Michelle Lewin makes sure to stay in shape. And her recent Instagram video revealed that she doesn’t always need to go to the gym or use workout equipment to do so. In it, Lewin is seen doing bodyweight exercises on a bench. Lewin does mountain climbers, v-sit crunches, and leg drops. She captioned the video, “No gym, no problem!” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Michelle Lewin stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Core Workouts

In her Instagram video, Lewin is seen doing a lot of core workouts. Harvard Health reports that core workouts have a lot of benefits. “No matter where motion starts, it ripples upward and downward to adjoining links of the chain. Thus, weak or inflexible core muscles can impair how well your arms and legs function. And that saps power from many of the moves you make. Properly building up your core cranks up the power. A strong core also enhances balance and stability. Thus, it can help prevent falls and injuries during sports or other activities. In fact, a strong, flexible core underpins almost everything you do.”

2. She Orders Food Online

Lewin shared some of her tips for staying healthy with Hello! Magazine. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy. Lewin says that she avoids buying unhealthy foods, and that buying food online helps her eat better. “Online grocery shopping is a great way to stay on track with your goals because you will not be tempted by all the goodies throughout the grocery store.”

3. She’s Vegan

Lewin tells Hello! Magazine that she has made some changes to her diet. “I have essentially become a vegan. It’s really hard for me to find protein sources that really taste good, so the struggle is real.” Harvard Health states that a vegan diet has a lot of benefits. “A recent meta-analysis, published in JAMA Internal Medicine, looked at nine observational studies totaling over 300,000 participants to see how plant-based diets (both vegan and vegetarian) relate to type 2 diabetes risk. The study found that those most closely following plant-based diets (emphasizing foods like whole grains, legumes, nuts, vegetables, and fruits, while de-emphasizing or eliminating animal foods such as meat, dairy, and eggs) had a 23% lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes.”

4. She’s Motivated

Michelle Lewin shared her wellness secrets in an interview with Simply Shredded. In it, she shared how she stays motivated. “I would say the mirror. There’s nothing more motivating than when you find a new vein! Am I crazy? Probably, but it’s true! Progress is what motivates me to keep pushing harder and not give up. Also it’s extremely motivating to have so many female fans.”

5. She Does Intense Workouts

Lewin shared her favorite workouts in her Simply Shredded interview. She says that she does a lot of intense workouts. “I just love to sweat like a maniac. So whatever I feel like: Stair Master, Rollerblading around South Beach Miami or Spinning classes. I keep the intensity high and make sure that I am always pushing my hardest.”
