Michelle Waterson is sprinting in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the fighter shows off her amazing body and impressive strength during a training session. “Beautiful day to challenge yourself!! SPRINT RUNS UPHILL 🤢🥴😜 Always grateful for my amazing teammates who help me push the boundaries and elevate my standards!! #letsgo,” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Clean, Whole Foods
Michelle keeps her diet simple and healthy. "For me, it's mostly just eating all clean, whole foods and if I keep it that simple then it is a lot easier for me to follow," she told Delish.
2. Protein-Centric Diet
Michelle consumes a lot of protein. Breakfast is eggs, turkey bacon, and toast with either peanut butter or avocado on top, followed by a plant-based protein shake for lunch. "I'm usually in-between practices so I don't want to eat anything too heavy," she added. If she wants an actual meal she will stick to a lean grilled meat with veggies or a sweet potato, rice, or quinoa on the side for extra carbs.
3. Cheat Meal

Michelle will indulge in the occasional cheat meal. Her go to is a huge burger with “all the fixings and sauces,” a side of fries, and a Coke or a beer.
4. Coffee
Before breakfast Michelle has a cup of coffee and a big glass of water. "Along with that breakfast I’m having a cup of coffee to get me going for the day and also a huge glass of water or I just take a bottle of BODYARMOR with me," she said.
5. Counting Macros
Michelle counts her macros. She says that this helps her because she knows exactly what proteins, fats, and carbs she is getting every day.
6. Self-Love
Michelle is all about self-love. “MMA is not for someone who wants to keep cute. Your body changes. You lose body fat, and that means you lose breast tissue. Your shoulders get broad, and you get scraped from the gloves. I do it because I love to do it. I could definitely be doing something else if I just wanted to look hot,” she told ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue 2017.
