shared this video on Instagram of herself running with her pup. She captioned the post, “Had sprints in my @prvnfitness training today so I decided to bring Cash dog along. I wish I could say he slowed me down but I think I slowed him down! Becca Voigt Miller.5Becca Voigt Miller/Instagram

Miller makes sure to do ab workouts. She even has an Instagram story highlight dedicated to doing a set of them each day. Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.
