Millie Bobby Brown is modeling some new pieces from her Florence by Mills collection. In a new social media post the Stranger Things star shows off her amazing body – including her flat abs – in shorts and a matching crop top. “Underneath is what counts 💜new intimates are here,” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Strength Training

“I’m obsessed with working out. I eat like a pig so it kind of makes up for that,” Millie told Vulture. Millie’s main workout is strength training. In one of her Instagram Stories she perfectly executed knee-to-chest reps, an arm routine, and also did ab work. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you develop strong bones, manage your weight, enhance your quality of life, manage chronic conditions, and sharpen your thinking skills

2. Boxing

Millie fights, but it’s “not a training workout. I train to box,” she told Vulture. “Obviously I don’t want to do it professionally. But I have done some inter-clubs before.” She works out at Phoenix MMA U.K. in London. “It’s a great gym, and I have lots of friends,” she says. “So I like to go to the gym. I do Thai boxing Mondays, jujitsu Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Wednesdays.” She also has a punching bag right outside in her garden.

3. Diving

Millie enjoys scuba diving with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. “Just keep swimming,” she captioned a recent post. Like snorkeling, scuba is a great aerobic exercise, burning calories, and offering other health benefits like improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

4. Aerial Silk Workouts

“I love aerial silks. It's always been a passion of mine,” Millie gushed to Glamour UK. “So I find using aerial silks really fun and therapeutic – it gives me a break from the world. And you find art within it. While I was doing it, I thought, gosh, the silks in so many ways represent womanhood: there’s strength, both masculinity and femininity, and you can create poses and shapes that are so different to show your sexuality,” she continued. “It represents so much: you can be big and you can be tiny and you can be afraid of the silk. You can be afraid of the height you are going at. You can be afraid of how low you are. And so it represents a story.”

5. Drinking Coffee

Millie enjoys coffee. “Quick coffee break on set ☺️☕️♥️,” she captioned a post. The Cleveland Clinic explains that there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
